09/12/2025: Went there to see a band. Great night had. Great pub, good service
29/10/2025: Good atmosphere! The resident cocktail maker was not present but the fella behind the bar did his best and produced some top quality cocktails for us. Staff are incredibly sound.

04/12/2025: An Exceptional Stay, Made Perfect by Outstanding Service
I had the pleasure of staying at The Brehon Hotel & Spa on Monday, 1st December 2025, and the experience was nothing short of amazing from start to finish.
The standout element was undoubtedly the incredible service. A huge thank you to Bojana, whose support was truly above and beyond. From assisting seamlessly with my check in to ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect, her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a significant difference. It’s staff like Bojana who transform a great hotel into an exceptional one.
The hotel itself is beautiful, but the spa facilities are in a league of their own. Without a doubt, this is the best SPA facility I have ever experienced. Every aspect was pristine, calming, and of the highest quality, providing the perfect retreat.
My stay was an absolute delight, and I left feeling completely rejuvenated. I cannot recommend The Brehon Hotel & Spa highly enough and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience.
03/12/2025: All the staff were friendly. The rooms are comfortable. The food and drinks at the bar were amazing.

Bulgaden Castle
05/05/2026: The food here is gorgeous, I had Malaysian chicken, and it was delicious. I have never been disappointed with a meal here. The staff are really lovely too. So helpful and friendly.
01/04/2026: The food is very nice and loads of options for vegetarians etc. The price is very reasonable for the quality of food served. The staff are excellent, brilliant with children and very patient when taking orders. There's a nice atmosphere while eating and for family occasions this allows guests to chat among themselves without much background noise. Well worth a visit and a credit to the owners and staff.

South's Pub
Limerick
19/04/2026: On Sunday, 19th April 2026, my partner and I purchased two roast stuffed porks, a glass of Coca Cola and a pint of 7-Up.
The food was nice and the portions were generous BUT our Sunday lunch cost us €51.30!
We spent €42 for a similar lunch at an hotel in the eastern suburbs a week earlier.
I think that Souths need to look at their pricing.
09/04/2026: Absolute gem in the city. Food is superb and it's a lovely place for a few pints. Worth a visit.

Coffee Works
Dublin
06/12/2025: Excellent coffee options. Food is great too. Try the jam-jams
04/12/2025: A modern and well-organised cafe that feels open even during busy hours. The layout avoids crowding and noise, allowing for a comfortable, extended stay. It’s a dependable place to sit back, talk or unwind, especially when you want a controlled environment that doesn’t feel hectic or overstimulating.

Donegans
Newtown monasterboice
08/06/2026: My 2rd time at the restaurant...
Food was nice, edible, but wasn't enough on the plate for adults! When we finished our plates a waitress came over can I get you anymore spuds or veg.. at that stage plates were taken away or empty??
That was disappointing 😞
It was a communion last Saturday.
I actually got a chippy takeaway on way home... ?
Regards
Roisin
03/06/2026: There is a lack of consistency particularly with the breakfast, coffees and customer service. Better consistency with the carvery, however, after last breakfast experience I won't be planning a return anytime soon. One positive is Ann, a lovely staff member who always is so welcoming, professional and kind. The stars are mainly for her and she deserves five stars.

08/06/2026: During our road trip through Ireland, we stopped here for a late breakfast. The restaurant was very busy. Besides cappuccino and tea, I tried the "Brunch in a Bun"—a classic Irish breakfast served in a burger bun. I really enjoyed it!
10/05/2026: Small, cozy local restaurant, perfect for enjoying a meal. Excellent service.

02/06/2026: I didn't enjoy their steak sandwiche
14/05/2026: Hoping for coffee & some food after a very early start travelling to a morning funeral. Unfortunately it was not open at 10.30am as it said on the web, but 12 noon. So the small funeral party had to go elsewhere
