The best restaurants

12/10/2025: Can't recommend this venue enough! We spent 2 nights here for a Hen Party and it was fabulous. Great facilities in the cottages, the Barn facility is brilliant for a group and Bryanna was so helpful as a host. She has provided everything you could possibly need for a weekend away no matter the occasion. She has amazing local knowledge and had suggestions for activities, food options and evening entertainment. The village is a short walk away and the setting is beautiful. Can't wait to visit again!

29/09/2025: An amazing hen party venue - Bryanna is wonderful and the whole venue is incredibly well stocked. We very comfortably hosted 24 women and were able to self cater with plenty of glasses, cutlery etc. Couldn’t recommend it enough

30/12/2025: This is a takeaway and I am not sure I ever had a nicer fillet of beef satay from a takeaway or from a restaurant. Well done. First class.

05/09/2025: A very good pub in the area with excellent staff, it has a back area with huge wooden benches, very good pints, in short, an authentic traditional Irish pub, and now with the students returning there will be many lively nights.

04/08/2025: A very cozy bar with good music and a relaxed atmosphere. It's nice to finally find a place where vaping is prohibited. I wonder when they realize it's the same as smoking. Thank you for providing a smoke-free space.

18/12/2025: Fantastic pub to watch a match. Pub was small and quiet with 2 TVs. Staff very friendly. They don't serve food bar crisps/nuts.

11/12/2025: A big call but probably the friendliest and one of the best pubs we have visited in Ireland. The owners are wonderful and so welcoming and the other customers were the same and just a great place for a few drinks and would be on the top of my list for any time in the area.

14/10/2025: I can honestly say I love this place. I get my cakes here years. The quality of the cakes as well as the prices are just brilliant. The service is amazing, the woman running the place are just the nicest.

05/09/2025: This was an excellent little bakery. They offered a wonderful assortment of baked goods that were baked same day. They melted in the mouth like a cloud on a beautiful Irish morning. He even gave us a tour of the kitchen which was incredible. I would absolutely recommend Unglert's Bakery to anyone who is driving through this stunning area.

If you're in Sligo it's a MUST. It felt so authentic and I was stunned by the Irish hospitality. Thanks so much to everyone, especially to Myriam :)

01/11/2025: We had such a great experience at The Fiddlers. Kathryn, the bartender was extremely nice, conversed with the four of us in our group the entire time we were there. She had suggestions for the best sights in Ireland, and when I mentioned I had been a bartender she showed my group exactly how to pour a Guinness. A treasure trove of knowledge! We enjoyed conversation with Larry, another customer at The Fiddlers. Great atmosphere and, of course, the Guinness was really good.
