18/12/2025: Avoid this pub at all costs.
The drinks are very expensive, and the beer was completely weak.
The burgers, whether you order chicken or beef, both taste equally bad.
The toilets were dirty and clogged.
Plus, it's very expensive for what they offer. There are much better places in Dublin to enjoy a good pint and decent food.
The worst experience I've had as a tourist in the city.

14/12/2025: What a lovely restaurant with super food. Clearly the chef knows what he is doing. Excellent use of spices, well presented and generous. The staff are fab, attentive, kind, nothing was too much trouble. I’m looking forward to going back already 😊👍🏻
12/12/2025: Hands down the best Indian food I have ever tried, and probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Dublin, the staff are super friendly, lovely and helpful, although the place is small, the atmosphere is fabulous and it feels very warm and cozy, the food was absolutely amazing and outstanding, I have not one bad thing to say about it, it was so good, we ended up making another reservation before leaving the restaurant.

13/09/2025: Small but super cute, went there on a late Saturday afternoon to read a book and got a place to sit, I imagine it would be very hard to find a seat at breakfast/lunchtime. The single seats are unfortunately high seats so a bit uncomfortable to stay longer then 30ish mins but I understand they're there to save on space. The coffee was nice and I got a super cute design, I also got a brownie and it was fab, not too sweet. Highly recommend

To echo many of the other statements, the fish is awesome - I’m not usually a big pickerel fan and it was amazing. Chips are mid, the service was a little on the unfriendlier side, and the price of food was quite high for what you get; however, the view of the water is nice and it’s probably your best option for dining in the area.

Greedy owners packing customers into a narrow long pub with one exit and an even smaller laneway to the side
Small bar meaning constant piles of glasses and bottles as people try to order their drinks (which you then had too battle back to your table and hope didn't spill them)
Should be a staff member/bouncer om the door with a clicker counting numbers or common sense to see when bar is full

14/08/2025: One of the better places to sit down and eat breakfast in Tallaght. I tried the traditional Irish breakfast: everything was freshly prepared and very juicy, not like a buffet where you get dry or reheated food. The coffee was strong and freshly ground, and there were many other options on the menu that I would have liked to try. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

02/03/2026: The knowledgeable proprietor listened carefully to what sort of wines we enjoyed and recommended a magnificent Bordeaux blend which paired beautifully with our food choices. And what food! Scallops, olives, pate en croute, and two perfectly prepared pasta dishes. Impeccable service in a comfortable setting, just down the street from the Smock Alley Theatre. What more could we ask for? We can't wait to return!
25/02/2026: We all had a pasta or rice dish. We all thought it was mediocre quality. It tasted of pre-cooked and re-heated (and not so well re-heated...). Maybe it was just a bad night, but I'm afraid we won't go back there.
