12/06/2025: Nice location, staff, vibes, interiors. Big place, must visit.

08/06/2025: Went after the Women's Mini Marathon for a celebratory pint. It was very busy but great atmosphere, lovely bar and staff!

18/09/2025: Was there for a conference. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The facilities were excellent.

17/09/2025: 24th April 2024 Just added three pictures of the so called cleaned seats NOT I JUST CANNOT BELIEVE THIS THE SEATS ARE STILL TOTALLY DIRTY IF THIS IS WHAT THE SHERATON HOTEL ATHLONE CALLS CLEAN GOD HELP US ALL AND IF THIS IS HOW THEY CLEAN THEIR KITCHENS BEDROOM LENNIN ECT I REALLY DONT WANT TO KNOW NOT TO MENTION THE CLEANING OF THEIR KITCHENS NO WONDER CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN ILL AFTER EATING AT THE SHERATON HOTEL ATHLONE Sheraton Athlone 15th April 2024 Attached below are pictures of your SEATS at your Harvest Caffee Athlone and the FILTHY Seating you EXPECT THE CUSTOMERS TO USE IT DOSENT SAY MUCH ABOUT YOUR HYGINE STANDARDS THROUGHOUT YOUR PROPERTY THE SHERATON HOTEL It definitely doesn’t say to the Public COME IN HERE AND HAVE FOOD OR ACCOMMODATION WITH YOU !!!! Does it ???? It’s a TOTAL A DISGRACE AND I AM ASHAMED AS AN IRISH CITIZEN WITH THE STANDARDS YOU THE SHERATON HOTELS ARE KEEPING IN MY COUNTRY IRELAND YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE A FIVE STAR BUT I WOULDN'T GIVE YOU A SINGLE STAR NOR WOULD TOURISM IRELAND AUTHORITY GIVE YOU I have brought this SERIOUS SITUATION to the ATTENTION of your STAFF Five or Six times this past year but me as a Customer Customer has been TOTALLY IGNORED ALSO LAST WEEK OTHER CUSTOMERS BROUGHT THIS TO YOUR ATTENTION SEVERAL TIMES AT THE SHERATON HOTEL YOU ARNT EVEN BOTHERED IN CLEANING THESE SEATS ( it would take less than an hour at most ) THIS ISNT THE BEST WAY TO GET ATTENTION FOR FOR PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS AT THE SHERATON HOTEL ATHLONE OR ANY OF YOUR HOTELS

31/08/2025: We had the Roast of the Day: Delicious. A large potion of mashed potatoes. Friendly atmosphere. The two of us split that and the very good vegetable soup. We were both full.

07/10/2025: We recently hosted a roundy birthday event at Lottie's for about 60 people. It was a bit of a wing and a prayer as we hadn't attended any event in their upstairs space before, but thought the room looked great. The evening could not have gone any better, thanks largely to their excellent team. The room looked super on arrival - it's perfect for this kind of celebration. Natasha and Geoff were great to deal with beforehand, and on the evening Sam was our touchstone and he was excellent. Guests spent the night raving about the venue and the food. The bbq buffet was delicious - great grilled meats and salads - and just that little bit different. They also happily took in and served up a birthday cake from elsewhere. The musician was happy out with his set up - and good music system in situ too. The adjoining covered outside terrace is a great facility, as it ensures against the party becoming disjointed between inside and outside people. The room is just a lovely size, you have it to yourself, and even the mixed toilets are a bit of craic. Couldn't recommend Lottie's highly enough for a private event.

06/09/2025: O'Hara's tap room. Went there and had really good beer. Spoke with two of the bartenders (possibly owners?) asked for a sticker (which no breweries or distillers carry in Ireland) and received a free t shirt instead. Great place good people!

19/10/2025: It's like being in India. The all-you-can-eat menu is 20 euros.

05/10/2025: The South Indian buffet had a good variety of dishes, and I really enjoyed the malabar biriyani. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definitely one of the best places for South Indian food in town. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic flavors!"

04/10/2025: Shoutout to the staff working during Storm Amy on Friday aftn.🤩 I was working in a Residential Care Home with residents who have eating issues and require their food blended to a paste. The storm took our power very early in the afternoon , b⁴ we had prepped their meals. *The staff at Supermacs were unbelievably capable, taking the time to blend meals with soup & blitz them for me, then helped carry the order out to the car for me. All our Care Home staff were just so grateful & residents enjoyed their unexpected Takeaway meal 😀

19/08/2025: What a gem! Go downstairs into the gorgeous space and be treated like royalty by the gracious staff. I loved my lunch here -- the arancini was the best I've ever had. I tried my friend's mushroom polenta appetizer as well, which was also tasty.

18/09/2025: We found Grapevine after a long walk. The warm colours of the cafe bar were welcoming. Inside, there was a choice of cafe style on the lower for and a stylish upper deck for a full meal experience. The four of us loved it and would go again.

15/07/2025: Called in for Coffee and a Bar of Chocolate when I stopped in Salthill. Very reasonable priced. The sky was so low and visibility bad for driving just needed some coffee. Didn't know food was available

25/10/2025: The staff are very friendly but the timing of service and actual food was very mediocre. Vol Au Vant was cold and the Honey Buffalo wings were poor - maybe there are some people who enjoy these but probably offer regular buffalo wings versus sweet buffalo sauce and sweet BBQ sauce options? Prices here are not comparable to quality but maybe just due to how busy it was but don’t seat as many tables if the kitchen/service is unable to keep up. Majority of food (especially the wings) tastes frozen so was just disappointing here considering the prices also. Would genuinely say the frozen chips were the best part of the meal. Staff never to be seen again after dropping the food off - would avoid.
