The best restaurants

22/02/2025: Phenomenal find !!We visited Sweet Dreams cafe today and had a such wonderful experience. It has a warm, homely feel ,with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. There are many kinds of desserts and pastries, and also coffee as well. I'm a huge fun of their cheesecake with peaches and the pistachio cookies is also highly recommended. The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. It's one of those places where you can tell they truly care. Just go, you won't be disappointed!

23/03/2025: One of my favourite places in town. Great coffee, selection of alt milks, lovely sweet treats including vegan and gluten free options. And of course their award winning condiments are top notch! 🤤 Love the decor and the relaxed atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and it’s dog friendly here too.

30/01/2025: My weekend starts every week with a cup of oat milk latte in Rivesci and a treat. I was wandering around Clonmel, searching for that good cup of coffee for some time now and i was very pleased to find this little gem of the coffee brewing tradition in the Irishtown across the church. It was if i can say a love at the first sip, the oat milk latte i am ordering there is the next level, it has the perfect taste for me and consistency. The treats are very delightful, as i understood they were picked by the owners themselves after tasting each one in particular. It is not just a coffee shop where you can get a cup on the go, it is a cosy, warm place where you can take a seat at the window and see the world going by. The time is stopping there for a second, letting you enjoy every moment with your favourite drink. The staff is awesome, always pretty and smiling, making you feel welcome every time you go. The shop has a lot of aditional treats starting from the tasty variety of the Rivesci own coffee brews to others more different like kombucha and juices. I found myself buying also some of they local hand made produced sauces, i especially love the Cashew Chili Crush while my wife is into Chilli Catsup. Those are made on the spot by the owners of the coffee shop as Declan being a Michelin star trained Chef. I put the sauces on the home made burgers, pizza, even in the salads, so, i can tell Rivesci now is a regular shopping destination as well, not just a place to drink my favourite coffee . I am thankful to the owners and staff for keeping the atmosphere "like at home" and wish them all the best and many happy customers. P.S: the shop is pet friendly, they even have a wall with the photos of the dogs coming in with the owners and eating some treats. Awesome place, rocommend!

02/04/2025: We visited Farmer Browns to watch the most recent Irish Women’s Six Nations match. We had to wait 30+ minutes to be brought a menu despite asking for them upon arrival. Despite asking for the match to be played on at least one screen, they turned it off after 50 minutes to play the build up for an FA cup game on every screen. There were almost no people inside so it didn’t feel unreasonable to expect them to keep the rugby on one screen

05/01/2025: Customer service is really shitty. You get rejected on the entrance, when you’re not in your late 40’s and wear expensive brands.

22/04/2025: Got a gluten free Birthday cake from O'Carroll's cakes in Killarney. What can I say, both the presentation & taste of the cake was absolutely fantastic. Everybody was so happy with it. Thank you Gary.

29/04/2025: Next level food. Amazing flavour, quality, service and atmosphere. An absolute feast for the tastebuds and the eyes, its truly worth every single dime spent. Something out of the box, not your ‘same old’ menu options, for sure. Highly recommended - especially for special occasions. Love it!

25/04/2025: Fabulous place to eat. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys fine dining. Food was absolutely divine and there was such a homely feel to the place. The staff were wonderful, our waitress Ale was so lovely and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will be back again.

20/02/2025: went in on my own for lunch. Place was not busy. They had a great selection of specials written up on the blackboard. The meal was nice 3 potatoes(mash, fries, roast), 3 veg and nice chicken(southern fried) Place was clean service prompt and pleasant. I could have left about 25% on the plate but didn't. Maybe portions depend on how busy they are? Only negative was they had dial Eireann on the TV at the counter. Anyway a positive experience and I left thinking I need to leave a good review.

16/04/2025: Very good atmosphere, top-notch fish and chips! and an excellent chocolate ganache dessert! the servers are very cheerful and fast despite the crowd. We had a great evening in this pub.

05/04/2025: What a gem of a hotel. A first for us to be greeted with a welcome complimentary cuppa and scones . Cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were A1 . The buffet spread for the breakfast was exceptional with such an amazing choice . The cuisine was superb and I was even given a printed recipe for the mouth watering brown bread.Location and views were stunning . Not enough stars to rate this unique haven.

30/03/2025: The food was so unreal!!! I did not expect the toast/sandwhich to taste this good!! It was literally perfect! The best sandwich i’ve ever had my life. Not to mention, the service was amazingly. I unknowingly tried to order a couple of minutes before closing and instead of rejecting me, they told me that they could still make my sandwich. 10/10! will 100% come here again
