27/03/2025: I never knew sausage rolls had such variety

19/03/2025: Nothing available on the menu Arrived on Sunday at 2pm. I was given a menu and we both picked sandwiches. 10 mins later the waitress said “oh sorry we gave you the wrong menu. There’s no sandwiches available.” I then picked roast beef and was told there was “none left.” The menu is awful and 90% seafood which I’m allergic to so we had very little to choose from. I got my son chips as he was starving. The chips were disgusting. We won’t be back.

15/08/2025: Very good, waiter was fair sound. Price reasonable for what you get and where you are can't fault it at all lads

29/05/2025: Just finished dinner in Bunratty Manor. The restraunt is lovely and the staff very friendly and personable. Noel waited on us today, he was attentive and funny but gave us our space. We'll be back for sure based on his service. The food was delicious, although we were stuffed we cleared every plate.

17/12/2025: We went, cuz a friend recommended us and was really good. The coffee was delicious, difficult to find a good one (coffee) here in Galway. And the food was delicious and generous quantities!! The stuff was friendly and helpful, the place was really busy at that time… We will come back!! ✨

09/12/2025: We Had lunch here today, ordered Turkey sandwich on rye bread with side of chips, my partner had burger with salad and chips...Turkey was fried , oil clearly visible and meat was chewy and tasteless, my partner's burger was bland, neither justified price charged.The coffees were good but at €4.10.each totally overpriced. Ate here on number of occasions in past, always loved it...today was not a good experience, will not be returning, staff disinterested, no atmosphere whatsover. A pity, as I always loved this spot!

28/02/2026: Party of three attending for breakfast. 2 x full Irish 1 x granola 1 x Americano 2 x tea 1 x orange cheese cake. Food was warm. Not hot. Sausages were just sausage. Advertised as pork and leak but no distinct flavour. The rashers were hard to chew. Granola portion very small for price of €9.50 and could do with more Greek yogurt. Service was okay. But had to ask for condiments constant like marmalade, sauces , toast offering. Cutlery Breakfast tea more expensive at €4.70 with coffee at €4.60. Cake was soggy and stodgy Total bill €69 When asked for the bill which once presented you scan and pay the automatic tip is 20% and the lowest on the screen as an option is 15%. You do have a custom button but appears cheeky when you scan the bill.

23/01/2026: First went to conny doolans the first week it opened ,the bar was won in Guinness competition ,the winner was a Canadian lad, who ran the bar with his partner ,I have picture s of in side the bar ,will post later

07/07/2025: Came here recently for dinner based on word of mouth recommendations. Staff were friendly, and the food and drink tasted good. Choice was a little limited for non-meat eaters though.

07/11/2025: Great choice of food, great for lunches, plenty of parking outside. Good value lunch options However, they have those self check out booths!! Bring back the staff!!!

04/03/2026: Pregames before (and after) the most recent Athlone Town AFC game, Speedy and staff couldn’t have been lovelier! Everything I’d hoped it’d be. Well worth the trip from the States. Until next time…

10/10/2025: Maldron Hotel Oranmore has a lovely vibe. Very clean, friendly and competitively priced. Busy bar/cafe very well managed. Restaurant well managed too with a great offering. Great team spirit all round. The restaurant manager Ann has a wealth of experience, and a pep in her step with warmth and a genuine interest in staff and guests. From arrival to departure we felt very welcomed. Kudos to the management and staff for all your hard work. We'll definitely be back..!
