18/09/2025: We found Grapevine after a long walk. The warm colours of the cafe bar were welcoming. Inside, there was a choice of cafe style on the lower for and a stylish upper deck for a full meal experience. The four of us loved it and would go again.

25/10/2025: The staff are very friendly but the timing of service and actual food was very mediocre. Vol Au Vant was cold and the Honey Buffalo wings were poor - maybe there are some people who enjoy these but probably offer regular buffalo wings versus sweet buffalo sauce and sweet BBQ sauce options? Prices here are not comparable to quality but maybe just due to how busy it was but don’t seat as many tables if the kitchen/service is unable to keep up. Majority of food (especially the wings) tastes frozen so was just disappointing here considering the prices also. Would genuinely say the frozen chips were the best part of the meal. Staff never to be seen again after dropping the food off - would avoid.

19/10/2025: Had dinner here last night with some friends and it was one of the best meals out I had in a long time. The starters in particular were fantastic. We shared a number of them between us and they were superb. I'll certainly be back.

18/10/2025: Having been to 50 Cornmarket three times now (the first 3 of many) I can confidently say that Anne and Dave really know how to create a wonderful dining experience. The front of house team do a fantastic job of making you feel at ease and welcomed, and the food has been interesting, delicious and well presented on every visit. The menu changes seasonally, so it’s definitely worth revisiting if you haven’t been in a while, yet there are some dishes which I hope never leave... Myself and my girlfriend and both chefs and, while neither of us particularly like going to the same place twice (field research etc…) Cornmarket is different. A dish I find myself craving periodically is the pickled mussels on charred sourdough. It’s perfect simplicity, the flavours and textures are absolutely addicting and I would order it every time it’s on the menu. They also treat their vegetables with just as much care as their meat so expect the vegetarian option to be vibrant, delicious and certainly not an afterthought. Cornmarket is a really special little restaurant and one which I will certainly be going back to.

16/09/2025: This Pub is amazing! Stopped in for a quick pint and ended up back the next day for live music. Staff was super friendly and so were the locals. Definitely make this a stop when in the area.

The food was delicious, fresh, and exactly what I was craving. On top of that, the delivery was super fast, which made everything even better. I’ll definitely be ordering again and recommending them to my friends. Keep up the amazing work!

28/10/2025: Delivery took over two hours. When we rang after an hour and twenty minutes for an update we were told food left kitchen but one Delivery driver with several orders. Food was cold when it got here and restaurant just stopped answering the phone when after 2 hours, we had lost confidence if it would even arrive. We sent a follow-up email the next day with still no response. Not sure I can recommend
