11/06/2026: Glaushaus is very handy for Tallaght hospital or the Reeves centre. The rooms are clean with TV and tea making facilities. Ate in the bar and the food was inedible. Service was very poor and despite our 2 dishes uneaten we were not even asked if everything was ok.

01/06/2026: Our room was not cleaned, when we mentioned this they didn't believe us, so they came up to check, of course they apologized afterwards and we got a new room, but still. We had breakfast packed because our plane left early, but we shouldn't have because it was pretty poor (water, yogurt, dry oat bars, dry bread, butter).

22/11/2025: Great bar, friendly and attentive staff. It's nice and comfortable whilst relatively formal but without being stuck up.

12/07/2025: Enes makes a wonderful cocktail. Watching him prepare each drink is truly enjoyable as well. You can tell he takes pride in his craft and takes his time ensuring quality regardless of how busy he is.

07/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The food was absolutely outstanding, everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was equally excellent, very friendly, attentive, and professional. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to coming back again!

14/05/2026: If zero stars was an option, I would give zero stars. The waitress was rude and rushed us, and after thirty seconds of being seated she asked us if we were ready to order. After asking for another few minutes, she waited about 30 seconds before asking again. After 20 minutes of waiting she took our order, before forgetting my drink. The pizzas arrived at least five minutes apart, and were close to raw. My Hawaiian pizza could have been rung out with the amount of unidentified juice on top. There was a sickly amount of raw cheese. I would consider it inedible.

31/05/2026: Scalding hot coffee. Kids burnt chips , double dipped. Breakfast was stone cold, bread had a bad taste from It . Staff very inexperienced, slow as a wet week. not clued in at all. First and last time unfortunately.

30/05/2026: A grand spot altogether. We had dinner outside at a large covered picnic table. The food was good and there’s loads of choice on the menu. Great space outside for kids to run around.

03/06/2026: My wife and I had the pleasure of hosting 150 people for our daughter's wedding earlier this May. Everything was perfect, even the weather. We had The ceremony outdoors on the lawn, drinks in the manor house and courtyard, and then the reception in a marquee on the back lawn. It was absolutely exquisite. The only thing better than the venue were the people who worked at the Carton House. The wedding could not have been more perfect and we thank everyone for all their hard work. David

03/06/2026: Stunning hotel grounds and setup.. Room was filthy with pubic hairs in bathroom, stains on the bed! Spa jacuzzi was broken, pool water freezing, water dripping from the roof and the place was dirty… Really not good enough.. Management don’t reply back to emails and really couldn’t care less about customer feedback… Not good enough for the price charged

30/07/2025: Gorgeous restaurant, we just had pizzas and drinks at the bar which were so delicious. I highly recommended the margarita.

29/07/2025: Lovely place, great cocktails. Pizzas delicious, would steer clear of the ravioli. Two of our party had it and both didn’t rate it. Tasteless and more like a soup broth with a bit of pasta thrown in.

03/05/2026: The hotel's location and rooms are okay. It's an old building with a corresponding ambiance. Breakfast was reminiscent of a school trip, and the service at dinner was disastrous. A wait of almost two hours is far too long under any circumstances. A real shame.

19/04/2026: We had the room with sea view. There is a charger for EV nearby and plenty of parking in front which is part of the port. The place is perfect for us. Since we checked in on Saturday afternoon and their restaurant is closed on Sundays, they provided us some scones with butter and jam upon arrival. There were cookies too. The room was spacious, warm, and clean. Just note that you might hear the neighbouring room. Smooth stay and right at the heart of the town.

08/06/2026: What can I say? A pub is a pub and wants to be experienced as a pub. That's how it is, here too.

26/06/2025: I went to this shop today and it was closed – it had just shut 10 minutes earlier and they were cleaning up. Sweetie, her name, saw me waiting outside and noticed I looked a bit disappointed. It’s my anniversary today – mine and my wife’s – and we really wanted to buy a cake. Sweetie kindly opened the door and let me in to buy one. As a customer, I felt truly valued – the service was 10 out of 10. I really appreciate what she did, and I hope the managers see this review and thank her personally
