The best restaurants

13/06/2026: Witnessed Manager giving out to bartenders and employees in front of customers. Guys doing their best but management just being disrespectful Horrible atmosphere God bless to staff. Hold strong 💪

01/06/2026: The place is ok, the Guinness is okay, and the service was good as well. My wife’s drinks were amazing, and the place is pet friendly. However, we were charged a 12.5% service fee just for using the terrace during summer (table for two). The menu says the service charge only applies to tables with more than 5 people, but when we asked the waiter, he called the manager, who said the fee applies to anyone sitting on the terrace (!?!?). Overall, the place is nice, the beer is good, and the cocktails look great, but be aware of the 12.5% service charge for apparently no reason.

13/06/2026: We went for dinner. The staff were excellent. Food was good. Access for people with mobility issues could be a challenging. How ever there may be other dinning areas that might be accessible.

12/06/2026: We recently stayed a night in the O'Connell room at Kinnitty, and it was GORGEOUS. My husband and I agreed that it was the nicest hotel room that either of us have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The dungeon bar was cozy for a few pints before dinner, the grounds were lovely to walk around, and dinner in the dungeon bar was also great. The only downside was there was a wedding going on just outside of our room, but I had earplugs, so it wasn't much of an issue. We also were served a good breakfast the next morning before departing. We were even lucky enough to have Conor, the hotel manager, sit with us for a bit in the evening and tell us stories about the hotel. 10/10, would stay again.

04/06/2026: The very nice and attentive service served us a very tasty Buffalo Bunger and Salmon Hash.

20/04/2026: What a delight! Both the Café itself and the food. It was a pleasure to visit again, the food was excellent, the staff were amazing and the Sunday lunch was a treat for a tired passer by. With options for changes of the meals to make them suitable for various diets, large portions and accompanied with excellent coffee, this place is well worth a trip on its own.

21/04/2026: Jaipur is the best Indian restaurant. We tried many, but we keep going back to Jaipur for the past 13 years. Whether we get takeaway or we book a table for a night out, the food is always delicious and the service impeccable.

06/05/2026: We had a very nice dinner here at Bujolle Bistro, great food and nice atmosphere. The sea bass was really nice.

16/03/2026: Class spot! Stopped off for food and a couple of pints with our dog. We had the egg mayo salad and the chowder and it was perfection. Pints were unreal and being able to eat and drink with our dog with us was fantastic. Staff were all lovely and very welcoming. Don’t miss this little gem.

04/05/2026: Would highly recommended anyone going into Galway centre should go to Darcy’s Bar. Amazing atmosphere and staff are wonderful! Had the best time, will be coming back very soon and this place will be the first place I go!!! From England Kent.

09/06/2026: Beautiful cafe in a wonderful setting... we had coffee, cakes and our dog had her very own puppacino all while sitting under the trees. Lovely staff also - highly recommended!

29/03/2026: I sometimes get a flat white with oat milk in these kind of forest-walk places, and often I'm underwhelmed. But this place was surprisingly good!

20/04/2026: Me and 3 other had dinner here last night..we originally went into the place next door only to find out it was booked out so we tried out here then a little disappointed but that didn't last long as when the starters came out we all knew that this place had something about it ... everyone loved it then the mains then the desserts ... absolutely beautiful food cooked to perfection... we had drinks and tea and coffee also bill was 170 euro between us all which considering all we had was good value in my opinion... also the girl that served us sorry can't remember her name but had black hair and was irish was absolutely lovely...

21/03/2026: We met for lunch. The food was excellent, cooked fresh and served with a smile. The staff were lovely; very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

16/03/2026: Very disappointed with our meal here. After getting a recommendation, we decided to have Sunday lunch here. We were told that no tables were available until 16:30, so we booked for then. We duly turned up at that time,and they tried to seat us in the wrong part. After pointing this out, we were taken to find a virtually empty restaurant. So, why having to wait until 16:30 for lunch? The young staff ignored us for a while until we called one of them over. We chose the Sunday roast, which was a very limited menu (2 starters, 4 mains, 2 desserts). We ordered, only to be told that they had run out of lamb. Have you been around Donegal? What is there a lot of? Sheep! The chowder was rather thin and the vegetable soup uninspiring. The mains were OK (just), although the Yorkshire puddings looked like Aunt Bessie's and were tepid. I chose the crumble for dessert and asked for it, and the custard, to be very hot. So, of course, when it arrived it was stone cold (not even warm). That got sent back... Overall - very poor quality and we won't be returning.

09/05/2026: Since leaving San Francisco in '22 I've been looking for a good taco and burrito. The wait is over!!!! I can't say enough great things about this place, the staff, and the FOOD. It's exceptional. Need a Mexican food fix, this place is it. Get the mango salsa, too... it's out of this world.

07/05/2026: I was there last Friday with the my nephew we do try get there for most weekends it does be great craic, good people and a good atmosphere. However someone needs to have a word with that Tommy fella at the door. It’s every week someone says something about him. My nephew is 18 he got in with me. But the girls in front of us were 20 and they weren’t aloud in.

19/04/2026: Its basic but what do u want? €6.50 snack box. Chips were salty but definitely frozen. Thigh looked suspiciously dark even for dark meat. Overall a quick easy solution if you get the munchies. Don't excpect miracles but considering what it is hits the spot. Very polite man who took my order
