17/07/2025: We coming here for years .years ago, there was a B B UP STAIRS OVER THE PUB .GREAT TIMES THEN

16/06/2026: My order wasn’t on screen anymore so I assumed it was ready, however, after waiting 10 minutes, my number still wasn’t called. When I finally asked what I’m waiting on, they said they had everything else except one mini fillet and the next one was gonna be in 10 minutes. Only when I said I had a bus to take did a second employee ask if I wanted something else for it. I would’ve gone without that one piece if I was given back the time, because I wasn’t told anything. I missed the bus. I appreciate the second employee that offered to give me a different piece of chicken instead but that first employee didn’t seem to mind that he had me waiting for nothing, despite all the times on his screen being only a minute or two. There were no other orders for about half the time I waited, and not once did he even consider letting me know. I had waited 10 minutes, he was planning to let me wait at least 10 more without saying anything. Greatly disappointing as I understand most staff are hardworking and try their best. I hope there isn’t a repeat of this.

19/11/2025: The music is too loud, the seating is subpar, the patrons are often obnoxious. The best part about it is the kind staff, and the cool art around the place. But that cannot save this place from bad clientele. Oh, and the drinks are too expensive.

13/05/2026: Delicious food. We went two days in a row, had different foods each time, and everything was delicious! They have great options for gluten free GF, too. Highly recommend!

13/05/2026: A busy restaurant, and therefore perhaps a bit overcrowded inside. But I wasn't bothered by other guests. I had the sirloin steak, which was fine. The accompanying vegetables didn't appeal to me as much, but that is a matter of personal taste. In short, the restaurant is worth a visit.

12/04/2026: Perfect location to walk around Dublin to restaurants and sightseeing.

09/04/2026: A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent as were the complimentary cocktails! I would definitely stay here again.

13/11/2025: First visit and was absolutely delighted with the genuinely friendly service. Very relaxed atmosphere too. Food was great except the fish was quite bland, only complaint. Cocktails 🤪!! just to enjoyable, 😁 so again, really nice host and staff, best we've came across for quite a while, so would definitely recommend🍸🍹🍷🍺🥧

02/11/2025: Please update your menu online to reflect actual menu presented. All I was going to order having looked prior to going was not listed on the night I was there. Was very disappointed. What I had in the end was fine however.

31/05/2026: Stunning location, beautiful walks surrounding the house. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the food at breakfast was beautiful.

10/06/2026: We were warmly welcomed and greeted. We spent a week at Rolf's Countryhouse and felt completely at home. The room was lovely and equipped with everything we needed. The property is very quiet, so there was absolutely no noise – pure relaxation. Breakfast was perfect. Dinner was also fantastic. In short: we will definitely come back again. 14/05/2026: Popped into danollas yesterday as had a good appetite and I decided to try the “ best fish and chips” in castlebar going by what i have heard .. I opted for the large cod and chips and was disappointed with the quality and portion size on the plate and left there feeling hard done by and not even full up . At € 17.00 for this substandard meal I can only say I will not be returning if I’m ever in the vicinity again and I’m even more perflexed to wonder who awarded them this award , won’t be reccomending to others

16/04/2026: Fatal. We went on a 10-day trip to Ireland and had our farewell meal at this restaurant. The worst food of the whole trip. Two days earlier, we’d bought the same chicken as the breaded chicken dish at Lidl. The Bolognese tasted as though it had been microwaved at least twice. Definitely not to be recommended! Please look for another place if possible. Make a big circle around this restaurant.

16/04/2026: The food wasn't very good; it tasted like frozen food. Every piece of meat looked exactly the same, as if you'd bought it straight from Lidl. The food was also very dry overall. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was quite nice.

27/04/2026: Wonderful place.. Nice Food and welcoming staff unlike 'MIMZ' restaurant where they don't even provide salads or dips for take away or delivery orders..Taste of Kashmir actually provides salad and 2 dips with extra pickle chillies and their peri peri chicken is so tasty

25/04/2026: Great food and staff! We ate here 10 years ago on our first trip to Dublin and we were so pleased to see it doing great. We were hesitant to return due to bad reviews we found on line- but those reviews had no reflection on the place. The pub was clean, had plenty of friendly and attentive servers. The Pints were cold, the food was delicious and the service was great. The pub was backed and the workers were spot on. A full house of happy people! The curry was delish, and the burger was worth it!

15/05/2026: My travel guide book said Dinky's fish and chips were the best in Ireland, and after having had this meal on a number of occasions since, I can only wholeheartedly agree. The coating was crisp, the fish perfectly fried (not overcooked), and the chips were equally good. Yummy!
