03/08/2025: Lovely & friendly restaurant. Visited on a Bank holiday Sunday morning. It’s was busy, the young male staff member was full of chat, took the order as requested and food arrived with in a few minutes .
Will call again for breakfast when passing through Mitchelstown.
Food was also very nice.
13/07/2025: A regular meal stop whenever l am passing.
The food is always excellent and the service by the staff is equally good.

Margaret and the staff are efficient and very friendly.
They do lovely gluten free food and bake their own gluten free bread too. It can be really busy at time but that's because it's a great spot to eat and good value, family friendly too.

The place is wonderful, very cozy, the price is wonderful, and let's talk about the food. The food is fresh, high quality, in the right portion. The cake is moist and not too sweet. I loved the orange cake. The service is very fast, the food is ready very quickly. The iced tea is wonderful. It couldn't be more than 10/10. Perfection.

05/09/2025: Very poor service. They start packing up the bar about a half an hour early. Regulars continue to get served, otherwise you're out of luck. Would not recommend.

19/10/2025: Wonderful welcoming hotel with excellent staff. It is in a great location with good connections to the city centre and elsewhere. The breakfast was delicious and we spent a few nights in the bar which had a great atmosphere and an excellent choice of food and drink.
18/10/2025: A quick stay - only one night. Friendly welcome at the front desk. Free car parking. And breakfast buffet is excellent. Really good value for money. Best
