01/08/2025: Exceptionally rude barman who yelled at my father in law to "relax", while beating his hand repitedly on the bar, when my father in law calmy asked to be served when ignored at a busy bar. Was bizarre and aggressive and as someone who's just moved to the area would not be coming back to what was a nice looking pub.

04/09/2025: Elite place, with great prices for Dublin. Jamie and Li do a wonderful job here, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. Warm hospitality, and a great selection of merchandise as well as their drinks. Will make it a priority the next time we visit. Thank you guys!

03/09/2025: What can I say if you're into folk and Irish traditional music this is the place located on clanbrassil street Dublin it's tops for music. And the atmosphere is great too friendly staff and great Guinness. You won't be disappointed ..👍👍👍👍👍

12/10/2025: Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price I stayed at Pure Magic Achill Island for 2 nights, and it was the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. We chose it based on the good online reviews and clean photos, and paid €270 just for the room. However, upon arrival, I was completely shocked. The room was not clean — there was hair all over the bed, and the bed linen clearly hadn’t been freshly changed. When I complained, I was offered another room with a double bed, single bed, and bunk beds for two of us and it was even worse. The room smelled like an old college hostel and had a tiny bathroom roughly partitioned with hardboard. When I asked for a refund to find another place, they refused, leaving me no choice but to stay in the first room. The shower water didn’t drain properly, the toilet wobbled when sitting on it, and even the towel was jammed into the sink. The whole building was old, dirty, and poorly maintained. Overall, it was a total nightmare. Definitely not worth the money and I do not recommend this place at all.

21/09/2025: Pure Magic is a place close to my heart. I’ve stayed here many times, and it never disappoints. Nestled at the foot of Slievemore Mountain, it’s perfect for a peaceful, tranquil break. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and easy-going. The food is excellent—highlights for me are the lasagne, which is a special, the warming seafood chowder, and the decadent white chocolate crème brûlée. Breakfast is just as good, with perfectly poached eggs and a great balance of healthy bites and hearty indulgence. Keel Beach is a short cycle or drive away, perfect for a morning dip in the Atlantic. From the property, you can also enjoy walks to an impressive megalithic site and the Deserted Famine Village—great hikes without being too strenuous. I can’t recommend this place enough.

29/10/2025: Calzone was absolutely beautiful credits to the chef. Employees are really welcoming and friendly. Service is fast. All round brilliant restaurant

18/10/2025: I like the strawberry and chocolate ice cream because it isn't too sweet or artificial. The ice cream at Bel Gelato is better than the majority of the gelaterias in Italy.

23/09/2025: Bel Gelato in Dalkey is, without a doubt, the best ice cream in Ireland — truly Italian-style and full of authentic flavor. My personal favorites are the pistachio, which is rich and nutty, and the salted caramel, which instantly reminds me of the *dulce de leche* I grew up loving in Uruguay. The service is always warm and welcoming, whether from the friendly staff or the owner himself, and the place is usually busy — a clear sign of its excellent quality. One of the best parts is making the cycle from Dublin down to Dalkey along the dedicated bike lanes and rewarding yourself at the end with an amazing gelato. It’s the perfect combination of exercise, scenery, and indulgence. Highly recommended!

06/10/2025: Absolutely the best Chinese restaurant in Cork — hands down! Every dish is packed with authentic flavour, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced seasoning. The portions are generous, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick even when it’s busy. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeaway, the quality is consistently amazing. My personal favourites are the crispy chicken and the fried rice — both incredible! I adore their 3in1s also (with extra salt with my takeaway) If you’re looking for real, delicious Chinese food in Cork, this place is unbeatable.

15/07/2025: Called in for Coffee and a Bar of Chocolate when I stopped in Salthill. Very reasonable priced. The sky was so low and visibility bad for driving just needed some coffee. Didn't know food was available

12/10/2025: Long wait for food and quite pricey.

12/10/2025: We went to this restaurant and placed our order, but after waiting 40 minutes, we had to ask about our food — only to be told they didn’t have what we had ordered. No one had bothered to inform us earlier. They said they would call the manager, but the manager never came to our table. In the end, I had to go over myself just to ask how much the drinks were, and they simply said, “Yeah, the order was cancelled.” I find it unacceptable for a restaurant to let customers — especially families with a child — wait that long, only to be told there’s no food available. The lack of communication and responsibility from the staff and management was shocking. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.

12/10/2025: Honestly one of the best and refreshing menu set by the owners. A must go place when in Tramore/ Waterford. Can dine in or takeaway. The flavours are amazing and very fresh ingredients used.

25/10/2025: Had lunch there today. Shocking food, I got their Smash burger, it cost almost 20euro and was a meagre showing with just a half serving of chips. Honestly you'd get a better feed in McDonald's.

14/09/2025: Good buzz around the place. I got the ham and sweetcorn pizza from the shack (pls don’t judge me aha) it was A1. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I knocked over my drink and before I could react there was a young chap there to clean it up. I can’t remember his name but he was ginger. There was live music on which created a lively atmosphere on the night. I will be back

31/08/2025: This was such a surprise of a place. We were here for day 2 of my friends wedding and wow. Just wow. From the outside it looked like a small little place but that's just where it ended. Walk through those doors and be super surprised. The place is massive and has a really lovely farden out the back. A brass band was playing and it was just brilliant. There is a wood fired pizza place in the seated area that leads to the garden and I've never tasted food as good. I was a bit iffy about their garlic dip because it was yellow instead of the usual white sauce! Dont let it put you off because it was absolutely gorgeous and definitelyhomemade. My hubby says that the Guinness is top-notch and they looked so creamy I was nearly tempted myself! The place was packed and yet there still didn't seem like much of a wait at the bar to be served. Overall this is a fantastic place and if we're ever in the tramore area again we'll definitely go back again.

23/08/2025: A charming pub with a lovely musical atmosphere in the village of Killala. We enjoyed a pint of Guinness, accompanied by breaded scampi and a stew floating in carrots. The dishes are simple and not particularly exciting, but there's nothing better in the area, so we considered ourselves lucky to find a table, considering it was a late July evening.

21/08/2025: We had the dish of the day, Roast Beef. The Beef was dry and tough. The vegetables weren't fresh cooked and without any taste. The best of the meal were the chips.....
