The best restaurants

12/04/2025: This was the third time I have gotten food from this Indian restaurant, The first time was by delivery and they left a main course. The second time we drove down and ordered . They told us fifteen. Mins and forgot our order when there were others getting their orders . The third time the order was again late and then the chef didn't know if it was lamb or chicken which was cooked.

16/03/2025: I've been here a couple of times and never had a bad experience. Food top notch and service is always very attentive! By the way, the best baked cheesecake I've had.

21/03/2025: A wonderful atmospheric place. The interior is in Japanese style, beautiful and interesting. Very large portions, we couldn't finish them. The staff is welcoming, smiling and friendly. The food served is amazing! The only thing, in my opinion, is the size of the rolls, for example, the “rainbow roll”. They are very large and do not fit in the mouth, you have to bite them, but this is not good, it is better when the roll can be eaten in one go.

30/03/2025: Merry's is a gem of a pub and restaurant. Great staff great, atmosphere and amazing food. Huge range of local and craft beers - my favourite being blue moon.

08/02/2025: We stayed in Bloomfield House hotel recently for 4 nights as we had lost power for 1 week due to Storm Éowyn. We are a family of 6 and we had two interconnecting rooms which were fabulous. We had a wonderful experience and could not find fault with the rooms, the food or the staff. We had a brilliant stay and it is a credit to the owners and everyone who works there. Would definitely stay again.

19/03/2025: I have messaged this business privately but they chose to not get back to me and I want to warn people incase the same thing happens to them. I was appalled by how my partner was treated at an event here last weekend. Despite purchasing tickets in advance and being loyal customers who dine here regularly, my partner was refused entry with no valid reason. He left feeling embarrassed and humiliated in front of his friends. If there was supposedly an issue, why weren’t we informed on any occasion we've dined and had drinks here in the past? Instead, they chose to spring this on him at the door, which was completely unfair and unprofessional. This in turn making our friends have no choice but to leave, 6 tickets gone to waste with no reimbursement is ridiculous. I’m incredibly disappointed at how a local business we really enjoyed could treat my partner like this with no valid reason. I won't be so quick to recommend to anyone in future.

25/03/2025: Came with friends for breakfast and I know it could be annoying to get customers with lots of bags (we just came back from a trip) but the place was empty so plenty of room and it shouldn’t have been a problem, anyway the waiter was really cocky both when we asked for a table (nobody in reception and we waited for it but since nobody came in we had to ask at the bar) and specially when he took our order Food and price were ok and at least the rest of the staff, the people who brought our food, were all super nice. However I was shocked when I went to the bathroom and realised there’s a camera above the urinals and, not only that, one of the toilets was out of place (attaching photo) like literally sideways in the cubicle, unbelievable. We’ll never be back in any Hyde bar or hotel

17/03/2025: Absolutely stunning location. Food is a tad expensive but I think well worth it. They’ve a great selection of cocktails aswell. I would definitely say if you want to splash the cash The Hyde is definitely worth it. Staff are lovely aswell 🫶
