20/12/2025: Myself & a friend stayed there 18/12/2025.. We were there to see an audience with Steven Gerrard..Had a meal first, the staff were great, very helpful & friendly.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location..

13/12/2025: I had a wonderful time at the Gleneagle. The staff are friendly, the venue is well organised, and the entertainment is world class. The sausages were delicious.

30/08/2025: Don't do food no live music only back ground music great bar for a chat and the crack lovely staff family run pub well worth a visit

27/09/2025: This isn't my first time ordering here - it's a top sushi place, the sushi rolls are delicious, big portions compared to other restaurants, definitely recommend it.

19/06/2025: The pints are the creamiest I’ve ever tasted and the long hallways are decorated with history. Some really nice characters in there early doors. British lad named Nathan surely knows his away around the pool table, him and his pal Mark gave us a right licking!

22/12/2025: Great spot! My friends Martin, Dylan and The Bruno introduced it to me a few months ago and what a pleasant surprise it was, if you are enjoying a few pints of Smithwicks you can enjoy a Clems kids meal for a cheap price and lots other options. The owner Paul is a classy traditional man who is a gentleman to deal with. Would recommend to any passerby and hoping they extend the pub or turn it into a franchise. Toilets are lovely aswell.

12/07/2025: I thought McKevers had it nailed for unique atmosphere until I was introduced to Clems! "It bet all" Perfect size. Perfect service. Brillo!

11/03/2026: Easy inexpensive parking spaces right behind the GPO. Cash, coins, cards and NFC payments are accepted at the machine. Just be careful the entry and exit ways are quite narrow which are not suitable for bigger vehicles. My Toyota Corolla fitted right in though.

05/02/2026: Great coffee but too many rules comes across cranky - Cash only Laptops only on high tables No dogs inside No ceramic cups on bench outside No ceramic cups 30 mins before close Only clean keep cups (no exceptions) Life’s too short! Compare with Shoe Lane close by. Dogs welcome, cash or card, ceramic cups outside, will clean used keep cup, lap top users welcome anywhere.

20/01/2026: The most fabulous coffee in Dun Laoghaire, probably the whole Southside! Fabulous gourmet sandwiches and soup also. Have been there many times and it’s always an absolutely divine experience. Highly recommended!

11/03/2026: Stopped off for lunch. Fronts onto the sea so had the chowder. Very disappointing - not chowder essentially. More potato, carrot & (oddly) sweetcorn mixed with some fish that’s chopped so small as to be indiscernible. Filler type stuff.

05/03/2026: Wow!! ,Where do I start .? A stunning relaxing peaceful haven to unwind - & reflect in magnificent surroundings with nature abounding and stunning views. The food is superb and the staff out best anywhere I’ve been . A1 experience all round .

09/10/2025: McMunns restaurant was our favourite restaurant on our Ireland trip! The food was sensational, could not fault it. The drinks, the service, everything was fantastic. There were 4 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ballybunion.

06/02/2026: This was my second time ordering the flame dog. The first time was just before closing time so the lack of tortilla chips supposed to with hot dog was missing. So today I went back at 5 pm. I ordered the flame dog again. This time the amount of taco sauce was laughable, a bare bit on one corner,and again no tortilla chips. The taco mince was lukewarm which i didn't figure until after I went back and said it about the sauce and tortilla chips,they gave me more taco sauce but said they had no tortilla chips,which the hotdog needs for texture to an otherwise mushy dish. How do they not have tortilla chips on a Friday at 5pm. Or are the tortilla chips non existent? I'm sure they are apart of the 8.50 price. So if they're not giving you what is advertising they need to either reduce the price or remove the tortilla from the menu. The chef looked like he didn't care when he was told. The waitress was no bother.

25/02/2026: Have to stop on the way home from Nenagh for hubby to get his pint of Guinness, he said it is one of the best he has found so far, Haven't tried the food yet but they always seem to busy in that area. Regulars we've met all seem to be up for the chat with strangers

27/10/2025: I’m really disappointed with how my cousin and I were treated at this pub. My cousin is autistic, and instead of showing any understanding or patience, the staff were rude and dismissive toward her. We were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, which completely ruined what was meant to be a nice night out… Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness — especially those who might experience the world differently. I’d really hope the management takes this seriously and provides proper training to their bouncers especially on how to treat all customers with understanding and empathy. We definitely won’t be returning until we know that’s changed. Literally pushing my autistic cousin out at the end of the night which nearly made her fall down the stairs of this pub!
