The best restaurants

20/09/2026: I came back because the fish and chips used to be really good 10/10, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill over time. The fish was okay, but not as good as last time, and the chips tasted like they were cooked in old oil.

10/09/2026: Super busy but food was very hot and fresh and massive portions. We will definitely be back to try something else from the extensive menu

21/08/2026: I’m from the Jersey shore where we proudly compete with NYC for the worlds best pizza. We are pizza snobs, yes. But THIS! THIS PLACE!!! Omg 🤤 😋 ..I have lived in Ireland for over 2 years and this is the best pizza I have had in Ireland and maybe EVER. Thin crispy crust, perfect ratio of sauce and cheese. This is a rare gem of a place and I’m so thankful my friends let me get some of their leftovers so I can know where to make my first stop next time in Dingle!

14/08/2026: Can’t recommend this spot enough! We opted for a takeout order of one vegetarian pie, a margarita pie with half pepperoni and cheesy garlic bread — all were absolutely delicious! The thin pizza crust was nice and thin without being soggy. Highly recommend!

21/08/2026: Have been twice lately to Bujolle with different groups and each time everyone has been more than happy with their meals. Food is fresh and tasty and always service with a smile.

13/07/2026: Finding this little gem of a restaurant was a happy accident as we only stopped in Killcock to stretch our legs. Between us we had the chicken Parma, pasta with chicken and mushrooms, eggplant, chicken with goat cheese salad and topped it all off with a toffee sticky pudding with ice cream. Nicole was delightful as our wait person and the chef clearly cares about what he puts in front of diners. Excellent!

07/09/2026: Stopped in because I had to use the bathroom and we sat down for a pint. The staff (Derrick) and other patrons were amazing and so friendly to talk to. Definitely a hidden gem!

13/07/2026: I have stayed in the Grand on many occasions, this time we booked through a third party website which was cheaper but we ended up in a very small bedroom. The Grand does many things well but the breakfast is one of the best parts about staying in this hotel, so pay the extra for breakfast and get a window seat and enjoy the view. Great location, especially when the weather is good like on this visit and if you get a chance go on Howth cliff walk,it's a great experience.

25/06/2026: Beautiful updated room, nice size bathroom. Writing desk, table with two chairs. Tea kettle and a fancy coffee maker. A fan was provided, which was needed because we were there during a hot 🔥 spell in June. The room was very hot and stuffy. Dinner and breakfast served in the restaurant overlooking the bay, just gorgeous. All the food was delicious. Great service throughout all the meals.

14/06/2026: We order 2x fresh fish n chips. The fish was delicious, fresh, melt in ur mouth, flaky, perfect. Batter light and perfect ratio, with lots of fish!. Chips were good! The staff were super duper friendly. They even gave us a half lemon to go for the fish. Enjoyed it by the beach.

26/08/2026: Great lunch. If you want a quiet time go around 10am. Gets busy at 11am and after. Very easy to find and food is 10/10 always.

01/09/2026: Really kind of 3 pubs in one. The front bar is the classic old school pub look with plenty of old man locals; it wraps around to a second rustic bar room. Pass through to the lounge which also has a stand-up bar and handles weekend crowds. The lounge has bands that set-up in the corner, they do a Monday night with usually local bands playing rock classics which is fun and has no cover. The Patio which has a had a retractable roof is a great spot on a sunny day, don't expect much a crowd early in the week. Weekends they usually have a DJs playing to the patio crowd which leans very young as the night goes on. Sometimes they have special DJ events that might have a small cover. The patio also has a rolldown screen for bog matches. Also have a part of the patio they use for birthday parties etc. Great pints and bonus points for having Lagunitas IPA on draft for when you are weary of the Guinness. Staff is great. They don't serve food, but Biddo's has a food truck on the patio Thursday-Sunday evenings featuring birria style tacos/nachos etc. definitely worth trying. Note it can get crowded so plan accordingly. Without a doubt one of the best places in town.

21/07/2026: Great place to watch a match. Great beer garden. Excellent staff. Good selection of beers.

03/08/2026: Still hasn't changed since the 80s, hopefully it never will. Edit, its now 2026 and I called in for a 2 pints , just remember that I first visited this pub in 1985, as I was able too. It has been the centre of my writing my nostalgic visits, even during during my cancer fight. And I was chatting to the lady serving me, then this bearded langer, who is a staff member decided to give his tuppence aggressively and ignorantly and hes 42.....when I asked why the answer was " I added it up" ..... Ill always be grateful its there, but I was one of 5 and a bearded langer thinking he was intelligent. Im from Cork City, alas Ill never go again

24/07/2026: Wow! What a pub! Peter and his lovely colleague made me and my daughter feel so welcome. Lots of fun banter and great pints of Murphys! Don’t miss this gem!

22/08/2026: We enjoyed a lovely night after traveling from Galway... We were greeted by Peter (manager) who checked in with us on numerous occasions. Barman Donal was very attentive, polite & spent time chatting with us. Lovely gents....Food was fantastic, the starters... mussels, brie & prawns highly recommend, delicious...Main courses...Pastas were unreal & stir fry was delicious.
