The best restaurants

04/09/2026: My granddaughter loves the ice cream there - it's her favorite and I know why. Delicious cream ice cream. Would take a lot to beat it!😋😋😋

03/09/2026: A lovely café in the middle of the park with cozy outdoor seating. We went there for breakfast and found the food delicious and the prices fair. They offer many vegetarian options, such as yogurt with granola and a vegan breakfast roll. We would definitely come back if we are ever in the area again.

06/09/2026: Brilliant, just as Ka Shing nearby. Great value too. I wish I tried it earlier, I was just suspicious of the 4.2 reviews, but personally, I’d rate this place at 4.8 or more! It’s just so good. The prawn cheung fun, the squid scallop dumplings, even the stir fried mushrooms were perfect… Seems this restaurant is a bit of a Dublin institution, having been founded in 1991. Highly recommended. Great service, and I love the retro decor, it’s comforting unlike new restaurants which are all about fancy interiors but overpriced mid food. Will be back here soon!

06/09/2026: (march 2025 - 4 stars) literally nothing bad to say about this place. love it. har gow, siew mai are amazing. char siew and siew yok were amazing as well. wow their ngau yuk hor fun was phenomenal. felt like i travelled through space and was back at home. unfortunately liu sha is a hard no go - nowhere near runny and was just a custard. i mean if you like custard buns why not (sept 2026 - 3 stars) came back and the standard has dropped…. 小笼包 and har gow stole the show for us. however, xiu mai & their 瘦肉皮蛋粥 was so lacklustre and bland. sio bak was really good but charsiew was quite subpar. i feel like there are quite a few hits and misses here now. nb you will be charged €3 for ginger which is outrageous because how can a chinese establishment not offer ginger and vinegar together with their xiao long bao. prices are on the higher end as well.

02/08/2026: We went to have a snack. We shared a large dish of mussels and a pizza which were superb. We then shared the salmón dish on rice - also superb. The water provided was also excellent. Staff were patient and pleasant. The only Black Mark was the appalling state of the Gents loo.....

19/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved Spill The Beans! Everyone was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The toastie was amazing, the blueberry muffin and Nutella croissant were delicious, and the mocha latte was SO good! Everything was fresh, and the service made the whole experience even better. A spot I highly recommend!

10/09/2026: Everything was absolutely delicious! What I loved most was how flexible and accommodating they are. You’re not limited to a fixed menu, and they’re happy to mix things up or adapt a dish depending on what you feel like having. The food was really tasty, the drinks were great, and the whole experience was lovely. I’m currently pregnant, so I especially appreciated how willing they were to adapt the food to what I wanted. Definitely a place I’d recommend! 😊

26/08/2026: A regular Supermacs. Bright & airy with plenty of parking & seating. Staff members were helpful. My only issue is that the toilet bowls are designed for children or dwarfs. They are way too low for the average adult, especially if you have any sort of stiffness. The result is cubicles with lumps of discarded toilet paper.

22/08/2026: What a beautiful little spot stopped on the way to knock got a fab breakfast staff were so nice and friendly was going to stop for dinner on way back but we weren't hungry enough unfortunately ...

29/08/2026: Nice little Italian restaurant. Went there for dinner. It was not busy midweek. Food was authentic and good. Red wine was nice and at a good temperature. Reasonably priced. Attentive hostess.

15/08/2026: We came across this Italian restaurant simply because it was on the same street as our hotel, where we were waiting to be able to check in, and it turned out to be a very good choice. The staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. They even helped us find a place to leave our luggage while we went for lunch, which we really appreciated. We arrived at around 2 pm and the restaurant was very quiet, so we had no problem finding a table. The pizzas were very good and freshly made to order. We particularly liked that you can see the pizzas being prepared, which gives the place a nice and authentic feel. We tried a few different ones, but the spicy pizza was definitely our favourite. Overall, a lovely Italian restaurant with friendly service and good freshly made pizza.

17/09/2026: Superb Ramen and I think its my favourite ramen in Dublin. I had the Butter Chicken Ramen and a homemade raspberry kombucha. The two lads serving us where absolutely sound. Highly recommended 👌

18/08/2026: Back again in Ireland and was happy to enjoy another wonderful meal here.... I loved everything about this place. We had almost given up on having lunch out when we came across this place. Great find! Can't recommend it enough.
