14/02/2026: Look I love the food from here ,but this is the second time happening now ,got a delivery tonight order a butter chicken main and a mixed grill main ,gets the delivery and the sauce for the mixed grill isn't there this is the second time happening 🥲rang them oh kitchen is closed 😭so it's valentine's were after spending money on a nice meal and I've to share my sauce out of the butter chicken so now we both have meat with just rice basically a miniscule amount of sauce between us ,and they will take money off next order mind you the hole meal is ruined now devastated,,second time 😅😅😅 happy valentine's day

28/01/2026: From the reviews and recommendations we were really looking to experience Vie De Chateaux, however things didn't turn out the way we expected....We have booked an outdoor seating as it was one of the last days we will experience a warm evening before winter hit. However upon arrival we were advised the they're too busy to accompany us outside so they seated us inside, okay fair enough times can be busy and the waitresses might have been short staffed. Once seated we have ordered our drinks which were very bland and not great quality. The highly so called wines of the month were terrible, Guinness was no better a bit warm even... always we have continued into the menu and "fish of the day halibut" for an astonishing price of €36 WOW. We have ordered two starters mussels and burrata (a mozzarella it should have been called). Mussels were okay however lacking flavour which was killed by the tomatoe sauce. The "burrata" was a disaster nothing like an authentic burrata served with 4 pieces of asparagus for an astonishing price of €16 that had no flavour, no taste and no love into the preparation. We were already a bit disgusted with the starters but carried onto the main. Two portions of lamb as as the menue was very vague apart from the halibut there was no other seafood available.... dissapointing. Here we go again very bland, very sour, under cooked even thought both portions very ordered to medium... when asked for a recommendation for a matching wine for the lamb again we were referred to the "wine of the month" undrinkable. Not at any point of the evening were we asked if everything is okay if we need anything. Each time trying to get the waitresses attention was a game of catching the ball. Anyways our evening lasted 50minutes and from something with such high recommendations we were seriously dissapointed and we won't be back. The portions and quality of food is not adequate to the prices. There are better places in our neighbourhood that serve better food which is worth the money. Aswell as that only 2 positions of the whole menu were seafood.

20/01/2026: I gave it one star because the restaurant was closed when I arrived. I think it's the least they could do to update their opening hours. Unacceptable, especially considering the long drive. Avoid at all costs.

06/01/2026: This is a great place! Very friendly and welcoming. Amazing chowder and a nice beer selection. The service is friendly and costumer oriented. The food was served quickly and was very delicious. We enjoyed our stay.

01/02/2026: I’ve been to this restaurant with my wife and kids three or four times before and never had any issues. Unfortunately, this visit was completely different, mainly due to the service. Our server was a young girl, so hopefully this improves with time, but on this occasion she was unfriendly and seemed completely uninterested from the start. We ordered over €200 worth of food. One person in our group wasn’t very hungry and only wanted a starter, but was told she had to order at least €15 worth of food. As a result, she was forced to order two starters just to meet the minimum spend, which felt unnecessary and unreasonable. Service was extremely slow. It took over an hour to receive our food after ordering. During that time, dozens of takeaway orders were being handed to delivery drivers. It was very obvious that takeaway app orders were being prioritised over customers dining in. After the long wait, the order was still wrong. I also brought my 4-year-old son to the toilet, and shockingly there was blood all over the underside of the toilet seat. This was absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable, especially in a place serving food. Once the food finally arrived, the server never checked if everything was okay, never asked if we needed more drinks, and essentially disappeared. When it came time to pay, I had to get up myself to ask. I requested to pay separately for myself and for my wife and kids, and the server was clearly unhappy about having to split the bill, despite it being over €200. I will say that when the food arrived, the food itself was very good. However, the dine-in experience was so poor that I’ll only consider getting takeaway from here in the future

27/02/2026: Had a snack box meal. Very nice but I cannot understand why when I ask for a drink without ice it still comes with ice. Usually i would go back to counter with it but was so tired after long work day i just drank it.

19/02/2026: Placed a collection order for foods €40.15. It was 4 meals after receiving the food this is what our dressed fries looked like...lazy sloppy no interest

13/12/2025: Great atmosphere, but noisy. Most of the seating is on high stools. Excellent service. Limited range with the menu.

08/12/2025: We really enjoyed our meal. The Sunday menu differs fro. The rest of the week, it was a selection of roasted meats and veggies served family style. Everything was delicious. 😋😋

12/02/2026: Passed it on the 40 bus to Kerry. While I didn't eat there it looked fantastic, bright and cheerful. I was miserable when I passed it and the sight of it cheered me up so 5 stars for that :)

09/12/2025: JJ's Truckstop is a great place to stop! The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and fast, always happy to help.

09/06/2025: Only available for a tour of the house. Beautiful grounds, very well-maintained garden. The house is clearly in need of renovation, but that doesn't detract from its charm. Unfortunately, no photos allowed inside.

27/07/2025: A great place. We stopped there for a delicious and hearty breakfast. Fantastic coffee, reasonable prices, and very friendly service. Thank you to the lady from Kaszuby for taking care of us. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable, with a portion enough for even the most hungry. 👍😎 Ryszard

22/06/2025: It's a charming place. We were served in a very friendly and welcoming manner, even though there were eight people and service can be complicated, all the dishes came out at the same time. I shared a dish with another person, and when I told them, they brought us two individual plates with the shared dish. I thought it was a nice touch. As for the food, it was very good. I especially recommend the cheese and beetroot focaccia. It was perfectly balanced and flavorful. The Schnitzel was very crispy and juicy. Highly recommended for a leisurely meal. Thanks to the #cracked... bistro team for their service :)

26/08/2025: I was on holiday with the family I'm an italian racegoer and I' m interested in every aspect of horse racing: breeding, training etc I was there without advice no email I simply ask if was possibile to see something, they gave me the chance to visit all the stable. Thanks you so much, was unbelievable to see so many champion Galopin des Champs, Lossiemouth, Energumene, Absurde,Ethical Diamonds and many many others What a powerfull stable! I Also had the privilege to talk with Willie Mullins a Genius in training and a real gentleman Thanks you so much to all the staff I'll never forget

23/10/2025: The place is very well located. We really liked the overall decor internally. It was bright and sunny while we were there, so we really liked hanging out. We ordered burger, wrap, and a salad. The salad was really delicious and very very healthy. I want to highly recommend it to anyone visiting here (especially if you are vegetarian). The wrap was also good !! The burger was okayish - it was too sweet because of the relish. Maybe it’s a personal preference thing !! The staff were nice and friendly, however, another small feedback is regarding providing drinking water to the guests :) Not deducting any star for these small things 😅 Because we enjoyed being there. Thanks You - will visit again 🙌🙏

14/10/2025: Great little coffee shop. We came in just before closing and they still took our order. The hot chocolates were delicious and not too sweet. The lemon cake was very tasty as well. We spoke to 3 different staff and they were all very friendly.
