04/06/2026: Atmosphere was great for a late night takeaway, staff were good craic and we had some laughs. Food was nice as well, particularly the kebab and the fries. Portion sizes really generous:)

01/06/2026: Had lunch here on a very busy day, the place was filled with French (motor) bikers and so I wasn't expecting service to be so prompt. Great atmosphere, good food and service...sad that this is the last pub in the village but hopefully it can keep going for many years yet!

27/05/2026: Superb welcome… we hadn’t booked but our hosts managed to find us a good restaurant and treat us to a delicious meal before we took the ferry back to France.

26/04/2026: Food ok, staff not very nice. Didn’t offer a high chair for our daughter even though she was struggling to reach the table. I didn’t think they had one, but saw one by the restroom when we left.

05/05/2026: Came from a hike wanted to sit outside and get some coffee and cakes and see the menu for a lunch with relatives on another day. This did not happen as the hostess rushed outside to prevent us from entering(which we had no intention as were with our puppy). She said sorry this is a restaurant we dont do drinks. There was noone outside and plenty of room to sit and not bother anyone. Very disapointing response and not what we ecpectef to here. Not returning here.

27/03/2026: Very cosy place , based beside the river with nice walks alongside the water . Great food, good drinks and nice service . Would recommend it 100%

11/10/2025: This restaurant and its sister restaurant Konkan have fallen off a cliff in terms of quality but have raised prices. The lamb in my order was not shoulder or shank, it had a lower cut flavor which would have been fine if it had been cooked long enough, every pice of lamb had unrendered fat and cartilage.

20/06/2025: Delicious food at a good price. The prawns were amazing. The service was stellar. I booked a table for dinner for my partners birthday, they played happy birthday (at a reasonable volume so as not to disturb other diners) & brought him a slice of delicious chocolate cake with candle and all. It was a lovely touch and a great end to the fantastic meal. I look forward to eating here again soon.

06/06/2026: We booked this venue for a family occasion 2 weeks ago. It was our Father's 96th birthday... and an amazing milestone, however the experience was far from amazing. The whole occasion was treated with complete indifference by staff and management. Below average food, inexperienced staff. Table left continually full of empty plates. Forgot to bring us the birthday cake. Forgot to bring plates and forks for the cake. Had to be asked for the most simplest of requirements. Didn't even bother to put our candles on the cake when they eventually brought out the forgotten cake. 96 is an exceptional birth date to achieve; set in a venue that had no interest [we had booked in advance and told them if the occasion]. Drove home feeling we had wasted this opportunity to celebrate a family occasion.

24/04/2026: A little pricey, but it was delicious. Lots of great flavors to choose from.

22/04/2026: Got the Oreo Milkshake and simply had one word in my mind as i was sipping it away - WOW! They definitely use a secret ingredient to make it more scrupulous than your typical milkshake elsewhere! I wish i lived in Dublin so I could frequent here more regularly 😢 Has to go down as the best milkshake i have ever had!!

03/06/2026: Just back from a lovely weekend at the Carrigaline Court. The hotel was in a great location for visiting Fota Wildlife Park. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the food was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

26/05/2026: A lovely hotel in Carrigaline, with bus links to Cork City and Ringaskiddy NMCI. Church opposite and a short walk to local pubs and shops. Very nice and clean hotel with friendly local staff. Will definitely stay here again.

25/04/2026: My favorite little local pub when I’m visiting Limerick from the States. Cozy, authentic, very local and they pour a great pint!

22/04/2026: Quiet on a Tuesday night. Interesting decoration with less usual Irish whiskey types. cannot say much more, but we were just looking for a bar to have a quiet beer and do some talking... objectives attained!

30/11/2025: Place is quite old, the smell is not very good. Food not bad but still poor had a scrambled egg with salmon, very dry and not the best.
