03/09/2025: Nice place to have different types of food. We had chicken wings as starter that were marinated with hoisin sauce (Asian style) and we had the mussels in Asian style - also really delicious!

Kelehans Bar & Restaurant
Galway
01/06/2026: Well, we had a bad experience there due to poor service. While we were enjoying our beers we discovered that the couch we were sitting on was completely wet, we didn't know what it was, I don't want to think about it... and one of us needed to go away to change their trousers as they were completely soaked. We asked for at least one free pint due to the damage of clothes as a refund for the inconvenience, and it was refused. We were only brought a roll of blue paper that was just left on the table, not sure what the purpose of that was. That's not a great way to treat regular customers who bought food and drinks there many times in the past years. I do not suggest this place anymore.
12/05/2026: This bar is beloved to my wife and I now. The staff was great, the food was great, and the pints were great. We stayed at the Glenlo Abbey and walked to this pub every night we were there. Coming back every time we stay in Galway

Coffee@TheEdge
Dublin
03/06/2026: I can’t really say enough about the Edge, a very popular locally run Coffee shop. There’s comfy seats, great coffee and wonderful cakes. Sandwiches are excellent too. Mid-morning it’s always nicely busy with a great buzz. Friendly staff and it’s independent, not a chain, which is a plus. Dog-friendly too, if that’s your thing!
27/05/2026: Lovely friendly spot for meeting friends for Coffee. Limited car parking

06/11/2025: Amazing café with great atmosphere!
I absolutely love this place! The coffee is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing — perfect for studying, meeting friends, or just enjoying a quiet moment.
They also have a nice selection of pastries and sandwiches, all made with great quality. You can really tell they care about what they do. Definitely one of the best cafés in Dublin — highly recommended!

Hairy Lemon
Dublin
24/05/2026: Awesome boozer! Very friendly staff and customers. Great pint of Guinness too!
21/05/2026: The Hairy Lemon is a characterful Dublin pub with a wonderfully traditional and slightly eccentric atmosphere. From the colourful historic façade to the richly decorated interior, every corner feels full of stories, humour and local identity. The walls, old signs, flags, vintage objects and banknotes create a very distinctive setting that feels both lively and authentic.
I had a hearty stew served with mashed potato and brown bread, together with Guinness 0.0, and it matched the atmosphere perfectly — simple, warm and satisfying. It is the kind of place where visitors can feel the spirit of old Dublin while enjoying a relaxed pub experience. A memorable stop for anyone who appreciates traditional interiors, good pub food and places with real character.

Tuco's Taqueria
Galway
01/05/2026: Small quaint place which gives you the authentic hole in the wall vibes. The staff were wonderful. The burrito was good in size but I didnt find anything spicy whatsever. It was actually sweet. So if you want something thats actually spicy, dont bother with the hottest one.
21/04/2026: The quesadilla it’s not worth it. Just a basic wrap with some cheese on it. Wouldn’t pay 8 euros again for this

The Port House
Dublin
15/06/2026: I dunno the necessities to waitress come to your table all the time asking if you wanna food. Despite you are drinking and enjoying, makes no sense this hurry to make you ordering something. We were in a celebration to a friend that goes back to our home country and seems like no where in Dublin even port house is able to let people enjoy their moment.
The food is quiet ok, but the food even the vegetarian or protein are full of tomato sauce and fat inside. Even small portions you feel nauseous.
04/06/2026: Excellent restaurant - the food was out of this world, best tapas I've had outside of Spain, really friendly staff, good service and a great atmosphere, it's so intimate with all the twinkly lights and candles. We had the most lovely evening, highly recommend.
