17/08/2026: Had a drink here 27 years ago while visiting family who use to live in the New row. The pub has changed for the times and has a lovely feel. Love the outdoor sitting area at the front. Had a pizza which was wonderful.

25/08/2026: Centre of town of Mullingar,street parking , food is good , coffee is good , great place to meet, call on Friday and that's busy day in town so seats were limited and the staff were under pressure to keep table checked , porrage was order and turn out to be over done , see how busy I just stuck to coffee, was one of does day I am guessing

Great menu. There is no disabled toilet. Find that difficult.
Sat outside and asked could the canopy be put down as we had a dog, got the reply 'no' nothing more. But the rest of the staff appeared to be helpful.
The food was good especially for breakfast.

04/08/2026: Lovely traditional bar that has live music in the evenings. If you are staying around West Kerry for a week or so buy the West Kerry Live magazine(on shop counters) for €1 as it gives all the activities in the area over a 2 week period.

06/06/2026: Called in here passing through Ballymahon and it didn’t disappoint. We spoke to the owner’s son who was really friendly and let us order off the dinner menu early so we could try their steak. I had the ribeye and it was top notch, excellent quality and cooked perfectly. The whole dish was great, and the Guinness was right up there too. Highly recommend.
29/05/2026: Great option if you are on holidays in Centerparcs and fancy some real food, 5 minutes from the forest, great steaks, good kids menu and overall just a friendly place.

17/08/2026: Great food! I got the half Sunday roast and everything tasted great except for the mysterious cubes of some vegetable. It was a very nice place to hangout with friends. The place was very busy and the tables were not cleaned and attended to. The waitresses seemed stressed and were taking everyone’s orders in a very rushed manner, but overall, the place is very nice but would’ve been way better if it were not too busy. There were also a lot of options for food.
28/07/2026: Wondered into Joanne's by chance during an outing in Gorey. Delicious sandwiches, yummy desserts and a terrific staff. Oh, and the prices! Two sandwiches, two desserts for only 16 euro, plus a free bread for spending over 15.

02/05/2026: This used to be a great spot for coffee, now the staff spend more time on there phones than they do serving you. The standard of coffee had gone way down. Not worth it at all now. I would avoid if you like coffee.
