02/03/2025: The food was just okay. The best thing about the place is that it has Halal chicken and beef options. beef noodles were good and a delight to enjoy. The spicy chicken with rice was not that good at all. Overall the food is okay.

11/03/2025: Came in for dinner during the week, was almost an empty restaurant. Food was decent, no complaints there. Ordered a Guinness and it clearly hasn't been poured all day as I got a terrible pint, couldn't finish it and got a whiskey and ginger ale instead. Very small bar selection, however as to be expected with a fairly small restaurant. Upscaled priced for drinks due to the location, definitely could get better prices within a 2-5 minute walk from the hotel. Server was nice, however she could've been more attentive.

11/03/2025: Very warm welcome and fantastic location, staff are very friendly and helpful, car park unfortunately you have to pay, but you do get a 50% discount on car parking 24h parking with the discount will be 12 euro.
This morning at breakfast we got their 50mins before it closed , their wasn't enough food cooked for the capacity of the people staying in the hotel, the food was cold alot of other guests complaint about same issue, we had to wait for food to come out that took some time

Dublin Literary Pub Crawl

10/01/2025: I was not terribly excited to do a literary pub crawl since I am not an avid reader like my husband. But this was so enjoyable! The first scene was from Waiting for Godot and the acting was incredible. The music was a great taste of Irish fair. Frank and John led us around sharing interesting tidbits of history. Our students loved the quiz and were very competitive.
Thanks for a great first night in Dublin!
26/09/2024: Our hosts were funny and lively, guiding and encouraging the group through the streets of Dublin at night, laying down some interesting facts and stories while introducing us to some truly memorable establishments.
Low key, engaging, silly, funny.

23/02/2025: We had a gorgeous dinner on our eldest daughter's 17th birthday. We booked the table in advance and I'm glad we did as the place was quite busy, being on a Friday evening. The food was absolutely gorgeous, with deserts to die for! Lovely, friendly staff. Absolutely recommend this place!!
23/02/2025: Unfortunately too expensive for what you get, including the size of a portion. Polite staff. Chocolate brownie was nice.

06/03/2025: Got a takeaway from La Locadina last night, it was 10/10 across the board.
Delicious food, great value for money as the portions were massive! (We're literally eating it again for dinner tonight as leftovers, there was that much ).
Great delivery service and food arrived piping hot even though it came from Wicklow town to Rathdrum.
Can't recommend enough, also go the extra on your order and get a dessert with your main, we got the profiteroles and chocolate pear tart and both were delicious.
21/02/2025: We had Al Prosciutto Cotto pizza and Affumicata smokey pizza. Both amazing and I haven't eaten such a nice dough for a while.

29/12/2024: Pedí pizza de jamón y nunca tuve pizza peor en mi vida. Había ingredientes osos, pocos trozos pequeños de mozzarella y jamón pero completamente cargados de salsa y ensalada cohete que hizo que la pizza supiera muy amarga incluso la presentación se veía horrible. Pagó 22 € como un desperdicio de dinero. No volverá a pedir desde allí.
29/12/2024: Disappointing pizza. Arrived cold. Pretty flavourless and overall for 40 euro for 2 pizzas I expected a lot better quality for the price.

18/02/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful few nights here looked after superbly by Anthony .
The Full Irish was the best we’ve ever tasted with homemade bread and local produce. Endless pots of tea , fresh fruits , yoghurts , cereals and juices.
The freshly baked scones were to die for !
Tea / coffee /biscuits always available in the gorgeous quirky sitting room.
Our second visit here ( last one pre covid ) and so sorry the restaurant is now closed but plenty of lovely places to eat in Charlestown only a few minutes walk from the Riverside.
We will definitely return as the location is perfect for visiting Knock Shrine and a few minutes from the airport .
31/12/2024: As always 10/10 - fabulous Irish hospitality from Anthony. Very comfortable room and the greatest full Irish in Ireland!
