12/02/2026: We had an absolutely wonderful stay this past weekend! Everything was perfect, but what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service. A huge thank you to Denisa from the staff. She was incredible-extremely helpful and kind. She gave us great advice and took excellent care of us at the restaurant as well. It's rare to find someone so dedicated to making guests feel welcome. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great atmosphere and top-notch service. Thank you, Denisa, for making our weekend so special!

08/03/2026: The service is terrible, there are not enough staff for so many people. The tables are sticky and have not been cleaned.

19/03/2026: The restaurant and takeaway are absolutely great. The food is freshly prepared — I asked to have one ingredient removed from my dish, and they had no problem doing it. It was definitely not pre‑prepared and reheated. The waiting time was around 15–20 minutes. The portions were hot and generous; in many other places, you would get about 30% less for the same price. Highly recommend — 100%!

27/02/2026: Hi! I'd like to contact the hotel owner. An unpleasant situation has arisen. On January 28th, I suffered an industrial injury at work and was unable to work for several days. Because of this, David Stewart fired me from my job. He also didn’t report the injury to the HSA. I am now unemployed.

09/01/2026: Outdated and overpriced. This hotel is not worth ‘4 stars’. In my opinion, they have some neck to charge customers their prices. The signal is nearly non-existent on the first floor. I wasn’t acknowledged by staff at the table during breakfast - you have to ask them to bring you toast, heat up croissants/scones etc and order coffee separately as it’s not accessible at the buffet, plus there’s a price menu to pay for coffee even though I already paid for breakfast included in my room rate. I could go on and on, like the steam room wasn’t working and the button to release bubbles into the jacuzzi wasn’t functioning properly. The food was bland and lifeless. The only benefits were the gym as the equipment was a decent standard and free on-site parking. Do yourself a favour and save your money for another hotel.

15/03/2026: Went to this pub for Rugby match as heard it was good place to watch match and for atmosphere....they removed all the bar stools so standing the whole time which was not great and no food was available...Female bar tender was lovely.

08/03/2026: Great pub but does get jam packed on Rugby day, service is fantastic no matter how busy and great atmosphere, again another must for us when in Dublin

17/02/2026: Didn't have food but plenty of other costumers had and I didn't see anyone complaining so I'm giving for 5*. Quiet at this time of the year but tonight there was a good crowd and an excellent entertainer in Paul Dylan, a great array of different songs top marks from me. The owners Son Paul Junior is the Captain of the local GAA club who just won the All Ireland Club Championship, photos of cups are displayed in the pub.

17/01/2026: Super craic. Food was lovely. Service was superb. Great spot. If you're a sports nut - there are TV's everywhere so whatevers on the box and you're sitting down for a meal - you should be able to enjoy your food and watch the game.

01/03/2026: We ordered sushi bento and tempura bento. The waiting time was not too long, and the food was quite tasty overall. However, when we asked the waitress how many pieces of sushi were included in the bento, she couldn’t answer. It was a bit surprising that she didn’t know this detail. Overall, a good place with decent food, but the staff could know the menu better.

26/02/2026: What can I say. Top Class Japanese food. If you like Sushi. My family do but I don't. But I get their curry or hotplate dishes. Always excellent.

27/02/2026: Ordered online, very simple pad thai delivery. Practically no update on the website. Called restaurant and was told it was waiting for driver. Very unsatisfactory service

23/02/2026: The staff are very friendly. The food is always amazing. My favourite is the Crispy chilli chicken and you have to have the prawn crackers.

03/03/2026: calamari tasteless, prawns not much better and the chips really poor. The salad and coleslaw were fine. It wasn't busy so no excuses for poor food.

22/02/2026: Myself my wife, my brother inlaw and his partner decided to go for a meal in Galway city centre. We went Venice a lovely warm and welcoming restaurant in the heart of Galway city. Upon arrival we were met at the door by a lovely well mannered girl who took our reservstion and led us to our table. The resstaurant itself is small but very comfortable and a great atmosphere. After taking our order our drinks arrived at our table in a timely manner, shortly afterwards our starters which were amazingly tasty which set the tone. Shortly after our starters were cleared from the table our main course arrived I myself had the Calzone which I found to be cooked to perfection the tastes and the flavours and texture was spot on, and portiion size generous. Once we had finished our main course we decided to order from the dessert menu which had a great selection of tasty treats. Dessert was absolutely delicous. When the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced the food was, so we decided to leave a 20% tip for the staff who went above and beyond to make our evening a pleasant one. I would highly recommend if you visit Galway City a visit to the restaurant is a must.
