25/02/2025: My husband and I visited The Wine Cellar last night to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary, and it was one of the most attentive & authentic meals we've had in ages. From the very first moment, Des looked after us with such sincerity and kindness. We both travel for work and dine out regularly, and trust me when I say the warmth of Des and his team is truly world-class. My husband is Italian, and we both loved our food. We tried the truffle arancini which were delightful, the bolognese which was perfectly balanced, and the coppa which was melt-in-your-mouth tender with the most incredible rich marsala sauce. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu and agreed it was the best one we'd ever had - ever! Compliments to the chef! Another bonus is the amazing €1 corkage deal on Sun-Tues, where you can select a bottle from their extensive selection on the shelves. We were really impressed by some of the labels and vintages on offer. We will absolutely be back again, and will be highly recommending The Wine Cellar to our family and friends for a relaxing evening and perfect atmosphere. Thanks again to Des and the team for making our evening so lovely!

13/03/2025: My friend and I went there for lunch. We ordered lasagna to go, but it didn’t look like lasagna, and it was cold.

04/03/2025: A very nice decorated place, with allot of space for dinners/drinkers with nice staff and service :-) I went there for a drink with few friends, so, didn't try the food, but I will surely be back to try the food... to summarise... a nice place for a visit :-) visited again this morning for a coffee and the espresso was very good! :-) I went there 15 min before opening and was served with a smile :-) sometimes that what makes the difference when deciding to revisit a place :-) thank you June :-) one more thing to add.... the coffee has improved :-) a very welcoming place... worth a visit and.... the coffee is still good :-) very nice and special atmosphere during the festive season, made the visits even more enjoyable and the staff is superbly nice and welcoming... indeed s fun place to visit,,, recommended :-)

01/09/2024: 2 adults and 2 kids, nice food fast service. Had fish and chips oysters and 2 kids meals. Amazing oysters and cocktails, we will be back.

15/02/2025: The last few times I have been in to get coffee, I have found it luke warm and very weak. Even when i asked for the coffee to be strong and extra hot, it’s still lukewarm. I had to pay extra to have strong coffee grrrr Maybe machine Not working. Waste of money. She offered to reheat the coffee by adding extra hot milk. But that would’ve made it weaker and it was already weak So disappointing Coffee from this place used to be great when they opened first

19/03/2025: Ordered from here on a whim, what a pleasant surprise! Absolutely delicious and higher quality than you'd have any right to expect from a takeaway. We had a chicken jalfrezi and another spicy coconut type chicken dish. Both absolutely top tier. Flavoursome, plentiful and packed with different ingredients. Nann bread was ace, as were the mint and mango chutney dips. Couldn't fault it and have had far less impressive food in far higher-priced spots. 10/10, no notes!

08/03/2025: Very worst experience, you can find only kerala kitchen name in the menu not the foods, quality and quantity wise very poor we asked for extra spicy unfortunately they served sweet cury, and very expensive, only staffs are good

09/01/2025: Food capers. Nice place to go for lunch. Great selection of Sandwiches and Rolls freshly prepared in front of you. Teas and Coffees are good here too. Great place to come alone or with Group or family or friends. Nice staff. Inside and outside seating. Good staff here. Can be busy around Lunchtime! Two restaurants one on Main Street Mallow! And the 2nd Cafe Restaurant is at the Primary Healthcare Centre Mallow! Nice friendly staff!

They have a great selection of foods for you to pick, the staff were friendly, it's very accessible for wheelchairs, and I will definitely eat here again when I'm travelling from Mitchelstown to Dublin! I would recommend this place to anyone! 👍👍

12/01/2025: Enjoyed a fabulous meal for 4 adults here,2 steaks,a lasagne & a pizza.No complaints,food was top notch.Also had 3 desserts,creme brulee,tiramisu & banoffi pie. First visit,will go again.Lovely atmosphere,music from the Godfather playing,chianti bottles as candle holders,all very atmospheric! Great service from the chef who also served us! Highly recommend.A complimentery shot offered for the birthday boy and dessert with candle also,well done!

09/03/2025: We visited in March 2025. While the staff were friendly, the food was not up to par. There was something off about the dumplings; they had a rubbery texture and didn't taste right. Unfortunately, I'm experiencing severe stomach pains today after eating them.
