01/03/2026: Only stopped for a quick bite..limited menu mainly sandwiches 🥪 but great soup and plesent staff 😋 locals enjoying the beers and the company of the staff..typical Irish rural bar. Loved it

I love Polish and Hungarian cuisine The Lady working there was very nice, very kind, we had a great conversation, I really recommend going there, you will be greeted with a smile and a kind word, I recommend it

08/01/2026: Beautiful old school Hotel and restaurant. Afternoon tea is lovely with beautiful sandwiches and yummy fresh cakes . The dinner is exquisite and the menu changes every day. Service was so nice and we were well looked after . Highly recommend 😁

31/10/2025: Can only comment on food and service. Beautiful historic building and superb quality food. Roast beef portion was small though but compensated but generous vegetables. Soup was wonderful. Very quiet but perfect getaway for couples looking for a quiet time.

27/02/2026: We gathered here after my sister’s funeral service, and I honestly cannot put into words how grateful we are for the care and compassion shown to our family. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely incredible. They treated us with such genuine respect and kindness, and even placed my sister’s photo on the wall for us - a small but deeply meaningful gesture that meant so much during such a painful day. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt clinical. They handled everything quietly and professionally, allowing us the space to be together. The meal itself was outstanding. We were served four beautiful courses - homemade soup with fresh bread to start, followed by roast beef and salmon done perfectly, then pavlova and cheesecake for dessert, finishing with tea and coffee. The food was exceptional in quality, generous in portion, and full of warmth - and they kept bringing seconds and thirds (which was no small task with our massive Irish family!). There were plenty of gravy bowls making the rounds too, which certainly didn’t go unnoticed. What stood out most, though, was how they went above and beyond. When we began singing songs together, they closed the doors so we wouldn’t be interrupted. They created a private, respectful space for us to grieve, remember, laugh, cry, and celebrate her life. On a day that could have been overwhelming, they made everything feel seamless. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail allowed us to focus on what truly mattered - being together as a family. We will never forget the kindness they showed us. Truly above and beyond in every way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

23/07/2025: We stopped here on our road trip around the Atlantic way coast. Just had a couple of drinks but came back the following evening to have a meal and hear some traditional Irish music from the live performers. The food was really good. I had the Guinness beef casserole and my wife the special lamb stew. Both dishes were excellent, and we finished by sharing the apple pie and ice cream. That was so good, great pastry and filling. The serving staff were all so friendly and the lady who seem to be in charge couldn’t have been more helpful by seating us where we could see the live music. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

30/10/2025: Food here is the best you can get in Ennis, The staff here are so nice and helpful. I recommend the sweet and sour chicken and sizzling beef as they are just delicious. In fact everything here is delicious and let loose. 10/10

20/10/2025: I bought a baguette with hot chicken this morning and the chicken was like a shoe sole, it was probably three days old and the baguette is also dry, disgusting! Considering the class of the store and the prices, I thought the food was of a high standard and fresh, big mistake, I will definitely not go back there.

16/10/2025: Cleanest premises ever .. food from the deli is outstanding. All staff are lovely to be with and it's always busy..

09/03/2026: Lovely hotel. Only 11 rooms, 3 reached thru rear stairs, the rest you can get to they front stairs. Had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. All were delicious, piping hot and very well presented. Also had 2 desserts, also very well presented and delicious. Photos below. Every member of staff were very friendly and helpful, special mention to Johnathan and Karena. Also shout out to Michael,a local, who plays the piano, needs a tuning, and sometimes sings. All in all, a very enjoyable weekend and will definitely visit again.
