22/08/2026: Great place to eat , food was amazing, staff very friendly and can’t do enough for you , great location, I don’t know what the rooms were like because we were camping, but I’d highly recommend here , when we arrived a guy was playing guitar and singing really well, great atmosphere, we loved it

04/09/2026: I ordered Roast of the Day (Turkey and Ham) takeaway. Really good portion size, great quality food, piping hot and delicious! Would highly recommend. Fast and very friendly service. A lovely dinner for a very reasonable price! 🫡

03/07/2026: Me and my partner waited so long to come in here and try the food , service was abit slow but when I got the food I was so happy as it was also my Birthday celebration. I'm so disappointed as I have had to work a 9 to 6 shift the next say with constant diarrhea and throwing up to the point infection was the only thing coming from my stomach. I never write reviews but I am very disappointed and will not come here again.

21/09/2026: Visited with a group of 10 on 21/09/2026 circa 14:45. Food was very good. Service was courteous and efficient. Very nice ambience. None of the 10 of us had any complaints about anything. Highly recommend you eat there. The village lacks much character but there are a large number of lovely modern houses and despite the fact that I saw no bins, the village was spotlessly clean. No litter anywhere. Oh joy! Beside the Shannon, and the harbour is lovely with very clean public toilets. Highly recommend a visit to the village and the railway museum.

24/07/2026: I loved everything about this little sushi shop except for the excessive mayonnaise drizzle on my rainbow roll. The rainbow rolle looked absolutely beautiful. And when I scraped the mayonnaise off it was very tasty. But if you just eat it with the mayonnaise all you taste is a mayonnaise. I would go back and I would order a rainbow roll again but I would ask them to either skip the mayonnaise sauce or put it on the side of the plate. I also had the matcha and a cookie and I was very happy with my meal overall.

20/07/2026: The atmosphere is so cozy and lovely, the drinks are priced reasonably and the sushi is beyond impeccable! I haven't tasted any sushi like it. The litle barista asian boy at the counter makes you feel so welcome.

03/08/2026: I think I've just about gotten over the fact that this building previously housed the wonderful Roches Stores, however this Marks and Sparks is an excellent department store with a particularly excellent food section. good. Nice cafe on first floor, but no toilets there. Staff are a mix of indifferent and very helpful. Great central location in the city.

24/06/2026: Our recent stay at St Helens was exceptional. The beautiful setting and stunning gardens made our visit truly memorable. Our room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The staff were warm and professional and they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent as was the service. I would especially like to thank Cristian Alexandra Liam and Victoria who went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect weekend.

09/06/2026: Nadine was so helpful & wonderful !! Very professional & friendly. Wonderful stay here and the staff was amazing ! We loved Dace’ in the breakfast room. Miriam, Amber, Imane, Nicollo and the girl from Rhodes were also lovely. Gorgeous hotel 🏨 Fresh flowers all over !!

31/07/2026: A fantastic place to grab some food and eat it in the park. Very friendly and everything was delicious.

13/06/2026: The staff here are top class, always friendly, helpful and polite. The only thing that beats them is the food which is absolutely on fire, 100%+ every time , a tad on the pricey side but I don't care, just take all of my money, I've been in twice a day on occasion.

06/09/2026: A really fun, busy bar right in the centre. We came as part of a big party that had booked tables in advance and ordered food. I wasn't able to try the pizzas (I'm coeliac) but they smelled incredible and my friends said they were excellent. The vibes were buzzing and the décor is casual and fun. We loved the signs as gaeilge. ;) The bar staff served us quickly and efficiently which was quite a feat when it was so busy. They've got a lot to choose from on tap and in the fridges, which was fab. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town.
