21/03/2026: Was with someone with special needs the front access was hard but in side was nice and nice music good atmosphere he enjoyed it all good loved sausages and chips 🍟 and had shamrock shake thanks, will be back as I always look for cheap because as a carer has to pay from my pocket not much paid as a staff thanks .

23/11/2025: FOULEST BEHAVIOUR OF STAFF MEMBER - WHOM I BELIEVE TO BE DATSE HERSELF - IN DATSE'S CAFE, CAVAN on 22nd NOVEMBER 2025 So today, myself and my family went into Cavan to see wicked. We headed in early with the intention to go to another cafe - Cafe Mana for the pesto chicken on sourdough that we love so much, and the gorgeous cappuccinos and hot chocolate too. We've been looking forward to the day out for a while now. Sadly, when we arrived in Cavan, Cafe Mana was closed. Autumn opening hours. So we decided to go to Datses instead. Been there before, the food's good and it was close by. We were in good form. Greeted familiar faces and I even had a wee bop at the counter to a song on the radio. The mood was good. We ordered our coffees and food and told the lovely lassie at the counter that we'd sit outside - inside was almost full. Everything went well, food and all was lovely. Until... A member of staff came out to clear the plates - we were still drinking our coffees and chatting. I had lifted my vape and taken one puff from it when the staff member said something to me which I didn't hear properly. "Sorry, what did you say?" I asked her politely. "No vaping" she barked back. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't...." She cut across me again snapping and pointing behind her to the entry of the outdoor area whilst shoving her face into mine "There are signs up" I leaned to one side to see the sign as it was impossible to see with her face in such close proximity to mine - she was leaning across Tony who was sitting between me and the place where she was standing - extremely intimidating behaviour. I said what I saw on the sign "No smoking. Sorry I though because [we were outside] she was already talking over me, again snapping. "You think it should say no vaping. Is that it?" I was taken aback at this stage. I looked at her puzzled and said "No. I didn't..." She was off again. This time I cut across her. "Excuse me, can I finish my sentence?" She grinned. "I was merely trying to say I didn't know that smoking wasn't allowed in the outdoor space but you repeatedly talked over me and wouldn't let me finish. You have been very rude. But I forgive you." "Huh," she snorted, "Forgive me for What?" - she almost SPAT out the "What". At that point I knew what I was dealing with and was not going to spend another moment in that company. I firmly said to my kids "Come On. We're leaving." And I stood up whilst telling her "For being so rude and obnoxious." I turned and began to exit the premises. The entire time I was walking away from her, she was spewing verbal abuse after me. Tony and Leah couldn't move with shock. I turned around to her as I stood in the entryway and she was over at the far table, I put my two open hands out in front of my body and firmly stated "I reject your foul and abusive behaviour". She was so proud of herself with a big smirk on her face. I again turned around to Tony and Leah to snap them out of it "Come On Now. We're leaving. Right Now." And we did. Now for one moment I was tempted to walk straight into the Cafe and demand to speak to the manager. But I was angry and if I had walked into the cafe to relive that after just going through it - well I would not have been SPEAKING to anyone so I chose to walk away. All three of us chose to walk away. Because all three members of my family refuse to piss all over someone else's evening in the same manner that little upstart in Datse's pissed all over ours. I don't think I need state that I will NEVER be going back in there again and a lot of our friends won't be going there or recommending them to anyone either after that performance. Shame on you madam.

25/11/2025: We went in to celebrate My Nieces 15th Birthday, they were so accommodating and nice, we had brought a cake and they said they would bring it out at the end of the meal no issue. We apologise for the tornado that is my 11 month old daughter, she made quite a mess but they were lovely about it. Food was delicious 😋

16/03/2026: Beautiful restaurant,food is so fresh and tasty and is always a pleasure to come back. Service is super fast and the stuff-top class! We will be back for sure 👌

12/03/2026: Food: we tried their Tom Yum soup, chicken wings, potato fries and chicken and cashew curry. Everything was quite delicious service: service was a bit slow Atmosphere: the vibe of the restaurant is super charming. Even their menu is very creative

22/02/2026: Very bad experience. My friend from London experienced racism at the hands of two bouncers. When we inquired with the management about what the problem was, my friend was told he looked ‘obnoxious’. Do not come here.

22/02/2026: Their pizza used to be good, but recently is just terrible, to much source on the pizza is is barely possible to taste anything but the poor tomate sauce. Don't recomend much butter go to Dunees and buy frozen pizza there.

10/06/2025: I’ve no idea why there isn’t reviews calling out the extortionate prices of a coffee from Mocha Beans?! I’m a regular Pearse commuter and sometimes give in to a coffee from here knowing… a small cappuccino with almond milk costs €5.20. That’s insane. Alt/ non dairy milk is either cheaper or soya milk is at least free in most coffee shops (albeit soya milk is pure gick). They charge 60c extra for all non-dairy milk. Base price for their smallest cappuccino is €4.60 which is still mad but base price in Dublin unfortunately. Think about it- 60c for coffee with non-dairy milk. Say a carton of non dairy milk would cover 15 coffees. That would round up the cost of one of their cartons of almond/ soya/ oat/ coconut milk to €9, A carton of these mills costs just over €3 and you can get cheaper with generic brands (which I’m sure mocha beans do). The mark up just for having non- dairy is robbery. I dunno if they count on people ignoring price as people on platform are often tired after a days work or tired first thing in morning after train but it’s crazy. The coffee is decent but not near other known vendors who get away with a coffee for over a fiver. Avoid avoid avoid no matter how much your commuter caffeine craving tells you otherwise

18/02/2026: Everything was beyond amazing. Everything you expect from a small Irish bar and town. The bartender Joan was so full of information and so welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect. This is an absolute MUST in Cashel. I’m so thankful I stumbled upon this pub.

19/11/2025: I spent over a week at Craddockstown Golf Club and I have to say it’s a very friendly place. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming – I was even given a delicious coffee, which really made my day. The golfers were also very pleasant and often had a few nice words to say. A great atmosphere and a very positive experience overall.

01/03/2026: The hotel is in a fantastic location; we basically only got around on foot from there and explored everything. It's just steps from Grafton Street, so you can go for a stroll in the evening. I gave the service four stars because I found a dirty towel upon arrival; they changed it right away. Otherwise, if they installed a shower stall that closes completely, it wouldn't be a lake in the bathroom. Highly recommended for its location and price.
