The best restaurants

08/11/2025: Had my birthday meal here last night. There was a group of 14. We all ordered different dishes and we all thought the food was delicious. Our servers were excellent, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The cocktails were also delicious. The atmosphere is cosy and warm. Fast service, food is delicious and atmosphere welcoming and cosy. I would recommend 100%

07/11/2025: Thought I'd drop in for a sneaky pint before a movie. Ordered a pint 15 min still waiting. I do not recommend this place to any one. They were serving peow that came in after me

22/10/2025: Stopped in for a quick Irish coffee, stayed for a couple pints after that. Nice cozy spot. Bartenders friendly and welcoming- even when it gets very busy :)

24/06/2025: The owner was remarkably rude and openly disdainful towards American tourists specifically. Scoffed at my request to use my own cup in front of a room of 5 other men implying he didn’t want to touch the lid or have it under his machines— fair enough I suppose. From there he gave a distinct air of self-importance that was honestly laughable. He’s not a waiter in Paris ffs, he’s slinging coffees and cakes in Waterford. La-di-dah, sure mammy is very proud. Note to the man himself: if you’re as unpleasant with other patrons as you were with me, that’s why you’re not getting tips. Don’t assume you’re any better than anyone else either, self exceptionalism is what makes Americans so annoying and frankly, you reek of it. Hypocrite. The coffee was fine though. Thanks.

17/06/2025: Great place, just right amount food for lunch and reasonably priced. Sandwiches, coffee and dessert was excellent.

22/07/2025: Recently ordered party food to cater for 60/70 people. Food was roasting hot and was a big hit. Prices very reasonable i have to say and food was amazing. Would definitely order for party again.

27/10/2025: Tried this place out on a Saturday for brunch. Egg toasty was solid and the americano coffee hit the spot.

25/09/2025: Had the stake sandwich. The bread fell apart , soggy bottom . No flavour. chips were over cooked.

24/09/2025: We had dinner here recently and were initially very happy with the pub itself and the friendly service. Unfortunately, both my partner and I became seriously ill with food poisoning symptoms after eating a steak-sandwich and ribs. We reached out to the pub directly, explained the situation politely, and asked for a refund. Unfortunately, we never received any response. It’s a real shame, because the place seemed nice but the lack of reaction and accountability after such a serious issue leaves us very disappointed.

18/10/2025: Disrespectful guy at the main door, we were denied the entrance on a not very polite way, we were a group bigger than 6 people. He told us to go to another area, of course! We don’t want to spend our money here at all!!

14/09/2025: Very nice place, easy check-inn. Clean and tidy room . Restaurants nearby for diner. The bar West End bar is very nice to have a drink in the evening. The Irish breakfast is very tasty.

18/10/2025: Great place for a brunch with interesting options. Usually extremely busy so beware! Good food.

12/10/2025: Just happened to be passing and they found me a table. The service was wonderful and very quick, the food was sooooo good, the butternut squash risotto was up there with the best meals I’ve had. Would fly back to Ireland just to eat there again. Highly recommended.

16/10/2025: Medicore food, fishiest prawns I've ever eaten and no crushed nuts on the Pad Thai!? Sacrilege. Much better food in Dublin for a more reasonable price too!

08/09/2025: Went to this place yesterday. Seems like a family-run restaurant, run by an old man and his wife. The old man was very polite and also served us very well. He was also super considerate by mentioning about the ingredients in a certain dish weren't suitable for vegans. The food tasted amazing, seemed authentic, and was quite-filling too. The restaurant gave a very homely vibe, which I liked quite a bit. Would definitely visit the restaurant again if I have the opportunity to.

28/08/2025: Fish tacos are very, very good!!!! Lamb sandwich was also top notch! One of my favorites now.

11/11/2025: Had a really nice lunch here with a good friend. A great atmosphere, lovely bright premises. I noticed the Christmas tree which added to the atmosphere. A nice choice on the menu. Staff great. Good value. Big carpark. Wheelchair accessible.
