02/12/2025: Lovely quite bar we found,Very friendly staff. Lovely pint off Guinness, and Coors i was drinking.Not bad price aswell.will be returning.

01/02/2026: Had a quick lunch and coffee there. Course was closed due to floods. Certainly a golf course for excersise.

23/03/2026: I recently ordered from Pizza Max Dundrum and overall had a decent experience. The pizza was hot, fresh, and quite filling especially good for a late night meal. The delivery was reasonably quick, which is a big plus when you’re hungry late in the evening.

27/03/2026: The hotel is centrally located which was very helpful. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was great. The ladies we came in contact with at the front desk were the least friendly of all of our hotel stays, which was disappointing.

06/03/2026: I visited this place with a group of six friends and we all ordered food and drinks, including myself. In total we spent around €120, so I was not there eating for free. Because of medical dietary restrictions and food intolerances, I brought a small salad since there were no suitable options on the menu (even after buying a pizza and a drink to support the business). The owner approached our table in an aggressive manner, raised his voice, and told me it was his business and that I should leave if I didn’t like it. I tried to explain my situation but wasn’t given the chance. He was extremely rude. I respect that businesses can have their own policies, but the way I was treated was very disrespectful.

20/12/2025: Lana food is always lovely. Today I accidently placed an order in the Waterford restaurant instead of the Mayo restaurant and the lady in Waterford was exceptional in dealing with my mistake and was able to redirect my meal to the correct restaurant. Thank you for the excellent customer service in both restaurants

23/08/2025: Disappointed in the experience for lunch, we were expecting more but for lunch the menu is quite limited. The salmon salad was basic and the service was a bit slow. The atmosphere must be better for dinner but for lunch was underwhelming.

19/08/2025: We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of Irish meadows. The coffee was very, very good from a portafilter machine. They even had oat milk for the cappuccino or café latte. Really good! We also had warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream – absolutely delicious! The service was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time, thank you :)

18/03/2026: Not happy at all. I was in Eddie Rockets Drogheda Mother's Day 15th/March/2026, 19.23hrs. First we were seated and then the manager approached our table soon afterwards and asked if we were splitting the bill and paying card or cash we were then asked to pay before we even ate, 76.55 euro was the bill. I was with my partner, her daughter and friend, they are 12 years old. My partner lives in Drogheda all her life and it was her and the kids first time eating at Eddie Rockets Drogheda. I quired why we were being asked to pay before we ate as I've eaten all over the world and this had never happened to me or my partner before and I knew it was wrong, the lady/ manager who approach our table and was also working behind the counter said it was after 6pm and it was policy. Needless to say me and my partner were mortified and it didn't help that other people at other tables who knew me from working in the community were staring at our table. The manager demanded payment upfront from two teenage boys also but nobody else. The manager then apologised and offered me a 20 euro voucher and also offered our table free desert which was turned down. I was accepting the 6pm explanation until another few members of the the community came in and set at 3 different tables after we arrived and we're given their receipts for food and did not have to pay until they had finished their meal. Upon leaving I gave the voucher back. I believe we were profiled, pigeon holed etc and we got the impression that manager was expecting us to run or otherwise without paying after we ate. I also believe the book was judged by it's cover we were not wearing formal wear but were neatly dressed, it shouldn't matter but it is what happened in our case. I have worked in the community in Drogheda 14 years. I'm not impressed and I will never eat there again or recommend the place to anyone. This is in no way a reflection on other establishments in the Drogheda area which I have eaten in for 30 years now and have found them to be very good. I don't complain but I feel so strong about our experience.

22/02/2026: Great pub serving locally brewed craft beers and solid Guinness

09/10/2025: Craic was 90, ambiance was 90. The heart and soul of the Ramelton community can be felt under that thatched roof. A roaring fireplace, some incomprehensible accents (we’re American), and lovely photos of a coconut headed man and his trusted donkey will make you feel right at home.

28/02/2026: Grand spot, the view is nice, I had a fish and chips, the fish was very mushy no flavour lots of water, my wife ask the waiter in the end, and he said it was made from frozen fish, so there you go

07/02/2026: Outstanding restaurant cuisine The haddock is absolutely superb!

15/03/2026: Booked a table of 4 and somehow the system showed up as 3 and this seemed to be our error not the restaurant so from the get go we were under starting orders to complete the meal in I hour 20 mins (btw there was no time stipulated when booking). We were reminded of this requirement in a number of occasions which was really annoying. Food was ok, pizzas are pricey, and I had salmon which was small for the €30 price tag. Back to the starter gun one of the waiters came to our table to advice that they get kindly had added an extra 10 mins to our time, when it's your error own it and don't let the customer take responsibility.

09/03/2026: Really nice restaurant, inside layout excellent, terrific views of howth and surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, Recommended but parking can be challenging.
