15/02/2026: The breakfast is fantastic value. The quality of ingredients are very good and it's really quite tasty. Full of work people, you know it's a good place to eat.

02/02/2026: I visited this place today and absolutely loved every bit of the experience. The dessert was delicious and beautifully prepared. The service was outstanding, and the owner treated us with such warmth and care that it made the visit even more special. I would recommend this place and would love to visit again.

15/02/2026: Breakfast food ok 5 of us in total had fill Breakfast hit or miss eyes undercooked on 2 undercooked on 1 . Tea toast arrived 5 mins before hot breakfast so toast then cold mushrooms arrived with a spice mixed in then horrible and rubbery liked canned or frozen rashers obviously batch cooked and kept warm some were browned some not.Place was very cold in there jackets had to be left on.

25/03/2026: Food was only ok. Service was only ok though the girl was lovely. I realize they are in the process of upgrading and it was mother's day but they should have been better prepared. We were overcharged for a large table of 8 when there was only 7 of us and 4 of them were children. All in all a disappointment

09/03/2026: For a Guinness not rested at all, poured at I dunno 6/5ths and told that's how it's done in Ireland. Last pub on my Ireland visit and every bar so far has taken pride - won't let it put a sour mouth in my mouth, but what a shame

03/10/2025: A gem of a spot in Blackpool. Doorstep sandwiches have generous portions, not to mention all the delicious cakes and breads they make in-house. Staff have always been friendly and professional. I always make time to call to Brackens when in the area.

04/03/2026: I think we made the mistake of going here over the weekend. We had a booking but were asked to leave in about 70-75 minutes. The server's hair went into my friend's bagel while they were leaning over the table serving us. Their weekday sandwiches are pretty good usually but I probably wouldn't go back here for brunch.

19/02/2026: Lovely sandwiches but often burnt offerings when get for takeaway, really shouldn't be going out the door.

11/07/2025: Good choice of grocery also extended hall for closing and homeware department. They have installed fresh orange juice machine and coffee beans machine on the floor area and more choices inside.

23/12/2025: Food is absolutely amazing.. Everytime, just the right portion size, the salt and vinegar is bang on, the dips are flavorsome.. I would like to know the story of the owners and where their passion comes from? The decor is great too..

23/09/2025: Food was 25 minutes late. Baring in mind I live straight up the road. No vinegar on chips, curry sauce was like a thick puree you couldnt pour, food was cold and they forgot a drink. Tried to ring multiple times but couldn't get through. Won't be ordering again as its not the first time there's been issues. Cheek to charge that much and be that late.

01/10/2025: We stopped in for lunch here with lower expectations after striking out several times in Donegal Town. We arrived around 1:30pm to a full house except for one table for 2. Great atmosphere. Lovely welcome/greeting from busy but accommodating staff. 4 lunch specials were offered in addition to the menu in this smallish bistro! I ordered the carbonara pasta and asked for a side Caesar salad which was no problem even though not available on the menu as a side. Hubby ordered the special chicken curry. Both were delicious! I loved the pasta but was especially impressed with the flavours and fresh ingredients of the Caesar salad. All food is made fresh to order. My husband commented on how perfectly cooked (ie not overcooked) the vegetables in his curry were. Looking forward to breakfast there tomorrow 🤗
