17/07/2026: Just got a lovely take away! The buger was absolutely amazing!! Never had a pay meal from Toacana ardee!

05/09/2026: If you have 30 minutes to sit not being served in a drive thru then this place is for you. If not then avoid, useless slow, waste of time.

20/08/2026: Had a wonderful meal today and a fresh warm drink, it was quick and friendly service. The one thing I did see that really annoyed me was a young man been sent out to "sweep" "pick" litter around the drive thru during torential rain and wind. This is no way to treat an animal let alone another person. While I get they may be new how are they ever going to learn walking around a drive thru over and over looking for stuff to do? Management should do better awful to see "jobs" like this going on in this day and age.

13/06/2026: The locals seem to stare at you a bit but that’s okay, I feel the same in my local. Good priced Guinness and really nice outdoor area. I loved the decor inside and the staff were top notch. Wish my local had Guinness this good.

09/05/2026: An absolutely fantastic authentic Irish pub away from the tourist traps, clean and real traditional decor. The service is either table or bar and they are super fast and efficient, the prices are reasonable compared to some. A proper locals pub but even as complete outsiders we were made to feel extremely welcome by everyone. !!!!!HOWEVER!!!!! Visited on a Friday night as it was kareoke night which in one sense was very good some cracking local singers, but its ran by two brothers who set up and then sing 7 or more songs between them first before getting anyone else up to do KAREOKE, there was four of us who all really wanted to sing as it was our only time visiting so we were the first to put our names down at around 8.45 so bearing in mind the pub doesn't close till half 12. After speaking with maybe 20 locals who all said its so nice to meet new people in the pub and hear them sing they were quite excited. 2 of our group sang midway through the night despite being first to put our names down, and every person they get up to sing sings two songs in a row. I was asked by the locals why I hadn't sang yet and I couldn't answer so a couple of them spoke to the two guys running it and they said "yeah we will get them on soon" So we sat and waited patiently and got drinks from the bar and then at 0045 the brothers call another man up to sing and then say "sorry we couldn't get everyone up tonight this guy will be the last singer" Disappointed, Deflated and disheartened were three words I'd use. But don't let this stop you visiting the pub its a great place just don't go with the intentions of hoping to do kareoke as you may end up like me waiting 3 and a half hours and not even get called up. I feel I'm being very fair dropping a star on this review.

07/05/2026: I live locally and had to wait around the area for a while, I decided to get some breakfast in Ketts kitchen, I'd never tried it before. I was blown away with the place, I ordered the full Irish breakfast and it was delicious, everything from the presentation to the friendly staff and the relaxed atmosphere, I loved the place and will definitely give them my business again. Keep up the great work, it felt like a was in Avoca and not Tallaght, delightful place 👌

07/09/2026: I visited Boojum this evening to get a burrito bowl, and unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the girls serving there. At the time, there were only two customers in the restaurant, including me, so it was not particularly busy. The girl was initially serving another customer, but in between serving them, she repeatedly asked me what I wanted. I clearly told her that I wanted a burrito bowl, but she asked me multiple times even though I had already answered. What made the situation uncomfortable was that there was another customer as well, and she did not ask them what they wanted in the same way she was repeatedly questioning me. Later, another girl took over and served me. When I went to the till, the first girl asked me if I wanted a drink. I said yes, and because I wasn’t sure whether I was supposed to take the drink myself from the shelves, I asked if I could take it from there. She either didn’t hear me properly or misunderstood me and then asked again, in what came across as a very rude and dismissive manner, whether I wanted a drink. I again said yes, I wanted one. She continued asking repeatedly, despite me already making my answer clear. I understand that staff can be busy, and I have no issue with being asked to clarify my order. However, considering there were only two customers there, I found the way I was spoken to particularly unnecessary. The facial expressions, tone and overall attitude made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. What particularly stood out to me was that she was being very pleasant with the other customer, but her attitude towards me was noticeably different. I don’t know why, and I don’t want to make assumptions, but as a customer, I expect to be treated with the same basic courtesy and respect as everyone else. I am not complaining about the food or the service time. My concern is specifically about the attitude and manner in which I was treated. Staff members are representing the business, and even when interacting with customers, basic politeness and respect should be maintained. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that the situation can be addressed so other customers don’t have a similar experience.

05/09/2026: Boojum is very tasty a d the portions are very filling. The price is as expected and they also offer a good student discount. The toilets in this location are clean and there is plenty of space to eat, both inside and outside. I would give five stars if Boojum provided nutritional information about the food, as it tastes significant more fatty/oily than competitors.

01/09/2026: ordered from here tonight. Food was perfection. portion was big and food was hot, ofc delicious too.Delivered right on time and the delivery man was nice. I asked for a modification of my order that was not on the menu and they attended to that perfectly which they didn’t have to since it’s not on the menu. Could not have had a better experience 100/10

12/07/2026: We had our Day Two celebrations at the Haven Hotel last Saturday and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, Grace and Karen made everything so easy to organise. Nothing was ever too much trouble, every question was answered quickly and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. On the day itself, Paul and Grace were absolutely exceptional. They had everything running seamlessly, were always one step ahead and made sure we never had to worry about a thing. The BBQ food was incredible. So many guests commented on how good it was and the service throughout the day was flawless. The staff were friendly, attentive and couldn’t do enough for us or our guests. The bar staff really looked after us, in particular Daryl was an absolute legend! And of course a big shout out to Riley the boxer, another guest favourite ❤️ We honestly couldn’t recommend the Haven Hotel highly enough. If you’re thinking of hosting a wedding Day Two or any special event, this is the place to do it. Thank you to Grace, Karen, Paul and the entire team for making it such a memorable day. You exceeded every expectation and we’re so grateful for everything you did.

05/07/2026: Although I didn't stay overnight, I was at the Haven Hotel for a concert and had a great night. The whole event was really well run and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. I loved the décor and the atmosphere throughout the hotel. The bathrooms were immaculate too, which I appreciate at a busy event. The real star of the show was Reilly, the resident Boxer dog. A fantastic venue for live music and look forward to returning for a stay.

14/09/2026: The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but the staff managed to find us a table, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the pizza itself was disappointing. Considering it is cooked in a wood-fired oven, we expected a nicely baked, slightly crispy base and crust. Instead, the dough was very soft and had the texture and appearance of being undercooked in places. It just didn't have the crispness or flavour we would normally expect from a proper wood-fired pizza. We didn't mention it to the staff at the time as we were in a hurry and had a long drive home ahead of us, so we simply ate what we could and left. The place was very busy and clearly popular, and the staff were accommodating, but based on the pizza we were served, unfortunately our experience didn't live up to the expectations.

07/09/2026: It is always a pleasure to dine at the Brick Oven. We normally opt to sit it, but have on occasion gotten takeaway. Everything is always perfect. The service is excellent, the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. It is a lovely restaurant with fantastic staff. Highly recommend.
