The best restaurants

12/06/2026: Lovely, dog-friendly cafe with really nice staff. The coffee was great, the chicken goujon wrap was incredible and the banana bread was also amazing. Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: A very pleasant place to stop on the way from Cork to Dublin. Although not immediately obvious when driving up and down the Main Street of Cashel, it is worth finding. The coffee is delicious and so are the scones. We would like to make two suggestions for improvement: (1) Listen carefully when taking an order - we ordered one jug of hot milk to go with one americano - we got three jugs of cold milk. (2) Improve the quality of the jam served with the scones. Otherwise, well done and thank you.

12/08/2026: Best chip shop I’ve ever been to. We popped in for a Spice Box and a curry chip and they were both amazing! The shop is spotlessly clean and one thing that came to my attention was that when both members of staff took cash payments they wash their hands before carrying on cooking the food! Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

17/07/2026: Small coffee shop, a little hidden next to a swimming club. Great food and service, the ladies working there are really nice.

15/08/2026: Three night stay. Comfortable double room. Pleasant overhead rainforest shower. Lighting was a bit dim though in main and bathroom. Air conditioning didn't quite work, but the room wasn't too bad ventilation wise despite the summer heat. Top marks for the Osprey Bar that fed and watered me superbly. Options included chicken and chorizo tagliatelle (4+/5), burger stack (4/5), cajun chicken Cesar salad (5/5) and double peperoni pizza (4+/5).

24/08/2026: A lovely place, really clean and well ran and the food was good, these type of places are a real plus for every town

28/07/2026: On our way to Dublin Airport from Killarney found this great spot. Full of locals. Best desserts & sandwiches while others had dinner. Friendly staff. Well worth the stop.

17/07/2026: The cafe at Teeling is my daily ritual with our cockapoo Charley. I can't say enough about the incredible staff and outstanding coffee. I've never had a daily coffee (& dog treat routine) that now feels like a community. Whoever is doing employee recruitment finds just fantastic people! Dogs are not only welcome here but will feel lots and lots of love.

01/07/2026: They dropped half my food on the floor and offered to replace it with different food I could not eat, not a refund. I paid for a full sandwich and only got half. Also kitchen is very cross contaminated, my veggie sandwich was cut on a tray where I could see meat from other sandwiches still on it. Friend's drink had to be remade twice due to allergens. Food is fine, but would recommend steering clear if you have allergens or are vegetarian.

21/08/2026: This is a great place to buy unique gifts and items. The food and drink are top notch. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend a stop with or without a tour of the Hill of Tara.

06/09/2026: On holiday from England and so pleased we found this place. Excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. If you come to Sneem this is where you need to eat.
