10/08/2026: We visited P. Egan while spending the day in Moate, as we knew Michael Jackson had visited this pub during his time living in Ireland. From the moment we arrived, Paul welcomed us with such warmth and kindness and made our visit feel truly special. It’s a beautiful traditional Irish pub, full of character, history and a lovely atmosphere. We’re so grateful to Paul for taking the time to talk with us, share stories and make us feel so welcome. Being there already had a very special meaning for us because of Michael, but Paul’s kindness made the experience even more memorable. Thank you so much, Paul. We will definitely come back! ♥️

13/07/2026: Iconic, 200+ year- old pub, the watering hole of celebrities and film stars over the decades (inc stars of "Dallas."). Welcoming host, professional, friendly service and great 'craic' to be had by all. Ideal for parties, events. It's like stepping back in time with the traditional pub atmosphere and old-fashioned Irish 'service with a smile.'

30/07/2026: Hidden away this sandwich bar was exactly what we needed. Staff were incredibly friendly, kids had sausage rolls (warm) and I had the chicken Caesar bagel, all came with salad, crisps and choice of sauce. All food tasted and felt fresh. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat! Thanks ladies :)

27/05/2026: Was really impressed with my stay here. Very close to the beach. I unfortunately didn’t get any names of the staff but it was one girl in the dining room and a very friendly man at the front desk. They were very welcoming and accommodated us perfectly. The room was basic but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast we had was a bonus and it was very tasty and the girl was a very friendly server. They let us use facilities after checkout since we spent the day at the beach before leaving Lahinch. I would definitely come back here if I ever visit again!

17/08/2026: As a family we have been customers of The Khyber for 25 years and the food and service has been consistently of a high standard. Delivery’s are always hot on arrival, an order has never been wrong, and service has always been timely and with a smile. Would recommend The Khyber to anyone who enjoys Indian food 😃

06/04/2026: I had an amazing experience at V&J. The view was absolutely incredible and made the whole stay even more special. What really stood out were the little details — everything was thoughtfully arranged and added a unique touch that you don’t often find. The kindness and warm welcome from the cooples made a huge difference as well. They were attentive, friendly, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. 11/07/2026: Great pizza, lots of toppings, very tasty. Fully recommend making the trip out to grab pizza from Luigi's! Regarding one of the other reviews, the tub of garlic dip was slightly pricey, BUT it's a large tasty tub of garlic!

07/02/2026: Great place that's definitely worth a visit. Pizzas where very nice, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was very welcoming. You can tell a lot of pride is taken by the people working here and this is reflected in the delicious product they provide you with.
