15/10/2025: Stopped in for the carvery. Lovely grub and friendly staff

06/10/2025: Had dinner here with my family on the 3/10/25. however,il be brief.food all round was awful.3bowls of carbonara not eaten.plain pasta in creamy water,with lumps of chicken&fatty bacon thrown in&soggy garlic bread also thrown im2the food.17euro a portion&2were childrens.burnt gougons&chips.we ordered2drinks&it took a half hour2bring them over.the food tasted nothing better than barfood leftovers from an ALaCarte menu.this place was recommened2us but they clearly have no tastebuds.the star is for the birthday wish.so disapointed theres not much else to say.i certainly wont be going back with my family or recommending2anyone i know home or abroad..

28/02/2026: Excellent experience for afternoon tea. Refills of sandwiches and scones are unlimited. The scones and pastries are truly delicious. The only slight drawback was that the sandwiches were a little bland. A wide selection of teas and a few coffees are available. The setting is beautiful (special mention for the fresh flowers). Thank you, Claudia, for serving us so professionally.

23/12/2025: I was there last weekend for a few drinks with neighbours. The atmosphere is excellent and the service was fast and really good waiters and waitresses. We had 3 drinks and spent almost 30€, which is kinda ok. I haven't tried the food, but it looked really nice and the menu very interesting. Seems like they put a lot of care on what they serve. We requested a quieter area (it can get noisy) and there is this little table for 7/8 people in a little room that was just perfect. Looking forward to trying their food!

21/11/2025: This place used to be great. New chef is good. The food is good. Used to be great with the spicy chicken but it’s still good . There’s been a big turnover of managers. There’s a new guy there now. He has changed the whole vibe. We used to go there a lot. Not so much now. He is rude and unfriendly. Tries to be efficient but manages to come across as bossy and grumpy. His interaction with the staff is appalling. Some staff said reluctantly but very respectfully that he’s hard to work under. We left our most recent visit early and went elsewhere as we felt under pressure and unwelcome. It seems Pat has taken a step back and left Mary Kate and this new guy Glenn to run the show. It seems to have lost the friendly local vibe and some of the long standing amazing staff have left.

05/03/2026: We had a fabulous lunch here. Staff were excellent. We couldn't fault. Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: Thank god this restaurant is back on track. It went a bit off track for a while and we stopped going. Now whatever happened it's back to the way it should be. Superb menu . Great staff and prices are right. Compliments to the kitchen on taste and presentation. 10/10 top marks

28/01/2026: One of the best crêpes you can have just outside Dublin. Also my French friends approved it :) very very good crêpes and galettes bien sûr. Nice little crêperie,cozy atmosphere with loads of nice little souvenirs,postcards and little furniture pieces from France. Friendly staff. Good location not too far from seaside front of Greystones.

14/01/2026: This place is my favorite spot. Me and my husband have been so many times and it's our go to on weekends. I have also brought all family and friends who visited, recently 2 weeks ago my auntie and she absolutely loved it. Only thing I wish is that we could book a table as they are super busy sometimes the wait can be too long. Other than that absolutely fab.

18/03/2026: Had a great experience at The Silver Oak Indian Restaurant. Delicious authentic Indian food, outstanding service, and very friendly staff. Loved the atmosphere with Bollywood music. Highly recommended! ⭐

15/02/2026: By far the best Indian Restaurant I have been to. Very accessible as they have a lift that takes you straight up to the restaurant. Inside, there is a wine bar, lovely decor and the music was really on par with everything. I ordered a Mango Lassi, which was creamy and not overly sweet, a chicken korma, by far the best I've ever had, and a side of peshwari naan. Our meal also came with poppadoms and a selection of dips. The staff were polite, service was great, a new fav for a date night!

26/07/2025: Very expensive (euro 20+) and decent take out pizza

15/01/2026: Lovely food. Usually good service. Not today though. The girl behind the counter taking orders and money was completely disinterested. No eye contact. No smile. Rude. When you're there to spend almost 20 rag for your munch for breakfast you'd like to feel like you're welcomed to the establishment. Not today. The nose ringed, arm tattooed, gum chewing cashier just didn't make us feel welcomed. That's enough to sway me to never patronise the calf gaff ever again. Shame really. Coz as I say... The food is good. I'm not gonna be made feel like an unwanted customer though. Unwanted? Fair enough. They're not getting my service again. Bye bye.

23/11/2025: I had a craving for a good toastie all week and I immediately thought of De Calf. Toastie is excellent. Nice coffee. Friendly and efficient service. Warm atmosphere.

20/01/2026: Brunch was really nice, really worth to give a try. Service was good and fast. Unfortunately, some drinks on the menu were not available. I would recommend it tho

17/01/2026: Where do I start never one to leave a review but the service was appalling, waiting 25 minutes seated for our order to be taken and 3 separate people walk in and get seated and served straight away so I decided to ask can we order as it's been 25 minutes already if I hadn't of asked the lady we would be left sitting there. We then get told there was no breakfast left even tho the previous 3 other people had all just ordered deluxe and large breakfast not even moments ago to be told there is none left disgraceful service to say the least will never be returning again.
