29/08/2025: Cosy cafe, extremely friendly staff, Tuna ciabatta was lovely and the club sandwich is unreal as well. Even the side salad was lovely! Cappuccinos are fab. Lovely place to hang out on your own too. Come early to get nice window seat or you can reserve also.

25/07/2025: Always nice coffee and cappuccino, breakfast and crepes very good too. Nice atmosphere.

01/11/2025: A small authentic italian restaurant and cafe. The dish feels like being in Italy. Service is great. Seats are mostly outside (under a shelter nonetheless), but if you get a bit cold, you can order the best coffee or cioccolato caldo of Dublin.

25/10/2025: Totally unseasoned caprese sandwich. No flavour. 1 extra star for the bread, which was nice.

31/05/2025: On the way from Valentia Island, we stopped at a tiny restaurant. I was positively surprised by the fresh and good food. Clean and intimate. Prices reasonable. Fish and chips 16.50... I recommend it.

24/08/2025: Typical (as of old) Irish pub, serving food until the afternoon. Service not particularly friendly. For the rest, nice atmosphere if you like traditional places. Mostly frequented by locals.

29/08/2025: Liene made us very welcome and did not rush us to order. A lovely and welcoming atmosphere with really comfortable chairs with high backs which I love. Portions are very generous and the wine list is very affordable with a good selection. This has become my "go to" place of choice to eat and relax in Listowel.

02/11/2025: I received an email the day before our arrival saying check in from 2 pm. When we arrived at 2.30 the place was shut. I had to ring and got a chef/cook to open the side door. When entering the hotel the man asked my name and said oh yea you are in room —- he showed us where it was and that was our check in 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ the hotel is about 20 km from the nearest town. When we went back that evening to have a drink in bar that’s when we were told what time breakfast was at 8.45-9.30. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating but I just didn’t expect the hotel to be as far out of the way from everything. The breakfast was lovely but didn’t get a choice was asked did we want full breakfast and that’s what we got. This hotel would suit walkers or bikers but not really a family holiday. We had booked in for two nights but only stayed one!

14/08/2025: ⸻ I had poached eggs with bacon, toast, tomatoes, fries, and an Americano coffee. Everything was delicious! The plates were big, and the chef was so friendly and polite. The place has a nice atmosphere, fresh food, and fast service. I loved it and I totally recommend it!

23/08/2025: What a magnificent place to stay. The staff are always on hand to give you great advice on activities on the island and help with any questions you might have. The bar is an amazing place to eat too! Highly highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

18/10/2025: I could not fault the rendezvous. We have been there for food as a family and we recently just celebrated my daughters 2nd birthday. We had a fantastic spread of finger food for 10 adults, fabulous variety and gorgeous quality. We were looked after by Josh from the booking to paying the bill and I could not find fault in the whole day. The service was impeccable the food was exceptional and nothing we asked for was too much. The extra attention to detail given to the kids with colouring and ice cream which was really appreciated. Compliments to the chef on a beautiful spread of food. We've also eaten from the main menu previously and the options were fantastic, an option for all. Definitely somewhere to go for a party, a few drinks or a Sunday/Saturday afternoon.

04/11/2025: Great hotel! Clean… the beds are absolutely wonderful!!! Extra large and super comfortable!!! The reception staff were very friendly… the only downside is the hotel parking… there aren't many spaces and it's a bit expensive, but parking in Dublin is expensive if you're near the city center. Good location, a 10-minute walk along the river to the Temple area. A bit noisy at night; we heard a lot of people coming back from parties in the area and even in the hotel, maybe because it was Halloween. But 100% recommended!

01/11/2025: Only downside bath in rooms. Maybe walkin showers. No egg cups for boiled eggs.
