The best restaurants

30/10/2025: We heard good things about this café, so we decided to try it. Unfortunately, the pastries didn’t seem fresh, the almond croissant was raw inside. The coffee was mediocre. The bread was left out in the open, and I saw people leaning over it with their clothing touching it. There was also a dirty cloth on one table that looked like it had once been white but was now brown. I won’t be returning.

01/10/2025: This is a hidden treasure! We enjoyed the Ham and cheese baguette, along with a pear pastry. Both delicious

29/08/2025: We had a wonderful family dinner here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. The portion sizes were generous and perfect for sharing, which made it easy for everyone to try different dishes. Some of our favorites were the [prawn salt chilli chiken,miso soup,sushi,], all cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to bring everything we needed, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place for family gatherings. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for delicious, authentic Chinese food and a comfortable dining experience with loved ones.

16/08/2025: We decided to try it because we saw sushi on the menu. It's hard to call them sushi. Spisy bag is not good either. Sweet and sour... There are better Chinese restaurants in town.

12/03/2026: I arrived at 1 p.m. because, as a pilot, I had no choice. Thinking I would be able to get a room around 2 p.m., I waited until 4 p.m. The room was ready, but Raquel at reception wouldn't listen to reason. The hotel wasn't full. What's more, there were cobwebs in the room.

28/02/2026: Hi I I am writing this review just to let us know that I used to love going there for dinner and a nice size meal but the last few weeks I was going all I got was a miserable few carrots and potato with under a few slices of roast beef that used to be mean on this portion size now it’s a little few carrots that are soggy and not very nice Please bring back the meal that I used to get.

02/11/2025: Beautiful breakfast place! We went at 10am on Sunday and ordered their full breakfast (€14)and the bacon and maple pancakes (€12.50). Food was absolutely delicious, the girl serving us was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend.

01/11/2025: Food was ok , on entering the fronth glass door was a mess grubby , this place needs a make over , a few big plants and roman blinds to bring down the noise level. Really need to pay attention to tables being properly wiped down and make sure they are steady. Was not what I was expecting Did' nt match with the name , Willow and green. Gave me diner vibes . Staff are lovely friendly, doing their best maybe some need more training. Wont be back 😕

06/01/2026: We visited The Port House recently again, we had been before some time ago and were looking forward to some lovely Spanish tapas, but unfortunately, several dishes fell short of expectations. The Croquetas de Jamón were decent but a bit on the greasy side. The Gambas al Pil Pil lacked flavour entirely—no garlic, chili, or sear—and we couldn't finish them. We mentioned this to our waitress, who kindly offered a replacement, but we declined to avoid food waste, and the dish was removed from the bill without issue. The Chorizo al Vino was okay (I finished most of it as I was hungry), and the Patatas Rotas were average but acceptable. However, the Chicken Paella was mushy with an off flavor (kinda fishy), and we barely touched it (this wasn't adjusted on the bill). We had a couple of nice cocktails: Atlantic Twist and Clover Club. Our glasses of wine were fine, and our server was genuinely friendly and attentive. The front-of-house host, though, came across as quite unwelcoming upon arrival. Overall, a disappointing meal compared to what we'd hoped for based on previous visits.. Service from the waitress was a highlight.

15/01/2026: Great pub, right in the city centre. Perfect for daytime coffee, evveing drinks and afternoon people watching outside. Lovely staff too.

01/03/2026: Baileys Bar now open meal n pint n bnb! Perfect !

19/02/2026: Booked this place for one night stay. They decided to close the place for the day and we were left on the street. Luckily the radison had a room. Check before you go.
