27/08/2025: Such a lovely spot in Tramore! The Surf Hut has a really relaxed, seaside vibe with amazing views across the beach. The coffee is excellent, the snacks are fresh, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Perfect place to stop after a surf or a walk on the beach. Highly recommend! 🌊☕✨

06/05/2025: We ordered their menu A option for a family event. We hadn't to do anything. They included plates, cutlery wrapped in napkins and the water for the ban Marie's. Food arrived early and piping hot. They also told us to just scarpe plates/containers and they would collect all the following day. Nikki arranged all this for us and she was so attentive and helpful prior to the event. Thanks so much.

10/10/2025: I spent 3 days here for a family reunion. Booking was easy and check in was even easier with it all organised before arrival. I stayed in a pod. I was cute and cosy with everything you would need for your stay. The location was so beautiful and having your own beach with stroll along was great. The only thing that would have made this even better was if the restaurant was open. Honestly if it was we would have dined there every day. Thankfully castletownbere wasn't far away to get something to ear. I will definitely return.

22/08/2025: Went on a Thursday eve and sat outside, food was delicious with lots of veggie options, margarita was perfect and service was super attentive. Would recommend a visit when in Killarney. Would recommend the veggie platter - great value for money!

14/10/2025: Nice sandwich and coffee. However, confusing order process. Staff slow to take orders and when paying, you are asked for a tip. There seemed to be little hustle despite a large queue. Staff cook the sandwich in the microwave partly before putting on the toaster, which I didn't like. My sandwich was incorrectly cut also. Staff member cutting my sandwich was also touching the point of sale system and coffee handles before touching my sandwich, which is a hygiene concern. There were people behind the till who also appeared to just be friends of the staff rather than customers, and they got priority on orders. Edit: Owner left an honest reply so bumping to a 4 star*

17/09/2025: Wednesday morning coffee, coffee best in North County Dublin, didnt have anything to eat today. Atmosphere buzzing as usual. Great spot

03/08/2025: We had a wonderful evening at ginley’s , good selction of drinks and beers, we also had the chance to enjoy some amazing traditional music. The guys were very good. As always we love Ireland and Irish people. 🇮🇪

19/10/2025: Happy accident trying Jimmys that left us with no regrets. Great coffee that had a bonus brownie piece, tasty sausage rolls and addictive donuts. Worth a detour if you’re anywhere near Ballina!

18/10/2025: Hit and miss coffee and staff look miserable not to mention the long wait queuing.

19/10/2025: Visited based on a recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it. The food was gorgeous - I had the BBQ chicken burger and my husband had a spicy one, sorry can't remember the exact names. But they were really good, big portions,.the BBQ sauce was divine, we also had a cocktail each and they were really good. Efficient service and happy with the prices. Would definitely visit again.

17/10/2025: The spice bag is toooo salty 🧂, the chef must add 10 cups of salt 💀 The chicken burger was decent though.

26/10/2025: They work hard in The Western Strand ~ We wern't guests in the hotel so we came in 3 minutes before close (8:30pm kitchen closed that Thursday) and there was no issue being seated and menued (shows great kitchen discipline, although try not to do what we did, spare the chef)! They do an open mic on Thursdays which sounded great and added fantastic atmosphere. The food was delicious and the waitress was delightfully friendly. The presentation of the food was tops. Very happy, will be returning for dinner again in the future.

06/08/2025: Stayed over last week for a few days, and I honestly think I couldn’t have stayed anywhere better in the EU for the same price. The room was basic and what you’d expect, the bed was very comfortable and the sower and toilet worked as they should. The coffee and tea facilities were great, and plenty of room to hang your clothes etc.for a single room it was excellent. The pub downstairs was excellent too for food and entertainment on most nights, location is the best in the town. Take it from me you’ll love your stay here, the owners and staff couldn’t do any more for you if they tried. So for the few moaners in the review section you really need to give your head a wobble. 05/11/2025: The food was awful. I thought that being a nice place would guarantee good food, but it was so bland and tasteless. They always give you complimentary water, but when the waitress saw I was a foreigner, she brought me the bottle to charge me extra. Save yourself the trouble! Don't go!

28/10/2025: This is a very nice restaurant, fancy but no one feels out of place. Great menu, including kid's menu. The unfortunate part of our visit was that we weren't super hungry... but the food was still very good! Service courteous. A bit expensive but typical.
