25/08/2025: Probably the worst SuperValu in Ireland’ Make sure you are checking your receipt as prices from the shelf are not matching prices from the receipt’ also a lot of outdated products on the shelves and in the fridges. Very bad management one of the worst i have ever seen 😔’

20/09/2025: We thought we had found our new favorite spot. The coffee was amazing, the atmosphere was warm, and we were genuinely made to feel welcome. We were even guided to a table we loved. That's why it was so jarring when, just 15 minutes after sitting down,with our drinks in hand for only 10,the manager informed us that our table is booked in 10 minutes😅. In Ireland, it's well understood that ordering grants you the right to your seat to enjoy your purchase. They knew this, yet they chose to ask us to leave indirectly. We absolutely loved the place, but we won't be returning. The feeling of disrespect is just too strong. A simple request: just be transparent. If a table has a time limit, tell us before we order and fall in love with the experience. Don't let customers get comfortable only to usher them out the door. Honesty benefits everyone.

19/09/2025: The food is fantastic. Great intention, artistry, balance. Top class. The staff is very nice, but they were increasingly stressed due to the influx of customers, which made the whole (small) restaurant feel stressed as our meal went on. I'm not blaming them, but it definitely impacted our experience. As we were eating, there was a queue forming by us of people coming in the front door. And we're on a small two-person table that genuinely feels like it's going to get knocked over by the throng of people. The location isn't built / designed for both people sitting down, at least how it's laid out, and a large queue. We were looking around to pay for a few minutes near the end of the meal and all the staff seemed preoccupied, so I asked the gentleman who had served us if I should pay at the counter, and he said yes. So I queued behind people coming in for takeaway coffees for a few minutes after the service had been to the table up to that point. I found this kind of messy, to be queuing twice for the same meal. The kicker as to why we're unfortunately not enthusiastic to go back, a lady came in with a dog under her arm whose butt was looming-cum-hovering over my wife's food. This seems to be okay with the management, as she was seated and all, but the mix of flying dog and artisan eggs is not a good breakfast vibe. Amazing food, real nice staff, but too stressy and weirdly laid out to be a relaxing experience for us. My wife didn't finish the end of her food after the dog arrived, which makes the wonderful quality of the food more of a taunt than a benefit in that moment. Ha.

29/10/2025: I ordered a burger and my girlfriend the full Irish. The burger was poor but if it was just that I wouldn't be leaving a review. Every item of her meal was wrong in some way. Even the toast was ruined as it was so hard it hurt her mouth. I thought she might be exaggerating so had some too, and my mouth still hurts an hour later.

23/10/2025: Food was delicious but €17 for a full breakfast and then coffee as extra. It's 2 sausages 2 rashers pudding and an egg. C'mon.

22/10/2025: Lovely little café in bunclody. Beautiful breakfast bap and fresh pot of tea. Staff are lovely. Great to have a choice of newspapers and magazines to read. Fabulous local art for sale on the walls. Lots of treats to buy to take home.

12/10/2025: Can't recommend Sugar & Spice enough for both breakfast and lunch food is absolutely fantastic... I also used it for food for day2 of my wedding great value for money, lovely sandwiches really hit the spot highly recommend if you are passing through bunclody or having an event locally

10/09/2025: I recommend this place for ordering food. Fast and good service. I've been ordering for a long time and they're always on time and have never disappointed with the food. Takgrz accepts pickup orders and always provides delivery and pickup times.

06/07/2025: Best kebab I ever had and I've a had a fair few ,drove 22 mins home with it and food still piping hot ( manager said it would stay hot for 45 mins) and it would have Mixed kebab 9.5/10

25/06/2025: Fletcher’s Bar is one of those places that just gets it right. It’s cosy, friendly, and full of character – a proper traditional pub that doesn’t try too hard, because it doesn’t need to. It’s dog friendly (always a win), and there’s a real laid-back vibe that makes you feel instantly welcome. The kind of spot where you can walk in on your own and end up chatting with someone at the bar like you’ve known them for years. Best of all? They serve Murphy’s – and not many places do these days. It’s poured perfectly and tastes just as it should. Just the place to take the dog after a walk, Fletcher’s ticks all the boxes. Can’t recommend it enough.

24/10/2025: I love love love love this city! Unfortunately we did not get to stay long. However I got a feel for the city and its people as soon as I stepped of the bus. It’s busy and crazy but so friendly and welcoming at the same time! As for the hotel. I was not a fan, it’s old and I love old, love the history and the charm but it seemed more of a places that needed updating. I hated my room but my family loved there’s. To each their own I guess!

29/09/2025: The hotel has a great location and a rustic feel. Unfortunately, it's quite dated and rather noisy. However, the breakfast was delicious.
