26/10/2024: Need to say this restaurant is absolutely fabulous and always has been. The normal choices are always available and to an excellent standard but the specials are often to die for. Excellent soups and chowder. The portions of veg and potatoes are generous and to a high standard as is everything. The only place where Cre na Cille has fallen behind is on price. As others increase the cost of eating out to a ridiculous level they have continued to hold prices reasonable and offer great value for money. You will always note the regulars coming back there again and again which points well to the excellence of the establishment. Well done Anne and Paddy

14/02/2025: I have been drinking here for 20 odd years, it was a great pub and had good family food in the lounge. Now it has changed ownership over the last 18months the premises has gone downhill noticeably in service. The daytime barman is blunt and very pass remarkable. The guy has to know that everyone sitting at the bar can hear what he says to and about other customers. He tore into a waitress about being too busy and get someone else. There was 14 people in the bar, hardly 3 deep around the counter, unprofessional stuff. It’s a pity as the pub is a cracker but that barman is a diva.

15/02/2025: First time in Route 14 this evening and although we had no reservation and it was busy, we were accommodated very quickly. The staff were lovely and friendly, lots of families and couples. The food was superb, I would recommend it and I'm already looking forward to a return visit.
