13/09/2026: Good traditional pub with large venue or back available for private parties

12/09/2026: Horse Show House We had our dinner here. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas, and we chose to sit outside. The staff took our order at the table. The food was tasty, and we enjoyed our dinner.

03/09/2026: Got two of our favourite meal deals...so tasty as always..and great value..well worth a visit...to experience..

16/06/2026: Only heard about this on the "Yay Cork" website. Subsequently found out it was the old Quin Ryan local pub in a previous life. Decent beer garden out back and you can order pizza from a place a few doors up and eat it in the pub.

21/08/2026: I don’t usually leave reviews, but I was so annoyed and disappointed with the service that I felt I had to say something. I was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes, went back after 15 minutes as instructed, and still ended up waiting another 25 minutes. Unfortunately, this isn’t a once-off — the long waiting times seem to be the standard at this stage. What made it even more frustrating was the lack of any apology or acknowledgement of the delay. I was simply told it would be “a few more minutes” after already waiting far longer than I was told. Meanwhile, staff were standing behind the counter chatting away, which didn’t exactly give the impression that customers waiting for their food were much of a priority. The food was good as always, so that’s not the issue at all. It’s the service and the constant waiting that’s becoming really disappointing. I’m a regular customer, but at this stage I genuinely dread going because you never know how long you’ll actually be waiting. I’m leaving this anonymously because I’m a regular customer and I don’t want this to affect how I’m treated on future visits. This is genuine feedback, not a personal attack. Hopefully it’s taken that way, because the food is good and the place could be so much better with more attention to the service.

05/06/2026: Stayed for 3 nights, Sophia on reception was fantastic throughout the stay, service and food in bar was great, potato and leek soup was a highlight, pork belly was delicious, great pint of Guinness, definitely be back when in area

16/08/2026: Not a place to be. Absolutely zero hospitality. Disrespectful attitude towards guests, with not a single response to our greetings. There are so lovely restaurants found around, with better service.

23/06/2026: We got married here a few weeks ago I have to say the staff are absolutely brilliant 👏 they went above and beyond for us what an experience what a venue 👏 id highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking into getting married in cant fault it i wouldn't change a thing about the experience. 10/05/2026: The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the airport. A great pub is a 10-minute walk down the road.
