14/06/2026: Loose Cannon is a cute little wine bar with a great atmosphere and a fantastic spot for people-watching. We grabbed seats in the window, enjoyed a delicious toastie, and had some excellent wine. The food and drinks were exactly what we were hoping for. The only downside was the service. This was quite literally the only place we’ve visited in Dublin where we felt unwelcome. There were no smiles, no warm interactions, and the overall vibe felt surprisingly negative. It was hard to tell whether the staff were having an off day or just weren’t particularly interested in engaging with visitors. That said, it’s still a cool spot with good food, good wine, and a charming setting.

07/11/2025: Great choice of food, great for lunches, plenty of parking outside. Good value lunch options However, they have those self check out booths!! Bring back the staff!!!

13/05/2026: My wife had broken her ankle and we needed ice. Without hesitation, we immediately received a large bag full of ice cubes. Nice people and very helpful. If I ever come near Dingle again, I will definitely look them up. Thanks for your help!

12/06/2026: This hotel is overrated and does not meet the standards I would expect from a 4-star property. It feels much closer to a 3-star hotel. The rooms are dated and in need of renovation, and the lack of complimentary bottled water is a surprising omission for a hotel in this category. The front desk service was underwhelming and could benefit from better training and a stronger focus on customer service. The only standout feature is the location, which is the main reason to consider staying here. Please don’t say rate yourself a 4star hotel as it creates false expectations.

12/06/2026: This place was fantastic! We had a bit of an issue with our airbnb while traveling and this place accommodated us so well! The staff is super nice and always greeted us. The location was perfect if you’re looking to stay in Galway! It’s on the same street as the shops and pubs but the hotel stayed nice and quiet despite being on a busy street. Definitely worth staying there!

Best bar in Limerick The food here is incredible. From chips to cocktail sausages to chicken goujons, this place has so much to offer

07/01/2026: The place is okay. We paid €200 a night for 2 people, which is a lot, but understand, given there was a wedding and Country Arms Birr was fully booked, and it was NYE. Still, it was quite a shocking price—but then again, Ireland. It's expensive for what it is, but that's the nature of supply and demand, as they say. We stayed in the front room, and the traffic noise was really bad. Worse than that, the heating in the room was off, and we couldn’t find anyone to help us, so there was no solution, and it was freezing. We woke up with the heat on in the morning. It also has a breakfast with it, Irish fry up. It's okay.

07/06/2026: In general not a bad place just a few issues for starters no cash accepted at reception so there go legal tendor!!! Food,service & our Waiter Donal was excellent.. sink not working right in bathroom, a few cleaning issues!! Coweb etc..nite stay...kids playing on corridor at 11pm rang reception but nothing achieved as it started again at 11.30pm.. Breakfast ...again food good just cold plates..& waitress keep clearing table while people were still eating not good rule of hotel standards I thought?? 😒

02/06/2026: Beautiful modern hotel just 20 mins from the city centre ,we stayed for 3 nights, the room was large spacious and spotless , The young staff stood out to me as being very well trained and very professional with great service. We really enjoy our stay

23/04/2026: Lovely spot , all very well trained and polite staff ,some MUST have been trained by a highly experienced brilliant bar manager before , it shows , well done team , except for that one lady, but sure look that poor bar manager couldn’t make them all as good as him , he tried I’m sure , but she’s a lovely girl , very friendly reminds me of my daughter 😏

22/04/2026: Food very good, very tasty, Service Super, Atmosphere was grand, street parking only, 1 of our party had Guinness and said it was really good 👍 I would recommend for a nice meal 😋 2

06/04/2026: The best restaurant I've tried in the area. There were four of us, and every dish was delicious. I ordered the sirloin steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The coastal views were spectacular, and the service was top-notch.Best place ever .
