20/09/2025: So good! Food was amazing, everything fresh, delicious, I ordered chicken wing, Mac-cheese croquette and spice bag, it was delicious! Photo taken before everything was over! Incredible and surprising! Staff friendly, nice music 👌

18/08/2025: We ate here before the Oasis gig on Sunday. Not too busy so we were seated immediately. Great decor in the place. Burgers were awesome and served on strange looking black buns. Service was excellent and fast. We stayed on for a few beers afterwards.

05/11/2025: On a rainy Tuesday in Oranmore, this was a lovely place to go for breakfast or a scone and coffee. Very clean and great service. Good food too of course!

27/10/2025: The food was really good but weird experience, I got made to feel bad when I said I have an intolerance to eggs and asked to have avocado with my salmon instead. I get that it messed with the usual price but most places are understandable when it comes to intolerances.

10/03/2026: We visited the newpark hotel for our fourth visit. It was for our minimoon. We ordered dinner in the restaurant the first night. It was nice, we ordered wine also with the meal which came when we were almost finished eating. (Restaurant was not busy) We stayed in a hot tub room, which is much more expensive than the standard but we felt up to now, worth it. The hot tub smelled like a fish tank though we were assured it was cleaned. It was also quite low on water compared to usual and the lights in it were not working at all . For the whole second day, carpenters were in the balcony beside us, hammering, sawing, using loud gas nail guns and installing new decking where they could see us in our "private balcony". It made it quite difficult to enjoy our stay. I did politely complain to front desk and asked for the general manager. Instead, front desk manager came out and agreed that this was not acceptable and offered complimentary lunch the following day which we politely declined. We were informed we could be moved to another room though it was 4 o clock at this stage and all the hot tub rooms were still in close proximity to the ongoing works which I'm sure were finished for the day at this stage. We were assured that works would have been stopped if we complained earlier but this is beside the point, it shouldn't have been going on while the rooms were in use. I did let management know that this review would be posted and we have recorded the works going on right alongside us as it was unbelievable frankly. The TV in the room also is something from maybe 10 years ago. No Netflix, it has screencast which cuts in and out and TV is important in Ireland specially if weather is poor. While the outdoor park and animal farm for kids looks like it is great for families, it looks like this hotel has gone downhill and is badly in need of investment and refurbishing. Would not recommend and certainly won't be back. We stayed in the Brehon hotel Killarney for our wedding the days beforehand and I must say the quality and standard was certainly on another level entirely considering both are 4 star hotels and the Brehon was better value too.

09/07/2025: Vegan and vegetarian options only, it's ok but I have had better elsewhere. ***Update as requested by the owner- reviewing experience from three months ago. Had "the garden gate" and a matcha latte.

22/05/2025: Super surprise in finding this place for vegetarian and vegan food. We had three full plates normally costing € 10.50 were priced down to €5.50 as it was after 1 pm. Food was very tasty and I am not easily impressed.

16/12/2025: Great views and interesting structures the atmosphere is especially good at dusk or dawn but it's often to windy or cold to enjoy

07/11/2025: Sunday trad sessions not to be missed. Great pint and friendly staff. Pool table and dart board at the back also. Great spot all round

05/01/2026: Delivery. Two bad experiences in a row unfortunately for them. The duck for the pancakes this time was into pieces . Some too cooked (burnt even), others cold and almost raw. Very bad experiences.

04/01/2026: Great ambiance, delicious food, and excellent customer service. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is always fresh and full of flavor, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. A really enjoyable place to dine in Skerries. Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: Waited an extra 20 minutes after my order was supposed to be ready then got home which is 35 minutes away and they didnt give me the naan bread after crossing it off the recite!
