05/10/2024: Going to the snack shack for years and love it in there. The staff are brilliant always greeting you with a smile and a chat. It's worth stopping in and the sandwich box's you can get are just perfect and tasty. Highly recommended

22/10/2024: No idea why this place has 4.5 on Google maps. The desserts are crap. They taste like they came straight from a factory. Grand for a quick snack if you're hungry, but don't waste your time if you want something tasty.

02/03/2025: Called here after lovely visit to Donegal Castle I ordered prawn sandwich came on the cheapest white bread ever which was soggy from the prawns unable to eat bread ordered coffee that didn't arrive until late into meal should have told them to keep it charged 8 euro for a very small cup service was terrible and staff very unfriendly you git the impression they had fallen out with each other such was the vibe ding dong bell going off all the time which was right beside the clattering of dishes that were being stacked rather loudly was annoying My young Daughters meal she told us later was not very nice she said it was very oily kids meal burger found this place to be expensive another review said Americans not welcome looks like Irish not welcome either

16/02/2025: After a long day in the car, we needed good food, quick! Stopped in on a sunday night. Wife had seafood pie that she loved-basically mashed potatoes with fish! I went Traditional-fish and chips but was not disappointed. Had a Guiness and a Kinnegar to mix it up. Perfect for us. Very nice crew!

11/02/2025: The rooms were excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful both inside and outside. Beautiful building. Pool was great and the health club which guests have access. The restaurant also has some really lovely food. Would go back.

05/02/2025: Lovely venue, staff were fine, not helpful, no facilitation of an early check in, as we had to get ready for a christening. Had to wait until 16:00. Also check out at 11:00, with no late check out given.

07/03/2025: Stopped in for breakfast and it was simply top notch. I ordered the all day breakfast which arrived very promptly, was yummy and very fresh. Another in my party ordered the pancakes with streaky bacon and maple syrup, the pancakes were soft, delicious and tasted homemade. I will absolutely be eating here again in future.

27/02/2025: Ordered 2 coffees this morning for takeaway, one girl took my order another was doing the coffee. First, she just makes the one coffee and proceeds to stand around moving some cutlery and I'm standing waiting for the other coffee until the other girl asked her if she made my second order. She says no and makes me the other coffee which was meant to be a mocha with hazelnut syrup but instead I got handed a hot chocolate that tasted like very mild chocolate milk. Unfortunately, I only realised it when I already left the cafe. Won't be coming back as the service was very disappointing.

02/02/2025: Not a great experience! The staff was trying to avoid customers. Saw 3 people going back from not ordering just during the 20min of my dining. Food was good though.

20/01/2025: Pedí curry Rendang. Recibió una porción generosa , tubería caliente de líquidos salsa de curry, desprovista de "patatas bebé" u otros ingredientes. La parte más cara del pedido fue el cartón en el que se presentó... con arroz suficiente para limpiar la salsa de curry.

15/02/2025: I placed my order at 11:30 AM for pickup at 8:30 PM, expecting it to be ready on time. However, when I arrived, the place was in complete chaos—everyone was complaining about delayed orders, and only two employees were struggling to handle everything. I am extremely frustrated. How is it possible that, despite placing my order so early, the restaurant was still unprepared? This level of mismanagement is unacceptable. I expect an explanation and a resolution for this poor service.

14/02/2025: I placed an order today to celebrate Valentine's Day with my wife before 7 pm, it's 9:45 pm and we still haven't received anything, when we called 40 minutes ago we were told that the order was already going out and that was still 15 minutes late from the expected delivery time, that sums around 3 hs of waiting for the delivery. We tried to call back several times and they just disconnected the phone. It is a tremendous lack of professionalism and we expected more from a restaurant that we went to eat repeatedly, a total disappointment of service.

18/02/2025: Decided to go for dinner in a local spot after having a lovely day elsewhere, just to bring some business back home but will NEVER go back! My partner, toddler and I were never left feeling so unwelcome, we had to ask for menus after being seated, then ordered a red wine, which should be served tepid and was freezing which is a minor thing, the staff were so unkowledgeable, rude and gave the vibe they would be rather be anywhere else with no willingness to work. I will say the starters were fantastic and that is purely the reason for a 1 star, I had lasagna as a main and it would have been great if u were a vegetarian due to the lack of meat, no desert menu was offered and no staff came to see how our meal was nor if we needed/wanted anything else. When I was paying I was asked how everything was and I told the waitress that the wine was cold, disappointed in lack of service and meat, she told me this was the first complaint they had ever received and was quite arrgumetive, rather than willing to listen to some constructive criticism when the question was asked. While I was speaking to this waitress another lady I think to be the manager (but when asked for there was no manager there) butted in when bypassing the conversation. It felt like I was trying to being bullied out of giving an honest answer. Never again, needs a rapid staff review.

29/12/2024: We went to this restaurant on a busy Saturday - a party of 21 with no reservation. The staff quickly sorted us with tables and we enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks. Very friendly and attentive servers - thank you!
