The best restaurants

04/06/2026: We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and tried the restaurant the first night and decided to eat there every night thereafter. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The desserts were exceptional! The staff was very busy and one night they seemed short-handed but were always pleasant.

02/06/2026: Great meal in a wonderful location, overlooking the lake and mountains. Staff were extremely attentive, the food was lovely and very good value for money. Recommended.

29/03/2026: 4 of us had dinner in the Pier last night, for my sisters birthday . The food, the wine, the service was absolutely top notch, fab atmosphere and ambience. Thanks a million. We will be back .

01/09/2025: Our first stop after landing in West Ireland and it was fantastic, amazing food and a lovely atmosphere with all the local chatting acorss the entire room.

21/10/2025: Food was great, except for the soft bacon. Eggs were delicious, especially the veggie eggs. Coffee was very good. Service was quick.

17/10/2025: Great quality service and food is delectable and fresh, but way overpriced which is disappointing. I ordered the pancakes (which are a small stack) with Nutella and strawberries as well as a cappuccino coffee, altogether it came to €16.90…Rediculous rip off !

03/05/2026: Staff were incredibly intensive and fun. We ordered a fair bit between three people, and everything came out in well paired groups. Nothing felt rushed out and everything tasted fresh. Some of the best Tapas i've had in dublin

19/02/2026: Had a delightful breakfast here with a pint of coors, slugged it back quick and my server Niamh was most complimentary! 😮‍💨😮‍💨 The breakfast was delicious hit that spot I was looking for a felt like a fat pig rolling out of the gaff!! The Service was top class not too long but also not too quick so I knew it was fresh 🌶️. Don’t even get me started on them beans 🫘 All the best a very happy customer 😜😜

04/06/2026: We stayed in the cottages. They are spacious and have great views, but they are dated and a bit worn out. Lots of stuff didn't work properly (shower, dishwasher, smart tv). It is very basic accommodation in the cottages, but if you accept and expect this, there is plenty to enjoy here. Staff at the bar and restaurant were great. We also loved the location. Very peaceful and scenic.

23/01/2026: I love coming here every time I visit Fermoy. My favourites would be the sweet and sour chicken. You cannot go wrong, everything is yummy.

31/12/2025: Latest Edit: Gave it another go just now, the sweet and sour chicken was so watered down! The 'sauce' was so watery! The chicken pieces were soggy since they could just absorb so much from the 'sauce' .. it seriously tasted like dishwater and the soggy chicken was stringy :/ talk about a nose dive in quality Edit: Over the last year or so, the dishes seem to be a bit watered down. My most recent order involved getting a call from their delivery driver telling me the €5 delivery charge should be €7.50 because I was living 200meters past his personal cutoff point for €5. For a €75 order, it's a bit nit picking and bad form. They should contact their online ordering site on this if it's that much of an issue for them and their driver. Cancelled my order and will go elsewhere from now on.

12/06/2025: Nice atmosphere and a small selection of house beers. Unfortunately, not all of them were tasty, as we're used to better ones in Germany. Still, it's worth a visit and trying a few. It's best to order 3 or 6 flights to try the different beers. You'll then receive 3 or 6 1/3 pints of your choice, respectively, for either €8 or €16.

15/06/2026: We were Guests invited here, sadly we were not impressed. The beef was Grisly and tough. I believe there are most probably better Restaurants in the area.

14/06/2026: Really beautiful food, all with a slightly different presentation and accompaniments. Very good staff and strong wine list. Well worth a visit.
