The best restaurants

22/02/2025: Ambience and staff excellent - food not so much - croquettes were small soggy and tasteless. The tiramisu was a dry concoction of sponge fingers and a topping of cream. Seats also too close together no privacy. We want to chat and try enjoy our night without hearing others try parade posh! We won’t be back.

18/02/2025: Tasty takeaway with friendly, professional service. Good value for money and just a short walk from where I was staying (Absolute Hotel). The spice box was huge and the curry sauce was yummy. Enjoyed the Singapore rice noodles and the General chicken too.

06/12/2024: Best Traditional Fish and Chips! Sharky's is a gem! The staff are incredibly lovely, and the service is top-notch. The food is always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality fish and chips. 💯👌🍔🐟&🍟🤤

22/11/2024: Quality going downhill.. Cheese burger delivered with no cheese, fish literally dripping with grease and the food was cold. Shame, this used to be so good.

18/01/2025: As I walked, I met a lovely lady behind the till who was incredibly nice and professional. I ordered a Chicken & Doner kebab and I must say, I was blown away by the quality and taste. It was definitely a 10/10 and I have found my new go-to spot for kebabs. The portion size was impressive at 860 grams and it tasted amazing. I highly recommend Instabul Bites to all my friends and family. Credit goes to the entire team at Instabul Bites for their outstanding food and service.

23/11/2024: I did the one day barista essentials course with Tomasz and absolutely loved it 😊 it’s a perfect mix of in depth theory and practical experience on the espresso machines I loved it and would 100% reccomended! Tomasz is a great teacher!

22/11/2024: My school had provided us a one barista course 2 years ago. I completed the course and the online coursework and there is STILL NO CERTIFICATE. I have talked to the teacher that organized this event COUNTLESS times for the past 2 years and she said numerous times that the barista school isn't replying back. I decided to take matters into my own hands and emailed the company itself nearly a week ago but still no reply. Do not waste your money on this course it will do nothing except gray your hair, waste your time and cause a dent in your wallet.

03/03/2025: We thought we'd try something new and book the clay making class via the website. We booked as a couple which cost around €26 each. When we arrived at the building it wasn't clear where it actually was, we finally found a sign saying 'This must be the place' on one of the windows of the second level of the buildings. Once inside we were greeted by Roberta who was very warm and welcoming. We sat down in a group of 8 on two tables, Roberta then introduced the company and herself. We then began moulding clay and it was really fun! Roberta made sure we had enough biscuits, coffee and tea. I would recommend this experience to other people as I think it's a nice creative space to do something different.

10/02/2025: The pub was overall okay. There was a Jazz Band playing (Sunday evening) and they were good. If you're there for food and to have a conversation, you might, like me, tend to go to the back area of the pub, which is more quiet, but not as nice as the front. The food was good. Vegetarian options are available, mainly Asian Dishes like Curry or Stir Fry. My only real issue was the service. The staff was overall nice, but after getting our drinks and food, no one looked after us for the rest of the evening. No asking if everything was okay, if we wanted more drinks, if we would like to see the dessert menu. That is normally something you would do, instead of silently rushing in and taking our empty plates. I'd understand if it was very busy, but it really wasn't. Staff was standing like 5 Meters from our table and blankly looking through me, trying to signal that I wanted to pay. This evening could have gone from okay to great if only the staff was a little more attentive.

10/02/2025: Very nice atmosphere, good music. I recommend going there with friends and enjoying the music and a beer.
