22/02/2025: Went here with the wife for breakfast last week. Food arrived quickly, and hot. Couldn’t fault the food. The only thing was the plate they serve the full Irish on now is too small. You can’t enjoy your food as you have to be carful you don’t knock your food off onto the table. And the portion of beans you get with it is now is also very small, an egg cup full, probably just as well you’d no room on your plate for it. Shame!

12/02/2025: Ordered a char grilled chicken dish with prawns, which I assumed would be a chicken breast on a plate of pasta with some prawns thrown in, I had to search through the dish to find about 5 to 10 very small cube pieces of chichen that were so small I had no idea they were chared at all. Total size of chicken in my dish was about 1 inch by 1 inch, a disgrace, won't be back. Disappointed for the price I payed for it, avoid, better dish in Lidl for a fraction of the price.not even a thank you after paying my bill, total disgrace.

15/02/2025: Was there with my kids waiting to give are ordered for 15 to 20 mins people came in after us got the food and all had enough at that stage got up and walked out the man didn't even appear to give a shit about it very rude that work there not going back 😑

17/02/2025: Oh my God! On a cold winters Monday, with the roadside strewn with monkeys carrying brass welders, we stopped in looking for a little warmth in the Bay Cafe in Dunmore east. We both had the Tomato and basil soup and a chicken toasted special along with a latte to wash it down. The soup was the perfect winters cocktail while the sambo was the ideal comfort food to beat away the Monday winters blues. The coffee was to the same exceptional standard and the staff and atmosphere were exactly as you would hope for. All'n'all the best spontaneous stop of our few days away. Dunmore east is beautiful and the scenery majestic, but the Bay Cafe makes it worth coming back.

20/01/2025: just about edible food, tiramisu was actually a joke. “homemade” does not mean good. ingredients are cheap and of terrible quality. service was nonexistent, had to call her over every single time as she was too busy on her phone all day. very uninterested in their clients. restaurant was empty for a good reason.

26/10/2024: I visited Kilrush today and looked up places to eat that has gluten free options. The Potter's Hand is a beautiful and quirky warm place. I had a delicious bowl of mushroom soup g.free and a g.free toasted sandwich. They had g.free treats too a cheesecake and other treats as well. I would definitely recommend a call into this place. The ladies working there were so friendly and helpful and a lovely atmosphere

13/02/2025: I pass this place practically every day and decided to go in today. I ordered a Latte and a Chocolate Muffin. Both were delicious! The owner was so friendly and easygoing. Ok, the place looks a bit tired but don't let that deter you from visiting.Its very clean and It's a great local cafe that deserves customers to enjoy it. They also do breakfast and sandwiches on some hot dishes. The prices are excellent!! Way cheaper than other local cafes. I will definitely be back!
