18/08/2025: We recently celebrated my twin daughters’ 18th at The Barracks, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible effort of Joanne Aaron and their team. As I wasn’t able to be there, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, to arranging balloons, bringing out the cake and candles, and making the girls feel so special and welcomed. A big thank you also to the DJ for the birthday announcements through out the night which added such a lovely touch to the night. Joanne and her team truly went the extra mile, and thanks to them, my daughters had an unforgettable celebration. Thank you so much to everyone at The Barracks, you made it a truly special night that we’ll always remember!

25/11/2025: Amazing Pizza & Even Better People! Ihad an outstanding experience at this pizza place! The moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were incredibly attentive, helpful with recommendations, and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. The pizza itself was phenomenal—fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and flavors that prove they truly care about what they serve. You can tell the team takes pride in their work, from the kitchen to the front counter. It’s rare to find a spot where great food and great service come together so perfectly. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🍕✨

11/03/2026: House Limerick is an excellent place for either lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to spend time with friends or family. The beer selection is very good, the wines are excellent, and the food is always full of flavour and great quality. One of the best parts is sitting in their garden area overlooking the river — it’s a beautiful and laid-back setting that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, a fantastic place to dine or simply enjoy a drink in a lovely setting. Definitely one of the nicest spots in Limerick to relax and unwind.

08/03/2026: We had a booking for a group of 5 girls for women’s day had the best service and Nicole who looked after us was fabulous thanks so much will be back would be better if we had abit more music in the back round but all and all good 👍

30/12/2025: Visited Indian tiffin seeing the reviews... Expectations not met. Found the food average compared to the high prices. Idli set was worth the price. Didn't feel the authentic texture and fluffiness of bature, probably the wrong dough was used for the bature. The veg thali was average.

01/11/2025: Very nice cafe, but crazy expensive for what I got. €4.50 for sausage roll with some crinkle cut crisps. At best very ordinary. Pot of tea was good. Has me questioning if I am back in the boom times. Money for nothing and your crisps for free!!

03/10/2025: Today I went to Velo Café, totally exhausted and struggling with the weather. I had a big buggy and wanted to sit outside. But the lovely lady invited me to take a seat. I just got green tea, nothing else, but the treated us like a VIP client. I was able to feed the toddler and just got a break from my day. I'll be coming back here because the staff is absolutely lovely. Reny&Jude

15/12/2025: Probably my favourite restaurant in Ennis. I had the garlic naan and lucknawi gosht and we shared wine. All were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. Really nice lighting in the restaurant and the service was great without being overbearing.

10/08/2025: Visited Route Fourteen with my family for lunch. The food was great, the dining area was spacious, but I have a few points I hope can be considered to improve the service. There were two lunch menus on our visit: one standard lunch menu (same as website) and one specific for the day or week. We ordered from the second menu since they seemed seasonal and more fresh than the regular menu. The prices were similar to other gastropubs around Cork City. I ordered pork belly with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The pork was stuffed with walnuts and dates, a stuffing I would have never thought would taste so nice with pork. Other dishes we had were the "Smash Burger" and Reuben sandwich. We ordered chicken wings with buffalo sauce for starters. Everybody enjoyed their orders but the beef in the Reuben would be better if it was not heated much. For dessert we had a mango and raspberry cheesecake and lemon meringue. Both were presented nicely and tasted amazing. They are best eaten between two people as they are large desserts. We were seated at a bright high table by the window, however we were near a large private booking and I felt a bit under pressure as the staff were setting the tables around us for the arriving diners. Given that the venue was not busy when we arrived, I would have preferred sitting further away from the large group booking. I would highly recommend visiting Route Fourteen on your next day out for lunch or dinner at a gastropub.
