The best restaurants

30/08/2026: We went upstairs to eat our food, as there was nothing to indicate that the area was staff-only. There were also plenty of drinks left on tables from other customers, so we assumed it was open seating. We passed two members of staff on the way up and neither of them mentioned that the upstairs area was for staff only. We just found it a bit strange that there was no sign or indication to say that customers couldn’t sit there. A simple sign would have avoided the confusion.

27/08/2026: We’ve visited this Supermac’s a couple of times and the food has always been good — your typical reliable Supermac’s, with nothing really to complain about. The food tends to be fresh, service is fast, and we’ve never had to wait too long. The Moozies are definitely a highlight! I recently tried the Dubai Chocolate Moozie and it was brilliant. The Ferrero Rocher Moozie is also very good and well worth trying. There’s a drive-thru as well as plenty of seating inside. Papa John’s is also available here, with the pizzas made fresh, and they have the Supermac’s subs as well, which we’ve tried and really enjoyed. Parking is generally very easy, with a spacious car park and additional parking around the petrol station. Just be careful which spaces you use around Circle K, as some spaces have clamping restrictions. Overall, a solid Supermac’s with quick service, fresh food and an especially good Moozie selection. Definitely one of the better options when you want something quick and reliable.

23/08/2026: Cozy little establishment where you might find surprising things for a snack. The Irish cream cheesecake was very tasty.

09/09/2026: The toilet was disgusting!!! There wasn't even any soap.

06/09/2026: The girl with glasses at the checkout doesn't want to work at all; whenever I ask her something, she has a long face and doesn't want to reply—I don't even say "what would you like?", she is a total disappointment.

09/09/2026: The experience was really amazing. The staff is very friendly and the service is really rapid. The food tastes better than the other KFCs I’ve been to.

06/06/2026: Nice one night stay , comfortable bed and clean bathroom , great location in town center , easy street park nearby. Nice busy bar & outside.

07/05/2026: Pretty hotel in the heart of Dingle. Unfortunately, there is no elevator, but the desk clerk said she’d have someone bring our bags up. When she couldn’t find someone promptly, she carried them up herself. Great service! Our room had a beautiful 4 poster bed and fireplace. We ate in their award winning dining room and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and engaging. My husband had the best lamb he’s ever eaten, and my fish and chips was the best of the trip. Wonderful stay.

18/08/2026: Updating my review. It is now August 2026. I order pizza here I collect. Love this pizza place as I get good pizza for my dietary issues. I am gluten intolerant, allergic to dairy and soya protein. I love their gf bases. I went somewhere else and they use bought in frozen gf bases yuck (sona in cork). Their pizza does me for two dinners. The gluten free base does not have a base with thick crust at the edges like the non gluten free bases but it is delicious I love the bases are thin, crispy. The toppings, you get a generous amount. I do miss the pulled ham that has not been on the menu for a while. The non dairy non soya cheese is nice. I like if I make 10 orders I get a free pizza when I order using their app available on Google Play store. If you are celiac they advice you not to eat the gf pizzas just encase you get any bit of gluten as the kitchen makes food with gluten too. I am gluten intolerant and never had a reaction to their gf pizza base. I usually also order their Belguim cookies, one each for my parents. They come one in a small plastic bag. They are hot, easy to break when I get them so when I get home I put them in the freezer a few minutes, them fridge before my parents eat them.

04/08/2026: Real wood fired pizza just like in italy (im italian) wonderful pizza every ingredient was fresh and really tasty especially the basil wow !!! And a really friendly service !!!

01/05/2026: Delicious fresh food, nice choice for lunch. I’m usually in a hurry so it’s a place I can get served quickly. They have a good choice of light food which is great if you’ve to go back to work after as I do! Love the antique furniture and atmosphere.

23/08/2026: A nice, spacious bar with billiards and some cuisine. (Most Irish pubs don't have anything other than nuts and chips or Frenchfries.)

17/08/2026: A Sunday evening outing during a summer holiday home to Monaghan. Quiet like many pubs nowadays but ticking over. Nice staff and expect it does well on busier trading days/nights.

08/03/2026: I wish I could give more than 5 stars because our experience at Earth&Vine was exceptional. Firstly, I was too late to reserve a table for my birthday and no tables were left however through email, Violeta was a star and sorted us out. A massive thank you to Rita who made sure we were looked after throughout our dinner and finally Alan, who was an incredible waiter, very attentive, genuine and funny and made our experience top notch. The food was absolutely divine and it was a lovely touch to have smaller plates throughout the meal as we were waiting for the next course. Genuinely one of the best experiences we've ever had at a restaurant, no doubt we'll be back. Thank you again Violeta, Rita and Alan for your wonderful service.

14/08/2026: I had a sole and some very fresh shrimp seasoned with oil, lemon, and chili pepper. Highly recommended.

07/08/2026: Had lunch here last week with a friend. I had the special, prawns and hake and my friend had fish and chips!! Magic food, fresh from the sea and well presented. Served by the charming Caroline, our compliments to the excellent chef and his team!! We'll be back, and back......!! 👍☘️

20/05/2026: Gem 💎. We discovered this place as we're looking to park the car for going on holidays. Dropped of car and got courtesy bus to airport. Easy access to departures and on return super easy collection at park 16 for coaches . The hotel itself is very comfortable, has everything you'd need.we stayed here after getting off late flight . We actually got bumped up to an apartment so had choice of bedrooms and kitchen plus 2bathrooms. Huge space with super views over airport.We stayed for lunch next day in the comfortable bar/lounge/ restaurant. Food was really nice great selection. Overall the most memorable part of our time using their facilities is the staff and absolute care and generous care they gave us when we rang back from holidays and needed our car checked. They went out of their way to contact us and complete our need. The car was parked underground for €12 a day, courtesy coach to and from the airport and then to stay over night was €241 in total. Great way to finish a lovely relaxing holiday. Totally recommend using the facilities and staying at The Metro & Apartments.

19/05/2026: Wonderful staff! Clean rooms. Closes to the bus to get to City Centre. Airport shuttle made getting out of the airport very easy! Great place to stay!

06/08/2026: Random night out the day music was fab the guys serving down stairs were awful moody and said they were tired and had long day, when I asked them.to.surprise me with a cocktail or their choice they said no too tied here is the menu, went upstairs the ladies were much better and customer focused

22/06/2026: Popped in with the family for food, after a recommendation from friends, we have fussy eaters, and my god it did not disappoint. The service was top notch, really friendly staff, and quick service. The food was gorgeous 🥰 really generous portions for both adults and kids., and so reasonable! Highly recommend the Athlone to the bone wings delicious! Cocktail menu is a bonus! Definitely will be back.
