The best restaurants

07/12/2025: Worst food ive had in Dublin and im a Dub. The steak in the beef and Guinness stew was totally inedible lumps of rubber and this cost €20, thats unacceptable really. The gujons consisted of 4 pieces of hard chicken and few dry chips. It was very disappointing because we were enjoying the pub until then. I told the server and he just said "sorry about that." We left hungry broke and rather angry

06/08/2025: Always incredible pizza and service. Lovely staff and cosy atmosphere. The vegan cheese is delicious too! Potatoes are ok but I’d love if they added chips to the menu. The pizza is so delicious we don’t mind though .

04/02/2026: Friendly staff member on the phone, Delivery arrived within 25 minutes. Food was hot and delicious.

26/01/2026: I did visit this supermacs at the weekend I received Great customer service, I got my food in efficient timing, will definitely be returning

09/03/2026: Best restaurant in Galway, in fact best restaurant in Ireland hands down. Has been consistently brilliant since it opened thanks to Conor the owner. Atmosphere is buzzy and great people watching. I would highly recommend.

03/03/2026: Disgusted. Was hoping for dessert and wine at 10pm to finish the evening. Were rudely seated and then completely ignored for a good while despite trying to catch the waitrons attention. The restaurant was empty and 3 waitrons just chatting Really unacctable given the amazing options around the corner. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we stumbled accross Augustin next door. Amazing!!

27/12/2025: Such great food at affordable prices prepared and served by very professional efficient staff , they have a very comprehensive menu , fish , chips , kebab , pizza and much more , take away or sit in , the sit in is spacious and very clean , the toilets are clean and well stocked . This is a lovely place to dine and I thoroughly recommend you go .

15/07/2025: While I enjoyed the evening spent here, I’d put a lot of that on the member of staff that looked after us. The food was good and the service was friendly throughout. Given our party size we ended up being seated outside and the weather made this quite pleasant , however as the sun started to set it was obvious that given Dublins normal weather schedule of rain, the focus hadn’t been on making the outside area as special as the inside. The setting is lovely with large trees and garden to look over but there was no fairy lights in the parasol, very little lighting at all in fact. No outdoor gas fires (unless the large black ash tray is normally a fire), no attention to detail that you’d expect from a fairmont (see fairmont whistler for the perfect example of an outdoor space done right). Tables weren’t prioritised over the inside so dirty glassware were left way longer than should have been. Out of the extensive wine list only 2 and eventually zero wines were left despite the women’s open being over a week ago so a restock should have been done. There was also a hair in one of my parties dish that was just brushed off and one of our drinks came with crud on the glass so somethings slipping abit somewhere. Nevertheless, enjoyed my evening here but expected more from a fairmont restaurant.

16/02/2026: Quarter pounder, excellent chips, and onion rings. All cooked fresh and delivered hot. Exactly what you want from your local chipper. Haven't tried the pizzas so can't comment on those.

06/01/2026: Went for a work night out at Christmas. We go every year as the food has always been good. 4 of our party ordered steak. 3 medium. Steaks were tiny and all were well done and quite tough. In fairness it would be hard to do them any other way they were so thin. Other than that there no complaints.

02/01/2026: Popped in here for a quick drink on New Year's day. Lovely pint. Barman was very friendly

28/11/2025: Had the best time. Shoutout to Mia and her father. The Otter Bar was a highlight of my trip while traveling Ireland. We originally stopped in for a bite to eat but ended up getting take out delivered to the bar from another village. “The people of Inistioge are hungry!” I’ll cherish the memories. Spice bags and Sláinte!

18/10/2025: The best coffee I had in Ireland so far, opens early that was perfect since I was attending a conference and the staff were so polite

18/06/2025: I was genuinely shocked by what I witnessed at Gym Plus Cork in Mahon Point during my recent visit. A female member was working out in what was essentially a bikini bra and shorts so short and see-through that her private areas were clearly visible as she walked around and during squats. This level of exposure is completely inappropriate for any public gym, and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere for others, myself included. Even more disturbing was the fact that there were adolescents present at the time. In my view, this goes beyond poor judgement — it amounts to public indecency, and I believe the Gardaí should be made aware. Gym Plus urgently needs to enforce a clear and reasonable dress code to ensure a respectful, safe, and professional environment for all members, including families and young people. This kind of negligence is unacceptable.
