14/02/2025: My favourite restaurant in Cork. Never lets me down. The food is amazing and good portions and great for the price, the atmosphere is really good, it’s always clean and the service is always attentive to your needs. Superb 💕

09/02/2025: the service is nice. The rolls are fresh and big, so they didn't fit in my mouth completely 😃 The drinks are cool and served with ice - that's very good. I recommend it

30/06/2024: The place is quite good, the pizzas are a little expensive for the size, but they taste good. They attended to us in Spanish despite being in Ireland, the service was very good. The atmosphere is the best of all, to be with friends it is phenomenal; They have ludo and two XXL sized jengas, very fun.

13/09/2024: I have been a customer of rouses many times over the years but I had really bad experience here tonight. I arrived here alone and was waiting for friends to arrive out in the back area when the bar lady came out and asked me “if I was ok” to which I replied I was and that I was waiting for friends to arrive to meet me. I probably had been here about 5 minutes at this point. I asked her if there was a problem and she basically said I cant just stay here like this (I am assuming without a drink?). I felt very unwelcome and promptly left. Look Im a 31 year old woman and this is not how I expect to be treated in a pub within 5 minutes of arriving just because I am alone. I have no idea what she thought I was doing but as soon as I walked outside I saw my friends had arrived and we walked down to the auld sibin (close to the bridge) instead and had a good evening. Would be really hesitant to recommend for anyone coming in alone in a similar circumstance.

24/02/2025: Had a birthday party there and the service was friendly, but unbelievably slow. No water for the tables until asking twice and it took over half an hour to serve. We were informed what wasn't available long after ordering. Very badly managed. Food was delicious though.

19/02/2025: Nice food but website prices are totally different to the menu when u get in. Menu prices on website for calamari is €10.95 but €16 when u get there. Everything is at least 30 to 50% more. Crazy

15/02/2025: Real gem. Jason from Alloy Wheels Ireland recommended the spot to us for breakfast. Delicious breakfast. We got the small Irish which was ideal. I got a poached egg and my wife got scrambled (even though there were two or three eggs used in the scrambled egg they didn’t charge more which I appreciate). Also delighted that the brown sauce was Chef 👌
