The best restaurants

01/09/2026: Have used taste of spice many many times and each time the food has been very fresh, hot and tasty. The curries are so lovely and each time all the staff have a wonderful welcome for you. Have recommended to many friends who are just as pleased with it.

24/08/2026: Absolute worst pizza in Ireland. If you're in swinford do apache or Eskimo. Anything but taste of spice pizza.

04/08/2026: It's not a large space & I don't believe it merited the amplification used for the music Monday nights. It's too loud to sit anywhere near the performer & too small to find a seat away from it. Not a pub for really having a chat. My friend said the Guinness was good.

23/06/2026: Unless you are in the area I would give this a miss. Bar staff are inexperienced. Queeva is the only one that knows what she is doing. This pub was at one time a great pub.

26/08/2026: The staff were friendly, but the facilities needed thorough cleaning. The premises were also somewhat run-down (especially the tables and chairs where you eat). The food was very average.

24/08/2026: The food here was really delicious but the only downsides to this place not getting full stars from me are the pepper sauce was very watery and not very peppery and a jug of blackcurrant is €4 and there was a 10% automatically added on service charge

13/07/2026: Absolutely shocking!! Food went to very bad very fast. Eating from here for a year now and one thing about this place - it is inconsistent! Anything from chips to burgers and kebabs or the pizzas you can be lucky or get most disappointing meal ever. My last order was quarter pouder with extra salads, cheese and bacon, extra sauce and this is what i got in a hard dry out bun...and when I complained the cook said "i gave salad" (7 pieces of onion) no sauces just some mayo... this burger was disgusting and manner on the cook was just as bad. Extra english lessons required for this bloke to simply understand what people asked for. Chips were disappointment too , very small portion and soft and soggy. The kebab last week had two strains of red cabbage as a salad...again it was dry and pack with just meat -disappointing.

25/09/2026: Great food, but very poor customer service. The staff completely skipped basic hospitality—no hello, no greeting, and they didn’t even tell me my total before I paid. Having worked in food service for a couple of years, I know how important basic training is. The food is worth coming back for, but the service definitely needs to be addressed.

12/09/2026: My local station, I try to always buy my fuel here , staff are pure professionals, very helpful, help is always on hand, can't fault this business, rather spend my money here

09/09/2026: Been going here for years and years. Fully attended. Friendly staff. Always the lowest price for fuel in the area. Very quick, in and out.
