09/07/2024: Simple and good. Very friendly staff! Watched football on TV with great sound. We had two meals, the burger which was great and the steak sandwich which unfortunately was disappointing to me as the steak was not so good... as it is listed as one of the specialtys of the house that should've done better! But had an overall great evening.

17/12/2024: Found Earls by accident. I just happened to pay by. I had the breakfast, which was exceptional and great value. The brown bread was very very tasty. The staff were so friendly. There were all sorts of pastries and breads. I didn't indulge which gives me an excuse to call again. Highly recommended

15/10/2024: Great find! Lovely food, great service and a nice little vibe. It’s not a big place so space is tight, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Food was made fresh, and good humour from the staff. Best pastrami sandwich I’ve had in Ireland!

05/10/2024: this goes to show how personal taste is, I saw one of the few bad reviews complaining that the polled pork wrap was tasteless, when I absolutely loved the flav or explosion it provided imho. it wasn't too salty, but instead had a lof of juicier flavor component blended together so well, that I struggle to name them. it was also a very good sized dish and came with 3 salads all of which were good, and I wish I could ask for the kale quinoa salad recipe (I am usually not a fan of Q or uncooked K but OMG soo good and light). yes I understand that it is a to go place and thus the cutlery is wooden, I honestly wish it would have been wooden chopsticks which would have made eating easier. I LOVED it . If I lived in the athlone region we would be regulars.

04/10/2024: If you traverse the country and need a food break, or just are lucky enough to live in the area, this place is AMAZING. yes it is nestled into a very utilitarian space but it has roofed outdoor possibilities in addition to the few cozy seats and a good restroom. But the FOOD..the food is just amazing. I had a wrap with 3 salads. And in addition to them being sooo good (but yes quite spicy) I can tell they are designed to hold up the "leftover" time periods of take out, which is rare in salads..also..a kale salad with quinoa that tasted good and LIGHT?? Amazing. If I lived in Arhlone this place would be at the top of my regular rotation for take out. Soo good. Thank you for feeding ne so well.

14/02/2025: I was very disappointed with the service I received today. I ordered a small vanilla latte and am certain that I specifically requested a vanilla latte, but the cashier likely did not include it in the order. After waiting for a while, I asked if the small latte was mine, but the barista informed me that there was no vanilla latte on the order docket. She then told me that if I wanted vanilla syrup, I would need to pay an additional $0.60. I wouldn’t have minded queuing and paying again if she had asked politely, but instead, she spoke to me aggressively and insisted I pay extra. I chose not to explain the situation further because the café was crowded. I was disappointed by the cashier’s unprofessional attitude and lack of customer service skills. I encourage the branch manager to provide proper training for the staff. In the end, I left the café without even receiving the latte I had paid for. I understand that working in hospitality can be challenging, but a little kindness, a smile, and a positive attitude wont hurt at all.

14/02/2025: Food was good and hot and quick! Service was poor the place was not that busy table service was nonexistent plus no glass for the coke I ordered, suppose it's OK to drink from the bottle. Toilets were well maintained with an update chart that was up to date.

24/07/2024: 5 stars! Location - the cutest village in county cork between Dunmanway and Skibbereen. There’s a VRBO next door in walking distance of the pub. It’s a great place to stop over on your drive or use a home base while you explore County Cork. Vibe - Classic Irish pub meets updated experience. The Gaelic Bar has taken away the dark wood color scheme from most pubs and the result is a fresh approach to having a pint, watching a game, playing darts, and eating pizza. Yes, pizza. Homemade by the owner with amazing flavor profiles. Expect a lot of fun / craic if you will, lively conversation, advice on surrounding things to do, games, and more.

16/02/2025: King Pizza is my go-to spot when I’m craving some solid, no-nonsense pizza. The toppings are always fresh, and they actually listen when you ask for extra cheese . Their delivery is pretty reliable, and the prices aren’t bad either
