07/09/2024: Very friendly and helpful host! We were allowed to spend the night in the parking lot in our motorhome for free. Unfortunately there is nothing to eat there, but we were able to order something from a pizza service and eat it in the restaurant!

29/01/2025: Realmente decepcionado, el té y dulce más caro que he tomado en un tiempo (7 € . 43 incluyendo propina de 68 centavos y recargo por leche alt). El té estaba muy débil a pesar de esperar varios minutos a que el difusor hiciera lo suyo, como las hojas se habían utilizado anteriormente.
La tarta de arándano también fue increíblemente decepcionante, no podía saborear lo que parecía curt de limón y la pastelería estaba empapada.
Increíblemente decepcionado teniendo en cuenta que me habían recomendado este lugar por un colega, evitaría. No vale la pena el precio ridículo.

09/02/2025: Booked a table for 8pm, ordered food at 8.10...9 pm still not delivered, this was our third time to eat here as is local, first time food was 40mins getting to the table, last night and nearly an hour. So we left and paid for the drink we had, spoke to the manager who said sorry but more in a go away your annoying me type of way. The waitress was very pleasant though, very friendly and polite, perhaps she could have a word with the manager. As a former pub manager dealing effectively with complaints is a huge part of the job. Very very poor.
29/01/2025: We’ve had both good and bad experiences with food in the Black Bull. At the start we went every couple of weeks and couldn’t fault it. But since before Christmas, probably around October we’ve noticed a decline in the quality of the food being served and with the service. We keep saying let’s give it one more chance and end up regretting it. I don’t like writing bad or average reviews but this is one I feel is needed and I hope the owners take it on board and it improves as we will probably give it one last try. Shame as for me it’s always been a drogheda institution

Chicken bone and piece had a foul smell inside and even chicken chilly was cold from inside and just reheated the chilly and biryani .
Chicken piece was not clean you can see the black stuff in photo
Very disappointed.
Please serve hygienic and good food to people .

03/02/2025: It is refreshing to see such genuinely kind staff in such a busy city like Dublin. I got a meal deal (prawn noodles + spring roll) and was absolutely satisfied. At first I was sceptical about the food quality when I saw the affordable price, but the quality and portion size didn't disappoint! I will definitely come again:)
18/01/2025: Nada malo aquí, pero nada que delatar. Servicio básico, comida básica - solo desearía que hubiera habido algo que realmente nos hizo decir BAM - VOLVEREMOS... pero ese bam especial faltaba.

01/11/2024: The food there was excellent. Very rich and with a great flavor. The beer is fresh and very well served.
The waitress was super friendly and advised us what to eat. We ordered fish and chips and a delicious sandwich.
The atmosphere was calm and with good music in the background.

23/02/2025: I ordered a sandwich with pistachio pesto,cream cheese and mortadella,I asked for no tomato, I asked for it on focaccia bread but they only had ciabatta. It was absolutely delicious, the bread was divine and the fillings were so fresh. I can't believe I haven't tried this place properly having only lived down the road, I will definitely be back. The sandwich selection is excellent and it seems like a lovely cosy place to sit down.

13/02/2025: This is a lovely welcoming coffee shop which I always visit when I’m in the area. Barista Akis engages with every customer with a friendly greeting and shows his appreciation for your business. There is lots of space and comfy seating. Very importantly, the coffee is excellent.
