22/02/2025: Honestly at first I thought this cafe was going to make me an average cappuccino, staff didn't seem to be doing all the fancy things that most coffee shops do these days like messing with the steamer, swirling the coffee , banging the jug ect but boy was I so wrong it was an AMAZING CAPPUCCINO . As a coffee lover it was one of the best cappuccinos I've had in a long long time. Staff were lovely. I was only visiting skibbereen but will certainly make it my business to call again.

22/02/2025: Gorgeous independent cafe with upcycled outdoor furniture and chilled latino music on sunny days. Sometimes buskers play music nearby. Coffee is great, staff are lovely. Brings me back to Ipanema beach except a bit (a lot) chillier! 😄❤️

02/02/2025: Small cafe next to the Salthill promenade, ideal to stop for a while, recharge your batteries and continue with a good walk. They have some benches and an umbrella, in case you want to enjoy your drink there, but they prepare everything to take away. The coffee is delicious and the location is fantastic, a short break is really enjoyable here. The prices hardly differ from other places in the city. Totally recommended!

04/11/2024: The food was very good, what I liked most was the service, attentive and fast. Maybe when I went it wasn't the best day because there weren't many people so it was very quiet. The site has incredible views. Perfect!!

04/02/2025: Love the food here, but (big but) the service needs attention. The girl serving on the Saturday day time had a fair amount of sass about her, and seemed annoyed when we asked for cutlery. You are offering a take out service, of course people will be wanting knives and folks!

22/02/2025: Good day. I'll start with the minuses in my opinion 👀 - I didn't taste the cakes, but I tried the cakes, I didn't expect such a disappointment. They are just very sweet, like eating a kilo of sugar. On the plus side, there are many young beautiful girls working here and the coffee is surprisingly very tasty, I would say that it is the best coffee in the city 🏙️. Conclusion If you want to come and cheer up, come see the pleasant staff and drink coffee, but no more.

19/02/2025: One of my all time favourite cafes, worth the drive to Mullingar! All the treats are delicious but my favourites include the cupcakes, white chocolate and raspberry biscuit cake and the sausage rolls. The cookie croissant is out of this world! Lovely staff always greet you with a smile. Their postal deliveries are great. I also ordered cupcakes for a hen party and they were a huge hit.

16/01/2025: Este es un pequeño stand dentro del mercado inglés. Tienen una buena selección y personal amable. Los rollos son enormes, pero si lo pides, los cortarán en porciones más pequeñas, alrededor de 4 - 5 rollos "regulares". No hay lugar dentro para sentarse y disfrutar, así que es mejor si encuentras un lugar para ir y disfrutar de tu sushi.

23/01/2025: Stayed in a suite with beautiful views over the Foyle and woke up to spectacular sunrises. The hotel itself is very quiet and relaxing. Staff very efficient and friendly. Food excellent - unfortunately didn’t have time to visit the spa. Will definitely be back. Beautiful beds very comfortable

15/01/2025: We almost felt scammed, no value for money. The "suite" was very dated, carpet stained and dirty, uneven creaking floors, no sound insulation, barely any wardrobe space and the bathroom was horrible: uselessly big, broken tiles, no hook or rail to hang towels and leaks on the ceiling and the side of the shower. The spa wasn't a relaxing experience as advertised: the pool was full of kids (nothing against kids having the best time of their lives but it's advertised as almost a zen space and it's not) and the massage was not as expected; we asked the therapist multiple times for a light pressure but to no luck. The edge restaurant was fantastic, the only highlight of the stay. Service was overall good during our stay. Would return to the restaurant but not stay at the hotel.

14/02/2025: Stayed here for two nights and was allocated room (238) which was average, but showing signs of aging. The shower had a foul drainage smell. The sink plug was broken, meaning the sink wouldn’t drain properly unless the plug was completely removed and the shower tiles had a noticeable buildup of dirt. The biggest issue was the noise - both nights were disturbed by loud bass and music, likely from other rooms or private events in the hotel. This went on until midnight, which made getting a good night’s sleep difficult. If staying again, I’d request a room on the 5th floor to avoid the noise issues. Breakfast was mediocre. Only one coffee machine leads to long queues at busy times. Another issue was the food labelling which was inaccurate, with items not matching their respective tags; which could be a concern for anyone with allergies or intolerances. Despite the negatives, all team members were polite and friendly. I would only stay again if guaranteed a quieter room.
