26/07/2025: My Misfortune to choose for. My lunch last Monday …. Batter cod Outside of 2. Floury potatoes the veg were dismal ( How hard can that be ) and fish was soulless . Why bother if that’s your best

03/11/2025: We enjoyed the elegant, warm atmosphere and friendly staff. We nearly had the restaurant to ourselves. It was surprising that, with it nearly empty, the wait staff chose to seat us directly next to the only other couple there with the restaurant full of empty tables? Steak was perfectly cooked, succulent and tasty. Good portions and tasty sides. Overall, a wonderful experience and will return.

24/02/2026: Nice good options within the garden centre. I will not say it’s great but it’s nice for a stopover.

08/12/2025: Popped in for a couple of pints. Didn't eat but others in the group did. Food was excellent and the pints were creamy. It was afternoon so it was a bit quite. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend highly.
