25/11/2025: We went in to celebrate My Nieces 15th Birthday, they were so accommodating and nice, we had brought a cake and they said they would bring it out at the end of the meal no issue. We apologise for the tornado that is my 11 month old daughter, she made quite a mess but they were lovely about it. Food was delicious 😋

09/04/2026: Been here before in 2024 and the food was lovely. Not the case today we ordered fish and chips it was disgusting! Sloppy fish in bright yellow sloppy batter. Didn't eat it because I didnt want to be ill. I can safely say it was the worst meal I have ever had!

13/04/2026: I visited Grind today for the first time. Excellent young man greeted and seated me immediately. My sourdough sandwich was delicious and a fine big pot of tea. Very impressed with the food and service. Can't wait for a return visit. Really impressed by staff . Keep it up.

31/05/2026: This was a great little find, most of the other restaurants were closed. Hot and fresh fish n chips. Delicious! If you are looking for someplace to eat after 9 o’clock, this is a safe bet.

10/06/2026: My favourite Chinese by a mile. The beef in the black bean sauce is so tender it melts in your mouth, the soup is incredible, and the curry is absolutely unreal. It's not the cheapest, but the quality is on another level and worth every cent. Consistently delicious and always my go-to when I want a really good Chinese. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

24/04/2026: There was no atmosphere, and there were only two of us in the restaurant. The food was good, but there wasn't even any bread on the table. They only offered bottled drinks. The restrooms weren't very clean. We only ate the main course.

13/10/2025: Stopped by The Glass House at the Montenotte Hotel in Cork for drinks, and it’s exactly the kind of spot you want on a sunny afternoon. The view is incredible especially if you sit outside, you can see almost the entire city, which makes for the perfect backdrop. 🌞🍹 I went with a cocktail and a small plate, and both were delightful well-made, refreshing, and perfect for a leisurely sip while taking in the view. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great spot for drinks with a view. Nothing over the top just good drinks, stunning scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere. 25/05/2026: This place is legit! They definitely know how to do a good thin crust. Fast service, no-nonsense. Pickup a pie ,or just grab a slice. I would highly recommend it.

09/05/2026: Wonderful hotel for 3 guests. Central location and nice staff. Music played outside until 1-2 am is a deterrent. Everything else was great but the outside atmosphere was tough to deal with every night. Again not the hotels fault, but definitely something to consider

18/03/2026: Tables a mess and not enough staff to cope at busy times, wish the would pay staff more !!

15/03/2026: Worker with long blonde hair was very unhygenic while preparing food. I seen him once with his finger in his nose and then wiping it into his shirt. He also appeared very rude giving customers dirty looks and what liked him talking bad about customers to other employees. I told him to cheer up abit and his expression immediatly changed and told me to go away. I did not eat my food as what I witnessed made me feel sick which resulted me having to go buy food from the food place beside.

13/09/2025: Its sold as halal but it's very questionable. Some of the suppliers have said they don't sell halal so I'd be careful.

17/04/2026: Avoid this place in the hight of the fuel crisis this shop took the liberty of charging some of the dearest prices in the county for diesel at 2.24 a litre I will never step foot in this place again and I strongly suggest no 1 else does either. Why should we support a business that didn't support its customers when they needed it the most
