Nanny Quinn's
Killucan
06/01/2026: Unfortunately, Nanny Quinns has closed down now. We didn't book ahead of time but we will in future. That said they were very accommodating and took the pressure in their stride.Lovely old style pub serving great food and a great pint. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was second to none. Beside the canal so perfect for a drink on warmer days. I have passed it by for years but now that we are actually living nearby, we will definitely be frequent visitors.

Grind Coffee & Food Hub
Galway
10/01/2026: Service is become poor in the last few months, waiting staff do not look interested in serving tables,I had to ask for tap water 4 times today...same situation the time before plus undercooked pancakes...the falafel is not nice anymore, they bring a mix of colored peppers with few rocket leaves and the falafel balls, dry, taste less..not coming back there for food again.
17/12/2025: Grind (Briarhill) is a real Find, a cafe really worth seeking out & aiming for, regardless of what else brings you to Galway, in fact Grind deserves to be the reason itself for travelling to Galway. Overall, great ambience, layout, buzz, comfort, menu.. Great food, great coffee. But most of all really attentive fantastic service by the multitude of servers.
We were late converts to Grind, only discovering its' sister Dock Street branch a week before it closed 🙁 - but Grind Briarhill is even better🙂🙂 Thanks!

Sale e Pepe
Malahide
16/01/2026: This place is very quaint, with an almost 'community' or 'family' feel that comes from being clearly bootstrapped and family-run. The service was excellent. The food wasn’t Michelin-star level and felt like something I could have made at home, but it was fairly priced for the area and for Dublin these days.
15/01/2026: Always lovely to arrive into Sale e Pepe as feels like home as know all the staff for so long now

Nando's
Dublin
14/03/2026: Just had a visit at Blanchardstown Nando's, the food and atmosphere was excellent!! Shout out to Ames for the amazing service, thank you!
11/03/2026: Nice tasty food!!! Nando’s is a popular restaurant chain that’s known for its Portuguese-style flame-grilled chicken, especially its peri-peri sauce.

06/10/2025: 5 stars.
We ordered an ube cake for my son’s first birthday on very short notice, and they absolutely delivered! The cake was soft, moist, and so delicious everyone loved it. Thank you for making his special day even sweeter!

Emilia's
Enniskerry
15/10/2025: My husband and I ate here several times during our honeymoon in Ireland. This was way back in January and we are still craving the food! The owner and his wife were incredible people to share a conversation with, and the food and atmosphere were unmatched. Can’t wait to return, with love, from Texas!
17/09/2025: Without a doubt the best ravioli I e had in my life! This sauce will haunt me for ever! Owned, run and operated by an Italian couple who know what they are doing and are so presale and fun! 5 stars is not enough!

Tenters Gastropub
Dublin
10/03/2026: We found this place at the last minute for dinner last night. It was the shortest walk from our hotel - Hyatt Centric.
It worked out wonderfully for our entire group. We ordered fish and chips because it was gluten free. It was delicious!!!! The batter on the fish, texture was crispy and fresh. Love their 🍟 fries!!! It was definitely tasty and I liked the way it was cut, almost like steak fries cut but a groove in the middle to balance out the weight. The tartar sauce served with fish and chips was the right balance of spices.
Our servers were extremely friendly and efficient with what their services.
Tip: they do serve tap water, just gotta know to ask for it.
10/03/2026: Very good fish and chips here. I was happy with this selection as it was some of the best dm fish I have had to this point. It was cooked perfectly and was gluten free. I would recommend this dish to anyone looking for something good to eat. I also enjoyed a cider and I had a local beer called 5 lamps. Both were good.

The Washerwoman
Dublin
22/02/2026: Fantastic find! Great service, great food and such a cool little restaurant! I’ll be back 😊
15/02/2026: The experience in the Washerwoman was too tired. From the environment to the staff and the food. Nothing bad at all to say about the restaurant. Not even a single water mark on any of the cutlery or glass. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Zappi's
Galway
15/03/2026: A hidden gem in the centre of Galway. These are Pepperoni pizza and Pizza Italia with Parma ham, the best pizza I've ever tried in Galway and even the most Neapolitan 😂 This place is in the centre near Eyre Square, inside there's Italian music and Italian style that makes you feel immediately near the Colosseo. Prices are not more expensive than others pizzerias.
10/10
07/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant portions are awful and food tastes store bought. We got bruschetta and it was 6 cherry tomatoes cut up with some dried herbs on a small baguette slice.
The gnocchi is store bought and tasted like slime. My lasagna was chunky and covered in cheese so it was greasy. We have been here multiple times before but it’s gotten worse and worse with each visit.
There is no passion, care or love put into the food. When we said to the waitress about the food quality she didn’t seem to care or want to do anything to help.
We paid over €70 for an awful dinner that I could have made 10 times better at home.

Ephesus Kebab
New ross
28/09/2025: Very very good kebab. Numero Uno w calej Irlandii. What would I change? 1. Wrap it in aluminium foil first than paper -no wet hands and soaked paper.
2. Spicy sauce should be more spicy.
3. Bigger portions.
17/09/2025: Great little place to visit for an absolutely fantastic takeaway Kabab meal, the food is hot, tender and plentyful, and great value for money, you won't be hungry afterwards, highly recommended
