The best restaurants

07/02/2025: Complete disregard for peoples health and safety. Filled the tank and returned to a unsecured cover that had fallen off as seen not locked correctly and a live running motor exposed. I brought it to the correct attention but left completely unsatisfied with management's response. Won't be returning.

04/12/2024: The cafe itself is located in the shopping center, and there is a separate entrance from the street. You can leave your car in a large parking lot next to this center. We really liked that the food was brought on warm plates - this immediately created a feeling of care for the quality of service. The menu is varied, the price of the dishes included tea, coffee and cappuccino, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff is polite and friendly, it was nice to receive the order. The quality of the food is high, everything was very tasty, especially pleased with the delicious coffee! The prices are quite reasonable, and the quality is completely consistent. The only thing I would like to improve is the size of the premises, it could be a little more spacious. Overall, the impressions are very positive, I will definitely come back!

05/01/2025: Just popped in with the family for a bit of lunch, l ordered the fish and chips.. priced 16euro ,unfortunately the very thin piece of fish was swamped in a very thick (pastry like) batter. It gave the appearance of a decent sized portion of fish.. which it wasn't. I can't speak for anything else on the menu but l certainly couldn't recommend the fish and chips. The chef needs to have a word with himself/herself.

15/12/2024: An excellent restaurant. I have dined here several times and the server, Michael, is so professional, attentive and friendly. The Caesar salad is a high point here and they use a buttermilk soaked chicken breast. An excellent meal

18/01/2025: Ooft as a visitor from the UK prices are eye wateringly high! I'm used to 4 cookies for £1.50 here you get 4 for €4.25 about £3.80 give or take. View other photos for outrageous prices. Bottle of 10 year old Laphroaig €67 i get it for max £35 3 bits of cheese €17!!!

21/12/2024: New to the area & first time vister I don't drive so I walked to supervalu with a little 2yr old I immediately notice how extremely expensive everything was while immediately experiencing how incredibly & extremely rude everyone was, the staff would frown & huff & roll their eyes for no reason I left half my shopping behind as couldn't wait to leave with such hostility. As I returned my trolley I was approached by a supervalu worker returning trolleys, difficult to see too clearly in the dark with poor surroundings lighting, I kindly repeated how I didn't need assistances as was just about to insert the trolley into another & but he kept insistenting while standing over me as I took little one out of the trolley I hurried & was startled when suddenly took the trolley & inserted it anyway & pocketed my coin but still wouldn't go away until an old lady approached for a trolley. I knew he just wanted pocket money from the trollys but my gut didn't like how he still wouldn't walked away & kept watching us until someone approached. I walked fast until I was home. I won't be back

28/01/2025: Has never felt the same post Covid, unfortunately. Food gone way downhill recently. Great garden at back, but was almost impossible to get served many times last Summer.

18/02/2025: We went here expecting pub grub and we were actually shocked with how good the food was, we had several dishes including starters and mains everything was amazing the pasta tastes fresh which makes all the difference I would highly recommend you will not be disappointed

14/01/2025: Wonderful Indian cuisine, beautifully presented and cooked. Friendly and helpful staff who take pride in their work, spacious and comfortable surroundings and a good menu. The only reason for my four stars for Atmosphere is the mens toilet was grotty and could badly do with an overhaul and a good scrub up.

13/10/2024: Visited The Bunratty Inn while in the area. It is usually quite busy anytime I've been in Schull. Decided to give it a try as I had not been there for sometime. I was not disappointed. I opted for the warm chicken salad. It was absolutely gorgeous. It had loads of chicken and a lovely salad. Staff are attentive and the kitchen was turning out some lovely dishes. Be aware though the kitchen closes for an hour in the afternoon, so time your visit. I will call again when in the area.

29/09/2024: Amazing! Our friend recommended this place and she said they have the best kebab in our area so we travelled from Tralee to verify it and she was 100% right. Great food, reasonable prices and big portions. Very yummy! We ordered Mix Kebab, Taco fries, chicken wrap, Oreo and kinder Bueno milkshake. Everything was very tasty, fresh, seasoned well and just like it should be. We will definitely come back! Thank you!
