14/06/2026: A long evening with live music, would love to do it again.

02/06/2026: We had a really positive experience at the Kerry Coast Hotel, and would definitely go back there for a stay. We only stayed one night, and got quite lucky as we had booked the stay for May holiday weekend, and as it turned out, there was a Folk Festival going on that weekend and there were live bands all over town but also at the pub of the hotel, which was lovely and loads of fun. We were completely shocked at how quiet it was in the rooms. The pub (and live music) was right next to the hotel with the rooms but we could barely hear anything when we went to the room, which was really lovely because we were quite tired after a long day of adventures in Kerry and the folk festival right after dinner. Dinner was nice and there were quite a few options. We ate in the pub and they even had a vegan option for me, which was wonderful and very handy, because we didn’t have to search the whole town to find something for me to enjoy as well. Same goes for breakfast. I had asked the day we arrived if there is a possibility for me to get a vegan breakfast in the morning and they accommodated me with no problem. We'd like to give a huge shoutout to Geraldine, who welcomed us and who made sure I was looked after when it came to having vegan food. She was absolutely brilliant and so sweet. She even remembered a brief conversation we had on a very busy night for her because of the festival, where I had told her that this trip was a surprise trip for my birthday, which was coming up on the Monday after the weekend. She surprised me after breakfast with a slice of cake and a candle in it, which was so unexpected because I had completely forgotten about our conversation about that. It made me so happy and was such a sweet gesture. She was a wonderful host and made us feel super welcome and looked after. The rooms were clean and the bed, covers, and pillows were super comfortable. We are looking forward to coming back, and have even recommended the place to family and friends.

23/07/2026: Vegan wrap is gross, wish there were better options for veggies as I hear the other sandwiches are gorgeous. Lovely staff and coffee though.

01/07/2026: Nice place to go to. I'd recommend this place. They also sell duck feed as well. Only thing, if you're a vegetarian you may or may not get a veggie option depending on who's serving. Its a bit random. I managed to get it twice but magically a day later I couldn't get it. If you can get it though the sandwich is great. Edit:

09/07/2026: I was a little skeptical, but we were very surprised. The food is excellent. I ordered a Thai pastis, and it was excellent. The same goes for the choc mein and the sushi.

21/05/2026: We ordered take out from here for a group of 4 late at night, the service was fast and friendly despite being almost closing time. The food was delicious! I had chicken curry with 1/2 rice and 1/2 fries, would absolutely come back here again.

04/09/2026: Best mixed grill around. Lovely breads and salads too. Excellent starter - aloo and chicken milai. Sweet lassi.

24/08/2026: Absolutely fantastic experience! The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully prepared. Everything tasted delicious and you could really tell that quality ingredients and care went into every dish. The service was excellent — friendly, welcoming, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and enjoyable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Great food, great people, and a lovely atmosphere. I would happily come back again and would definitely recommend BBQ Tonight to anyone looking for a really enjoyable meal. Well deserved 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

22/08/2026: Good tea, "tea for one" was a cup and a half, worth it! Lemon curd cake and carrot was basic, and the hot cocoa was very nice. Wish the teapot was not dusty and the spiderwebs that cover the windows were cleared. They're undergoing some restaurations right now though and hot food is only available until 3pm. Otherwise, the plants were beautiful and there's a lot of gardening stuff here, my go to store from now on.

07/09/2026: I ordered a large amount of sharing boxes for a work event and couldn’t be happier with the service and quality of food. The Picnic team went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were so friendly and helpful to work with. Will definitely use them again for future events!

15/09/2026: I ordered the Saag Paneer and Lamb Vindaloo. The Saag Paneer was good as usual, and I’ve tried several other curries here in the past that were also very good. Unfortunately, the Lamb Vindaloo was a complete disappointment. It tasted almost exactly like mixed pickle, with an overwhelming sourness — it was like taking a shot of lemon juice. It was easily the worst Vindaloo I have ever tasted. I’m not sure what went wrong this time, but the dish was nowhere near what I expected from this restaurant. Hopefully it was just a one-off, as I have enjoyed their food before.

12/07/2026: The takeaway food at Mayur is tasty. The food in the restaurant however is phenomenal. Take my advice. Get a table in the Mayur restaurant. Sit in. Get some wine. Enjoy the food.

13/08/2026: Since Artisan has changed owner, Yuan-Yuan ( Elva) and staff have transformed the menu and the vibe. Food was delicious and best homemade falafel I've had in a long time. Prices are reasonable also. Nice lunch spot or dinner. Highly recommend👍.

12/08/2026: Delicious food, lovely service, good coffee. Very family-friendly - we were immediately given high chairs and toys for the baby and the toddler 🙂 a decent changing table was also there.

28/08/2026: We had the soup of the day (tomato soup) and the sausage roll; both were hot and very tasty. The service was excellent. We'd gladly come again.

19/06/2026: I stay here regularly for work and love it being by the sea. It's worth paying the extra usually only € 20-30 for sea view. Service very good and close to town centre and sea front.

18/06/2026: It was a night to remember! Having to celebrate our silver anniversary in TUH and Ireland in an iconic place is really amazing! The staffs are so accomodating and friendly. The rooms were so nice. Will be back to treat my family friends here!

21/08/2026: Delicious food, very friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere make this restaurant a great choice for dinner with friends. The journey there isn't excessive.
