The best restaurants

04/02/2025: Came here today for a meal as we often do. Approx 5.30 Despite it being quiet it took a while for either of the 2 girls on duty to notice us. They seemed very inexperienced. However once seated the service was fairly quick and food was excellent. The egg mayo starter was beautiful. Beef was excellent and hot as was the mashed potato and veg was quite good. The only flaw was that the building like many other establishments was quite cold and this was disappointing. I would recommend that a front of house manager be on duty at all times and a uniform would go down quite well as staff here often wear different clothes... and maybe a little background music to create an atmosphere Good luck to the new owners in their venture.

28/10/2024: While passing through Ireland for a road trip, we were recommended this pub in Mountbellew. We were not disappointed. Very good meat and very good salmon. The atmosphere was friendly. Friendly staff. I recommend this place

03/12/2024: Food is warming and delicious. Staff welcoming and lovely. Cosy homely atmosphere. Coffee is good. Can't ask for more for lunch/brekafast. Ideal.

04/01/2025: One of the worst places you can go to eat a crepe, the ice cream is good but leaves a lot to be desired, there is a very unpleasant boy, I do not recommend going to this place at all, only if you want to be mistreated!

06/01/2025: The Fish and Chips We're Delicious In The Kitchen On The Main Street and The Retail Park Is No Longer Anymore. The Staff Was Friendly and Got Me A Bottle Of Coke When I Payed My Order I Would like to Visit Here Again.

16/02/2025: Had breakfast here for the first time in a long time, I got the granola, portion size was rather small for the pri e paid but overall lovely food

20/01/2025: I ordered 2 quiches and asked for some bread with it , was charged 2.75 extra for 2 tiny pieces of soda bread that were toasted as I would assume not fresh enough. I asked for some more bread and was given 2 more tiny pieces of soda bread and charged another 2.75 !! What made it worse was the attitude of the staff who showed zero respect.i returned the second helping of bread but paid the 2.75 and no comment from staff ! Very disappointing experience as I always liked the place but won’t be returning! What chance has hospitality recovering if this is what to expect ! I don’t usually post anything but felt I had to and hopefully others won’t order extra bread here !!

15/11/2024: The pizza in Carletto's is amazing. It is so tasty you will definitely go back for more. You can tell it is a family run pizzeria because they care. The staff are very friendly and the customer service is excellent.
