The best restaurants

19/02/2026: Called in on spec as on a longish trip. Ordered battered sausage and a large chip. Sausage nice. Chips nice, but, portion size was small for a large chip. Prices the going rate. Stopped in Parnell Grill in Clomel. Huge portions and , tbh, tastier than Robertos. Prices similar, portion size not. Would not go out of my way to go to.

05/02/2026: Ordered and paid for a pizza for delivery over 70 mins ago and still no sign of it. Will never order from here again. Finally arrived 80 minutes after i paid for it. Delivery person said they were busy. Note to Robertos, try to be transparent about delivery or just dont deliver! Pizza was barely warm. Do yourself a favour, collect it or order somewhere else. I'm going back to where i usually order from. Better service.

27/02/2026: Big place, traditional chinese style. Excellent food. Very tasty meals, everything was excellent 👌 we really enjoyed our dinner, shredded chicken with saute sauce and fillet beef with black bean sauce. The service was amazing, very attentive girl, even though it was busy. Definitely recommended, sit in and enjoy.

15/02/2026: The service was quick and very friendly, however the only let down was the food. The dishes came out suspiciously quick. The starters were good, but small portions. The pasta was very bad, chicken was like ready to eat chicken not fresh and the sauce was watery, pretty bland, and expected more from an Italian restaurant. The pizza base was so thin and burnt, with the toppings falling off, and again watery. We got a cookie sandwich and tiramisu for desert, cookie was hard and basic Hp ice cream. The tiramisu was basic nothing special. Disappointed in the food overall.

20/12/2025: I have been eating at espresso for years now. I visited the other night and unfortunately left disappointed . The menu appears to have been reduced and a number of the Italian dishes seem to have been removed such as the Tagliatelle Al Fungi (which is strange considering it’s an Italian restaurant). I thought the food was very overpriced for what it was, €19 for a carbonara! And hardly any pancetta in it. For dessert, my friend and I ordered tiramisu’s and tea and were given cups that were visibly dirty and given no spoons to stir our milk. I was also Disappointed to see the portion of Tiramisu had greatly reduced but the price had increased. Overall, the experience was disappointing and I felt like it was poor value for money and I don’t think I’ll be in any rush to return.

24/07/2025: Absolutely blown away by the cake Quigley’s made for my wife’s birthday! It looked stunning, tasted incredible, and was a real showstopper at the party. Everyone was asking where we got it from and my wife couldn’t have been happier! What made it even better was how quick and easy their online ordering service was. Simple to navigate, great communication, and everything was ready exactly as promised. Massive thanks to the whole team at Quigley’s for making the day extra special. We’ll definitely be ordering again for the next occasion! 🎂👏

16/01/2026: Kimmy's serves the best food in Dungarvan. Sadly they are not open for dinner but we miss them if we eat elsewhere. Highly recommend best quality of food and amazing service.

10/09/2025: Staff was fantastic. The place is nice but cannot understand why they do not have tables. I had an excellent flat white... but for 5 euros! Not even in Greystones I pay so much for a coffee. No wonder why it is always empty.

18/02/2026: My parents who are in their late 70s & early 80s drive 29km to get there 3 to 4 days a week and absolutely love the place, staff are great and massive portions. Thats says enough really 😊

28/10/2025: Really great tea and coffee and cakes and deli items. Also you really have to try their basil-and-lime dressing for salads, it’s astonishing! We always get a couple of extra bottles to have at home on our salads. Delicious!

11/08/2025: Great value for bagels! I had their Californian bagel for under €8 and it was great! Now, for me, a tiny stomach girlie this portion was perfect but if you have a bigger appetite then you might need 2 bagel sandwiches. The bacon in my bagel was a bit dry but other than that it was all good for the price and it was a quick turnaround and they are made fresh and the staff are lovely too!
