21/12/2024: Not the worst place and food to be fair. Staff is nice however the quality of the food is really poor. Noodles taste like pot noodles. Spice bag is just okay not the worst i had also not the best. Wouldn't recommend way better places especially in Ashbourne such as the noodle place at the XL. Very poor considering that nasti was advertising the place alot not a good look for him.

04/02/2025: I made a pit stop at Hannon’s Hotel, hoping to enjoy a hearty meal. I ordered the chicken curry with chips, but to my disappointment, the dish fell short of expectations. The curry was served tepid and lacked distinct flavor; it came across as exceedingly bland and unappetizing. The chicken was overcooked, and the consistency was far too watery, leaving the entire experience feeling rather lackluster. The chips, rather than providing a crispy contrast, were soggy and unappealing. Overall, I found the meal to be quite unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend it.
03/02/2025: Didn't rest well on there old worn out beds and room cleaned only once in three nights stay. Not recommended to stay here.

13/09/2024: Since moving to Clonakilty the green dot has been such a staple- my son and I stopped here for many breakfasts, lunches, and coffees over the summer and I always felt confident that both of us were getting something healthy (as well as a sweet treat, he loves the cookies).
Niamh is such a standout employee, my son can be shy with strangers so it made a huge difference to me that she has been patient and kind to him (and to me!)
Absolutely recommend The Green Dot.

12/01/2025: This was our first visit to King Sitric and unfortunately, it will be our last. Extremely disappointing. Garlic prawns were undercooked & lacked any flavour. The fish & chips were what you'd expect from Donegal Catch, not a 4* restaurant/hotel. Soggy chips, tastleless. The calamari was anaemic, not golden fried. Mayo, aioli & tartare sauces were all bizarre - more like bland white sauce than mayo. Disappointing creme brulee, taste was nice but the texture was curdled. The tempura prawns were nice, as were the mussels. Such a let down.
05/01/2025: Lovely, cosy surroundings for fresh and tasty seafood after a long, coastal walk. Fire was very welcome, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the menu was wonderfully fresh and tasty. Pleasant and relaxed feel. Thank you!

02/02/2025: We arrived in with a larger group including 5 children. We were quickly accommodated. We had a short time to eat as we were going to a tour. Service was quick and the staff are so pleasant. The chicken burger was delicious as was the Cajun chicken panini. One in our group had dietary restrictions and were recommended the omelette which was delicious. The pizza was a bit too cheese heavy for us but most people like that style. Overall, excellent value for money and prompt service. Worth stopping in for your lunch.

Now the food OMG so good I was so impressed and I was just in trim for a night and fell upon this place highly recommend

04/02/2025: A very nice little restaurant located upstairs on the main street in malahide directly across from Duffys pub. We arrived late on Sunday night, so it wasn't overly busy. The starters arrived quickly and were very generous and tasty. We received complimentary pompedoms and dips on arrival. They served authentic Indian beer, which was nice. They also served wines. The food was very nice and wasn't overly spicy. You might be able to ask for it to be hotter (i didn't). The staff were very nice and gave a nice welcome. We had starters,Mains, and some drinks only cost around €80. They also offer a delivery service. I will go again, thanks 👍

Newtowncunnigham called La Bella Donna. Base thin n crispy with fresh toppings. Fantastic bag of chips doused in salt & vinegar. A credit to ace owner/chef, Joe Cannon from Gortahork. Newtown has struck gold having a guru pizzeria of this calibre.
