30/06/2025: Ordered 2 breakfast rolls, 5 minutes within ordering my food I rang them to add dietary requirements( it says ring restaurant to add dietary requirements),as there is no option when ordering and was told the order left the shop? Within 5 minutes of ordering food? So firstly not fresh and secondly they wouldn’t let me add my preference said well cancel your order and reorder it? Not happy at all not a good service. If you are ordering food you should be allowed to give dietary requirements. Won’t be ordering again

15/03/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and tastes truly authentic, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, and the waitress is very attentive to every detail. We had the lamb special with rice and fries. The pita bread was a distinctive touch that added extra value to the meal.

20/03/2026: After a lovely meal a couple of weeks ago, I decided to book a table for 8 for a special event, for April 2nd. I received two calls yesterday from the restaurant while I was working so missed them. I had intended to call back this evening to confirm everything but about a hour ago, there was a voice message on my phone telling me the reservation was cancelled, with a rude attitude. This kind of behaviour two weeks out from the date is unacceptable and restaurants complain about customers not showing up etc. They should treat their paying customers with more respect as without them, their doors would be closed. I disagree with your reply. Your records are incorrect. The reservation was for 2 weeks yesterday, April 2nd, so to say " days leading up to the reservation " is incorrect. There also were two calls with two voice messages left and as I mentioned I intended to call back but before I could another rude voice message was left to cancel the table. Good faith should be part of every business and after spending a considerable amount of money for a table of 4, a few weeks ago, and then making a reservation for 8, I feel there should have been a better understanding from your team.

22/08/2025: After a long day biking we wanted somewhere nice to rest up and eat. Walked by and on a whim went in, early for Ireland but best decision ever. Four great meals came out, well presented and delicious. Recommend the lamb rack, everything about it was just right. The staff were lovely as well, very good communication from them, keep it up.

12/03/2026: A service charge of 12.5% was added to our bill for 2 people, myself and a friend. I didn't realise this until after I'd paid the bill. I actually had added a tip and while the waitress was processing my bill I looked at the receipt because I was curious about why the bill was expensive. I said oh I didn’t realise there was service charge already on the receipt and she just smiled and gave me back my card. No apology. I thought it was unfair she didn’t mention there was service already included. I ended up paying service charge and a tip. Service charge is usually added to a group of 5 or more people, which I can understand but not for anything less than that. I have never seen service charge added for less than 5 people. It left a sour taste on what was overall a nice experience with tasty food and service up to that point. I won’t be going back, on prices that are already inflated, automatically adding a 12.5% charge is crazy.

05/02/2026: Fish Bar.. Where do I start? These guys took over about three years ago and have been an incredible addition to the community. Food is incredible. Service is even better. I love these guys (not as much as the Chicken Fillet Burger). Me and the glam girls love to go here for a cheat meal after Perpetua. 10 grams of protein in an goujon??? Yes please girlies.

27/07/2025: Found this bar on a trip up the River Shannon. We decided to go up the River Suck randomly and check out the town for the night. John was an amazing host, great bar and a beautiful town. Highly recommend a visit!

19/03/2026: Very tasty, quality food, super service, lovely friendly staff.

25/10/2025: Staff are lovely. However food was disappointing, veggie sandwich which had a laughable amount inside, considering the high price, told staff and sandwich returned still ridiculous small amount of filling. The wait for the food took ages before this even occured so I just ate it when it came back out, unsatisfied after meal. No side salad or anything with small sandwich.

20/01/2026: All the food are good. I’m from peru and it’s difficult to find good food or in defect big dishes. I think this is a good place if you want to eat your lunch. There are a los of protein and price is good.

29/11/2025: Bought a Magnum from the freezer on Thursday night and ended up with a full blown food poisoning. The ice cream was clearly stored in poor conditions:Texture off, signs of thawing and refreezing. Classic freezer mismanagement. I was sick for more than twenty four hours. The worst part is that someone else ate another Magnum from the same trip and had no issue, which means one single unit went bad because the freezer is not holding a stable temperature. That should never happen with packaged ice cream. For a store that positions itself as a premium convenience shop, this is unacceptable. Fix the freezer or check your stock more often. Sarcastically, I would not recommend this place for fresh products.

08/02/2026: Went for a bite to eat with my wife and 9 month old son and everything was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and the food was top notch. Can't wait to go back again!

22/02/2026: Use to order from here every week nearly , until valentines night we got a take away , I am 6 months pregnant and got my usual spag and meatballs My partner got chicken wings as we got home and ate my partner expressed his concerns that his wings were pink ( I did not have any luckily) fast forward to 2/3 hours later my partner was projectile Vomiting in the toilet and had diahorrea until Sunday evening we emailed the restaurant asap on the Sunday or Monday and got a response back regarding a phone call and a manager called him the Wednesday or Thursday evening to which took absolutely no blame and said the suppliers cooks all the wings and they deep fry them, there was no apology or nothing and manager kept telling my partner food poisoning does not kick in so soon which is false information. The managers manner was absolutely appalling and we did not even want to leave a review at all up until we received that phone call we’re no accountability was taken, and my partner was gaslighted and told good position doesn’t happen so soon. The phone call was ended and he was told “you’ll be called back tomorrow” that did not happen and an email came after with a 20 euro refund offered. As stated above the last thing we wanted to do was to leave a review for a small business especially because the restaurant accommodated us more than once for a last minute booking etc but the managers attitude on the phone was beyond unprofessional.

05/02/2026: €40 for 2 pizzas and a bag of chips. Outrageously priced for what is bang average pizza. Dough is grand but far far far too much cheese.

09/10/2025: This was one of the best pizzas I can remember. We ordered the 12” Calabrese pizza and a side salad that was more than my wife and I could eat. The pizza crust was very good, the cheese was Italian mozzarella and whole black olives came on the pizza instead of little dried out olive slices. The owners who operate Numero Uno are from Italy just south of Rome and were very nice.
