The best restaurants

24/11/2025: 10/10 banana bread and very fresh. Tasty well made coffee. Looking forward to trying the sushi bar. A very cute corner café 🐻

12/05/2026: I ordered online for a chicken korma with boiled rice, naan bread and pompadoms. Said online it would take about 35-50 mins. Hour went past and I tried calling 3 times and then I looked it up and the place was shut. My food eventually arrived after 1 hour 15 mins and when I opened the bag they forgot my rice and the naan bread was completely cold. The korma also tastes really sweet, no spice or taste to it at all. So disappointed

28/03/2026: A great bar and restaurant. Our family just spent a couple of evenings in The Townhouse and we were so well looked after. Really lovely food and reasonably priced. We will be back again!

15/10/2025: Best cafe in limerick by miles. Beautiful creamy coffee and that porridge would keep u full for ages. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I have only been here twice and I should've tried this place months ago. Great value for money too 😃

21/03/2026: I’m a delivery driver and picking up orders from this place is a nightmare they don’t even want to talk to you very an organised and poor customer service anyway who work as a delivery driver avoid this place at all costs

14/03/2026: I ordered a Brekkie Mac at 10:50 - I waited for 15 minutes and asked about my food. I was told by a worker that it wasn't even started at that point, so I requested a refund. I was the only person ordering food at the time and the staff were chatting away. I've nothing against chatting to help the boredom but it seemed like no one was checking about there the food was. Two men who looked like senior members of the team used an emergency exit to get access back into the building rather than using the appropriate access point. Seemed like a mess.

10/09/2025: Staff was fantastic. The place is nice but cannot understand why they do not have tables. I had an excellent flat white... but for 5 euros! Not even in Greystones I pay so much for a coffee. No wonder why it is always empty.

Their service is good which was a surprise as the service in general in getting very poor around, but they have plenty of young guys all very friendly nice and quick. The timing for the food was actually short price was ok same as the portions it was right! They have lived music and the atmosphere gets very nice! Highly recomend the place

16/05/2026: Ordered a curry and asked for green and red peppers to be added and they mistakenly added red and green chili peppers. Burned the mouth ascinder, contacted them about it and they sent out the original curry with red and green peppers bell peppers.

04/01/2026: Arrived really quick, was pleasantly surprised... until I tasted the food. The shredded chicken was like tiny pieces of cardboard. The ribs took approx. 5 mins to chew per bite. The chicken balls were all batter, no chicken. And the wings were so so.

04/09/2025: Feel a bit wrong reviewing as we rushed through, but it appeared as if it had Beamish!! Signs for Beamish, Murphys and Guinness, so your 3 major Irish stouts. Was a biker group and whole town was packed so we didnt get a chance to stop. Charming little town though! 2:30pm on a Sunday, August 24 2025.

03/10/2025: Today I went to Velo Café, totally exhausted and struggling with the weather. I had a big buggy and wanted to sit outside. But the lovely lady invited me to take a seat. I just got green tea, nothing else, but the treated us like a VIP client. I was able to feed the toddler and just got a break from my day. I'll be coming back here because the staff is absolutely lovely. Reny&Jude

13/06/2026: Was in it today got a dinner box the two girls taking the orders were two lovely girl at back was the staff cooking one lady thought she was something but mutton dressed as lamb comes to mind food ok nothing special very dirty kip really

23/05/2026: It's very difficult to serve at night. .... 2 stations, but only 1 is being served, and nothing is said about only one order counter being open.

08/05/2026: The Caprese Salad and the Pizza Diavola were delicious and more than enough for 2 people. Service was very attentive as well!

01/05/2026: Perhaps it was the dish I ordered. The portions are huge. However, I had the privilege to encounter 2 other diners that engaged with me which made the atmosphere more welcoming. The seafood pasta was good but felt the pasta wasnt cooked as thoroughly as it should be. The wines they have, legit as i notoriously buy those same bottles at home

30/09/2025: Extremely disappointed. It was amazing little place, we got rolls for so long from them. Last week I decided to grab a bite, price went up. Oh, well! The roll had barely anything in it. It was 90% bread with zero taste. I think it was my last visit.

11/09/2025: If Carlsberg did sandwich bars!!! Nice and clean establishment, friendly staff, very tasty food. I'll defo be back when I'm back in the area. Outdoor seating also.
